This place is a JOKE!!! Do not waste your time or money coming here bc I promise you will regret it. I paid in cash $180.29 and they would only give me a receipt for $91.29?? They charged me $89 for and exam that my insurance covers then would not give me a receipt proving that I paid for it. I called the 1800 number right when I left the store and they said the manager would call me in 24-48 hours this was Monday and I havent heard a word from anyone. This is NOT okay!!

This store provides 5-STAR SERVICE! The personnel are respectful, polite and very knowledgeable. Customer and personnel safety during your visit is a HIGH-PRIORITY! HUGE selection of affordable and fashionable frames!

I had really pleasant experience and had almost no waiting time. All my concerns about type of lens for my particular case was answered in detail and offered multiple choices.Since I had no eye insurance they still offered me half price off on my lenses and they were made for me in 24 hour. I was more than pleased since I could not find any other place offering me 24 hour service.Thank you.

I never had glasses before but I knew my Vision was off a bit. So I decided to come here and let me tell you my experience with Stanton optical was amazing. From the exam to the customers service. Mrs T was really patient and she guide me through each steps. She was even patient enough to show me which glasses she thought look nice on me. It is great to know that if you clueless in different jobs. She definitely knows hers. If you are reading this and need glasses please give them a try. Every employee was so helpful thank you so much. 5 stars just isn’t enough!

Needed a pair of classes and decided to try out this store, had heard good things from friends and family, was very impressed with the staff, and the selection of frames. the wait time was minimal considering I was a walk in. All in all will definitely be using their services again and recommending to others. Cant say enough about Ron and Kae very polite and knowledgeable

This was the best and quickest optical experience I’ve had. Tons of frame options with great range in prices. Overall it was an excellent experience and I’d recommend them to anyone who asks!!

So after many years with another provider I had finally had enough!! I saw the reviews and they cannot be more correct!!! As soon as I walked in I was greeted enthusiastically and was impressed from start to finish!! I was given help from assistance from filling out my insurance forms to choosing my frames!!! Ms. Kaye was awesome!! At the end I spoke with Ms. Tee and she was nothing short of amazing in helping choose the perfect lenses. With total diligence she measured my eyes to make sure they would be perfect before they even arrived!! As soon as I was done I raced home and made appointments for my wife and son!!!! There is quite simply no other place to go!!!

Everyone was very nice but when I was checking out they told me my eye exam will not be free, they also didn’t tell me that they didn’t take my insurance

T and Lonnie give very great customer service. They were able to help me get my glasses fixed on the spot. They also dress very professionally for the eye industry business.

So called corporate office just hung up on Me I spoke the truth about this company does not have a Doctor that could assist patients. My son is in a wheelchair and none of the services are equipped for persons with disabilities they have yet corrected the problem with my sons glasses which I am paying for we will see on the 25th what they will do

I have never experienced such incompetence as I did from the employees at the Stanton Optical in Marrero. Both employees that I encountered had trouble operating the machines during the test. Once I was actually done with the exam I was told that there was a company wide issue and I would have to receive my prescription through email that day. I finally received a call and was informed the email would not be coming and I would have to wait until Thursday to receive it (I was there on a Monday). Waited until the end of the day on Thursday and after not receiving the email I called corporate and was connected to the store. I was told they would send the prescription immediately. I did receive the email and the contact lens prescription was hand written, did not include the base curve or diameter measurements, and to top it off the lens type was spelled incorrectly 🤦🏻‍♂️. As of the time of this review I am still waiting for a corrected prescription but even if I do finally receive it, I will be going to a reputable local eye doctor and getting a real exam done. Do not trust this company with your eyesight.

Kae was an absolute delight! She was extremely patient and kind. She patiently waited while I tried on numerous pairs of glasses all with a smile.

Tee resolved my issue with a great resolution. My experience was fast and friendly. I highly recommend coming here for exams and glasses. They have great promotions and you don’t need insurance. Thank you for everything.

I had a excellent experience today. The staff was respectful and welcoming. I was informed on different types of lenses that are offered. Most importantly it was a clean environment. Staff was very professional and worked at a great paste.

It takes about 3 weeks for glasses to come in which I think is too long. Just my opinion! My last doctor only took a week.

I got my first contacts here and I was having a lot of trouble with them. Luckily Cheryl was very helpful and patient while I showing me how to use them at the store!

Today i called in to schedule an appointment at this location and the initial representative (unknown male) confirmed that Stanton Optical was in-network with my insurance provider. Upon arriving after a 25min drive, I was informed that Stanton Optical is not in-network with my provider. I proceeded to contact the customer service line again to make a complaint; I then spoke with an (unknown female) representative and expressed my great displeasure with the services provided & would like to make a complaint with a manager.....I was then placed on hold and left on hold before i decided to disconnect the call with a total time of 17 mins & 3 secs.....I placed another call this time making sure I had the name of the rep i was speaking with (Lewis or Luis) and explained to him the exact same situation and that i will be reporting this extremely poor customer service to the CEO of the company....(Lewis or Luis) explained that I would be transferred to a Manager/Supervisor by the name of Christian Morales.......yet again I was transferred, placed on hold, and ignored for a total of 30 mins and 11secs before I decided to disconnect the call, only after arriving home to write this review.....My take on Stanton Opticals customer service toward me is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL....it appears their tactic is to place a disappointed customer on hold until that person decides to hang up.....

My disappointment just exacerbated. I bought a pair of glasses. My frame came ajar. They could not be repaired. This lead me into using the warranty. I paid my co pay 7 weeks later no frame. I am now sitting waiting for a resolution. The store manager is completely ignoring her staff. This is while she is selling or attempting to sell a pair of very expensive glasses. She could have stated that she would be with me. However that didn’t happen. If I had not appeared here in person.I would still be waiting. I didn’t save a dime from coming here. After this experience I will not be back and I cannot recommend Stanton. This is truly pathetic.

ZERO STARS I am completely disgusted with their service and handling of my prescription.A complete disregard of explaining everything. An zero stars rating because that what it is zero stars. The custom service is complete trash calling and they never do what they say their going to do gives you the complete run around in everything they do the wasting time to give my refund. They have my glasses, but still wont give my refund they are untrust worthy.

I love this place. Ron helped me pick out my frames and answered all of my questions. I got two new pair of glasses and an eye exam and I walked out in about an hour with my glasses!! They even repaired my old glasses so that I would have an extra back up at no charge. Talk about GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I recommend Stanton Optical to everyone!!! Theyve made a loyal customer out of me!!!

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Stanton Optical in Marrero! I was able to purchase three pair of glasses at half the price I would normally pay for the same. Aside from the cost savings, the staff was friendly and efficient. Ask for Bree, y’all! She is amazing and helped me pick the cutest frames! I will definitely be choosing Stanton Optical for my future vision care needs!!!

I prefer having someone in person to do my eye exam, I bought two pair of glasses and when I picked my glasses up I asked for a cloth to clean my glasses, I was told they dont give you that, they can sell me one, that was the first time going to Stanton Optical and my last time. I have had eye exams at other places and they give you the cloth when you have an eye exam and buy glasses.

Staff is super friendly. Bree is amazing. They made my daughter feel very comfortable and she was able to walk out with 2 pairs of very cute glasses the same day! And 2 pairs of glasses and an eye exam for 59.99, you can’t beat that!!

Horrible, just horrible. After 6 months and three exams, Im still dont have a pair of eyeglasses that I can actually see through. My first pair came in late and I just so happened to walk in the the store to see us they were ready and they had been there for 2 weeks, yet, nobody called me. I still havent got the 2nd pair because when I went to check if they were ready I was told they were sent back because I never picked them up, again, no call. At this point, Ill take the loss on the $300 I paid and go to a real eye doctor.

Omg this place was the best, the optometrist was very nice. I decided to get contacts for the first time, they made sure I had some that were comfortable. My daughter had to get glasses as well and they made her feel beautiful with her new glasses. I highly recommend this place. You guys rock!!

I just got 2 pairs of glasses and a pair of trial contacts all for a reasonable price today! The staff were all VERY professional and friendly, and also very helpful. They saw my sister and I and completed both of our exams in less than an hour. Because I live an hour and a half away, they were able to accommodate me into their schedule, and give me my glasses on the same day as my appointment. I would highly recommend this place.

06/20 eye exam done and told 2 pair of glasses would be ready for pickup 07/4. On 07/04 only one pair were ready for pickup and told 2nd pair would be done 07/08. On 7/04 the one pair was the wrong prescription, couldnt see out of the glasses. Went back 07/06 for another eye exam and was told the one pair would be sent back for a remake and when the others arrived those would be sent back for a remake as well. On 07/10 called to see the status of the remake and was told the first pair had not been sent back for the remake yet because they were still waiting on the second pair to arrive so they could send both glasses back at the same time for a remake. I told them the 2nd pair must be lost since it had not arrived in 21 days and to send the first pair back for a remake now or I want a refund.

One of the friendliest and technologically advanced eye exams Ive ever experienced. Eye exam through a telemedicine interface was actually a very good experience.Bree, our optician, was the star of our experience. She was very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the offerings available. Bree also had a great attitude while we were hunting down our insurance information, which was exasperating my and me.Todays visit definitely sold me on Stanton being the place we will definitely come back to for our vision needs.

Normally. I go to Americas Best, but I didnt want to wait 7 + days for my lenses. Im glad I saw that ad. An eye exam, two sets of glases and shades for less than $70,cant get any better than that! Service was quick, friendly and professional. I will share with others.

Great service! Im a visitor in New Orleans and broke my glasses by accident so need one urgently. I arrived the shop at 10:40 am and they gave me a free exam and I got my new glasses on 12:30 pm. Found this place after being turned away from a different chain and boy am I glad. They saw us the same day, we called at 3:30 and was seen at 5. They waited patiently for my husband and I to make our multiple glasses selections and even helped us pick some out. I have astigmatism and usually have to wait 2 weeks for my glasses but they were able to cut the lenses in store! They even stayed an hour after closing in order to finish my order. I am grateful to you guys and LOVE my new glasses. Can’t wait to come back to pick up my FREE prescription sunglasses. See you guys in a few days 😊

Good I guess, as usual they advertise cheap and then turn the table on you. I dont call 500 dollars for glasses and contacts cheap, which is what youre gonna pay.
