Karl is an incredible chef and I cannot recommend him and his company enough!I hired Karl to cater dessert for my wedding. We did a variety of cupcake flavors and I have to say I am still dreaming about his strawberry basil cupcake! It is absolutely delicious!! The presentation was absolutely stunning as well as the flavor of each cupcake which was a huge hit among the guests!He was easy to work with, friendly, and great communicator! I would highly recommend A Cacao Affair to anyone!Thank you so much!

I picked up some macarons at Woodstock’s farmer market. Such a surprise- they were amazing. The flavors were perfectly exquisite - reminds me of true Parisian flavors at Carette. Will be picking up more when I am at the market. The lavender macaron was my favorite.

Absolutely wonderful! Superb customer service and delicious confections.There was a snafu because I originally ordered through GrubHub and they had asked GrubHub to take them off their service (too expensive!) So my order got cancelled, but they gave me a phone call and apologized and said they still had ordering through Doordash and let me know one of the items I had ordered was out of stock. I was getting down to the wire on ordering from them because it was the end of the day.So I remade my order on DoorDash, arrived quickly, and everything is amazing. Despite it being end of day and having an issue with the first order, they were able to get my order ready in beautiful boxes, with a thank you note, and extra treat!Great service and I will definitely order from them again.

I was super excited to get these for my Birthday. They where absolutely delicious. But after seeing the business website and pictures I expected more. The strawberries where not fully dipped and sloppy. The presentation was not there. We paid $30 for 1lb which was 8 strawberries so kinda expensive to fall so short on presentation.

Excellent candy store! If you are looking for candy or maybe an odd but good drink, this place will have it. Service was very friendly and helpful.

I am in trouble because this place is beyond divine. The desserts and chocolates are beautifully designed little pieces of art. The taste transports you out of the humdrum world of “sheltering-in-place”. It is well worth the cost, and I will be a regular customer.

Hands down the best chocolate I have ever had. Having traveled and tried chocolates in Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico (where the chocolate was born) I have to say this beats the rest.

Traffic deterred me from my usual chocolatier in Dunwoody, so A Cacao Affair is an unexpected and delightful find. In fact, I will be making this shop my new usual for high quality chocolates and macarons. The modest shop is much closer to home, and the confections are masterfully created. Each truffle is beautiful and perfectly sized. I particularly enjoyed the well-balanced, artfully blended flavors and texture. My favorite is the Honey & Saffron. The owner, Karl Vivier, was also very welcoming and helped me select the best assortment for a gift.
