Heltons was an amazing business with trustworthy mechanics that, unfortunately, burned down last October. It has not reopened as of now. They have retired.

Heltons did a great job on my truck. Talked me out of unnecessary work another mechanic wanted to do. Honest & dependable service that are easy to deal with! My first time there but will use them again after this experience! Very satisfied!!!

Heltons auto center is my go to place when I have car problems, or I need an oil change. Scott is the best, honest and trustworthy person and mechanic that I have ever met. He is always there for you. Very busy place so its best to make an appointment.

I want to thank Scott and Bobby they helped us out tremendously. While on vacation in the mountains, our fuel pump went out in the truck on a Saturday, nothing open till Monday. They did whatever needed to be done to get us back on the road. Thank you so much, you guys are a lifesaver.

Heltons Auto Center took care of my car when I was visiting the Smokey Mountains. My rear differential went out & a part had to be shipped from Jasper Engines. I took the car in on Tuesday afternoon, the part was shipped & received on Thursday, and they had my car back to me by 3:00 pm Friday afternoon! I was impressed by their friendliness, care, and workmanship. The car runs great now! I was grateful that I didnt have to book an extra weekend before returning home Saturday.

One of the best small auto mechanics in maryville. They will do you right and wont try to get you to spend money you dont need to spend. Honest guys. They have serviced my families cars for the last few years with no complaints.

This is actually a full service automotive repair shop. Smaller, locally-owned where one of the two owners handles the customer service and the other owner is the mechanic. Excellent quality of repairs with excellent warranties they stand behind. Takes a few days to get in sometimes, though.

Terrible experience. I had to take my vehicle here due to a malfunction while traveling. On day 1, I felt like the guy taking my information wasnt listening to anything but I figured I would give them a try. The plan was that they would call me with an estimate the next day but rough estimate of $350-400 for the work.The next morning, I was called because they couldnt find my key. They later found it locked in the vehicle. I had handed the key to the mechanic before I left, however, Scott accused me of locking the key in the vehicle to make it harder for them. I called them back later in the morning only to find that they had started working on my vehicle without giving me an estimate or options and now they were going to charge me over $600. Scott continued to berate me and try to belittle me saying he wasnt even sure who he was suppose to be dealing with and that this was a big rush. When I reminded him of the conversation and what we had discussed when my vehicle was initially left there, he said he didnt remember any of this.Perhaps this wouldnt have be an issue if I werent female, but after dealing with many mechanics in many states, this was the worst experience I have ever had. Be prepared to be taken advantage of and lied to. Thankfully, I was able to move my vehicle to a reliable mechanic to get it fixed and their quote was $350. The cost wasnt as big of an issue as the way I was treated. Performing work without giving an estimate and then berating a person is not ok.

Excellent customer service. These guys do a great job and obviously enjoy their work. Very matter of fact and dont try to play mechanic games. I will definitely be going back to Heltons.

I had several things done at Helton Auto and not only were they not at all competitive in price, they did the work WRONG and cause me more problems with my car.The work they did on the breaks was very poor - they squealed very badly and when we brought the car back for them to check, they never actually checked them... saying they were fine. Withing weeks, my breaks froze open and I was left without breaks completely being forced to replace everything AGAIN.I also had the alternator, starter and batter replaced, a year ago only to have my car die again on me for the same issues!! And Ive been told itll cost $350 plus dollars to fix the starter alone not counting labor!These people are out for business and they will do whatever they need to to force you to keep coming back to continually fix your car.I will NEVER go back there!!!!

I had a used 1998 Buick Lesabre looked at by Heltons on 3/30/10 for a pre-buy vehicle inspection. They didnt charge me anything for the inspection and did a thorough job looking over the car, despite being a mechanic short that day. They seem like quality people all around. Check them out!
