Great customer service

Gnc is awesome! The staff here are knowledgeable and friendly, there is always a sale going on (admittedly their products are price hence why I love the sales), and their membership is great. I get store credit off stuff I get all the time so the annual membership pays for itself and you also get a box of goodies every month with the membership that you can customize for men or women, and weight loss or weight gain.

Literally everytime I try and shop here there is a note on the door that reads “we will be back shortly.” This is beyond unprofessional. I once came saw the sign went into Safeway to kill time and saw the gal that works there grocery shopping.. Inexcusable. She is also very stand-offish and rude when you come in to shop. I almost never write bad reviews but I had to sit down and write this because it has continued over and over and it’s ridiculous. Why would I come back to shop here if everytime I try (during their normal posted business hours) there is no one here and the door is locked. Over it.

Person working was super rude, just because Im overweight now doesnt mean I dont need your products. I am having WLS surgery soon and am actually quite an athlete as Ive lost 50 pounds recently. I bought what I needed, but after the terribly rude service I will be returning my purchase and going with AMAZON (the product is not GNC branded anyway) and will NOT continue supporting GNC due to the terrible treatment since I am not athletic like the others who get such great treatment.Poor business model and discrimination. Will not get a dime from me.Sadly, this is not the first of many of visits over the years that I have been treated as such at many different GNC locations across the US. Step up your game! A customer is a customer, and at your prices everyone is valuable. Dont judge! I wish I could give zero stars.My last experience, a few years ago? Looked for a protein powder NOT hard on lIver since I told THE ASSOCIATE I had a liver disease. Bought, brought home, read a very large warning not to take if you have liver issues. Awesome, also not well educated associates as well. This RECENT VISIT I knew what I wanted as I did my own research, so why go to a SPECIALTY store if treated like a lesser human and get advice for products that could harm me? SMH.
