I do not blame the workers or management! Dollar Gen. Inc needs to get organized! How can you renovate a store, make necessary upgrades, but yesterday I in the store. The rain was coming into the store like there was no roof above! Corporate needs to monitor and check the work of outside contractors! This issue has been ongoing since before the renovation! The workers do a wonderful job with the store! The store is understaffed!

Sometimes good, sometimes not...i guess it depends who the cook is for the night. Not consistently good.

Got to the store it was close but everything was outside. I was worried for the person inside so I called another store and explained what was going on. The only thing I could think was maybe somebodys robbing them. The other store called district manager and I told him he needs to call police, he was reluctant to that. I drove back of store but nothing. Another customer called police they were worried to. I waited 30 minutes there. Police came then the girl came to door and started talking ugly to everyone saying she had no employees working she needed 30 minutes to do her work with no sign outside. I said a few words to her how disrespectful she was and left so did other. Very rude person when we were trying to look out for her. Never been back to store.

One of the better dollar general stores on the westbank. Hardly ever a wait in line. Handicap accessible parking and entrance available. Never had a bad experience here with a purchase or employees. Will be back. They have a decent selection of greeting cards for cheap. Everything is cheap here,its the dollar general! :)

This particular location is messy, cluttered, nasty, looks dirty and just feels uncomfortable to be in there. But their staff personnel is really nice and helpful.

The workers are always willing to help you find what you need.

Found everything I needed, however the store was very junkie. Lots of stock in the aisles waiting to be put on the shelves.

Its a hot mess in here! You can hardly get down the aisles. The employees in here argue with each other out loud, they carried the arguement outside! Always on a cell phone. Dont even ask if you need help. Just ridiculous. Lots of things without a price. If you ask they dont know.

Since moving to Marrero this has been my go-to Dollar General. The staff are nice. The store is cleaned, stocked, and organized. I can always get my hands on a buggy or hand basket. Overall, this is a nice DG location.

Love the fact that they sell exercise equipment weights and all different type of stuff you can use while exercising in your personal home.

Had money sent to me throgh western union and tried to get it for 3 days. They rather talk and visit than help me. Finally I the people who sent it to cancel it. No one their was interested in helping me. And the store was very dirty..

By far the the worst Dollar General Ive ever been to. Messy and dirty. Employees do not care. Womens bathroom smells like a typical mens. Products completely disorganized. Stock carts on every aisle. Everything started nothing completed.

This place is a JOKE! Not friendly, dirty and very slow at the register. He just looked at me liked I’m suppose to bag my own things!! No that’s your job. If you don’t like your job quit!!

They never have anything stocked and the employees are very disrespectful.We had a problem with the transaction so the cashier had to refund the order and ring everything up again. I understand how annoying it is to have to do that but there was no need for her attitude. As she took everything out of the bag, she threw the things on the counter and even some on the floor. When I asked her a question, she had an attitude with her response. Her name is Tia. I will definitely not be returning and I will not recommend this store to anyone.

Stays stocked and friendly environment.

The Lapalco store is by far the cleanest and most organized and stocked Dollar General compared to the Lafitte store. I have even at times by- passed the Lafitte store n came to the Lapalco store.

I went to this location in Marrero today. The cashier, Amber, was very rude and inconsiderate. She slammed my products into the bags and missed the bag with several items. Im not sure what her mood was for but she should leave her attitude at home.
