I had such a great experience here! Kathy worked with my schedule and gave me an appointment that allowed all of my best girlfriends to be with me. She made me feel so great about myself the whole time I was there. Extremely helpful and full of life and personality. She had such a vast knowledge of the names and styles from my inspiration pictures. This was the first and only place I looked for my perfect dress, and I couldn’t be more in love. When it came to picking up my dress, Sarah was so helpful as well. She allowed me to try it on again, take more pictures, and offered me even more advice as far as alterations went. All in all my experience was lovely every step of the way. They made me feel more like a friend or family member, not just a customer. I could tell they genuinely loved to see me smile. 10/10 recommend. Thank you so much ladies!

Before coming to Encore Formals and Bridal, I thought I would never find a gown for my destination wedding next month. However, with the help from Kathy 😊, I was able to leave today with the perfect gown fit for a Queen.  Thank you Kathy 💜!!!

The selection and inclusive sizing alone is enough to earn 5 stars. I would give another five stars for the service. Although I did not end up purchasing “the one” from Encore, I left my appointment with Kathy having so much more confidence about my body and understanding the best dress style for me. I went in thinking I knew the style dress I wanted, but Kathy pulled a few dresses I never would’ve chosen for myself and I was blown away with the result. Excellent experience all around.

I called Encore very last minute to see if they maybe had any appointment times open on the actual day I was bridal shopping (obviously would not recommend this for the sanity of the shop, but do as I say, not as I do lol). Kathy not only fit me in that day, but gave me the absolute best bridal shopping experience! She brings fun to the whole shop and makes the whole experience stress-free! Im not from Georgia, but my family lives there now. So over Thanksgiving break this year, my mom arranged for her, myself, my sisters, and my grandma to visit Encore so I could find my wedding dress. I was skeptical at first because it is a rather small shop, HOWEVER, they have an extremely affordable selection with a lot of different styles (and its not overwhelming like some places).When we arrived in the morning, we had the whole place to ourselves, which made the experience even more fun! Jessica and Kathy were extremely helpful, especially since I went in not really knowing what I was looking for. They helped me find my wedding dress style, and even though I had an appointment booked somewhere else (the say yes to the dress store), I ended up canceling because I found my DREAM DRESS at Encore!OVERALL: I would highly recommend to any bride looking for a more personal, private experience. I did not feel pressured at all and was able to take my time and find my perfect dress. They had a nice sitting area for my mom, sisters, and grandma and we had so much fun! They even sent a sweet handwritten card to my house in Texas after I purchased my dress. Overall I loved my experience here - thank you Encore!

This place is so beautiful and the service is amazing! Kathy opened up the store just for us for the day and spent hours catering to us, helping me trying on all different styles of dresses. Kathy is such a sweet lady. She made me feel absolutely beautiful in everything I put on, but nothing left me feeling as confident and beautiful as the very first dress. Kathy is the just the sweetest woman! She had stitches in her toe at the time and didnt complain once about walking around and picking out dresses with me. Kathy worked with me for hours and picked a dress that I would NEVER have pulled. I fell in love with it but wanted to be sure... After trying a few different bridal places I realized that no one could match her size selection, professionalism, courtesy, honest feedback, and advice. After going to other Bridal stores I realized Encore was going to be the place! No one can fake loving what they do and Kathy LOVES what she does it really shows! Her Husband and Daughter were there too, it was so nice to have such genuine people around during such an important time of your life! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My future Son in Law found Encore just by chance when another bridal store let my daughter know she could only bring 2 guests to shop for bridemaids dresses two days before our appt. She has 4 bridemaids and this just was not going to work. She was greatly disappointed as several work weekends and had arranged their schedules to be off. Miss Kathy went above and beyond to make sure my daughter could shop with her 4 bridesmaids. She even met us at the store before it opened to accommodate us. She was knowledgeable about the inventory. She allowed us to browse, but was right there for questions and to assist the bridesmaids getting zipped, pinned, and clipped. A dress was selected and ordered. We are looking forward to working with the staff for alterations in a couple of months. I wish we had found Encore and Miss Kathy before we purchased my daughters wedding dress and my dress.

I went to Encore last night to try on wedding dresses for the first time. Not only did Kathy stay open late for us so I could bring all the important people in my life, but she was so patient and understanding while I was trying on the dresses. She was kind and helpful to another level and we had great conversation before the others arrived. She allowed me to feel comfortable and was SO respectful of my budget, too. Their prices are super reasonable and even though my budget was on the lower end, she did not pressure me to try on anything that was out of my price range and I did not feel obligated to rush with choosing or changing into a different dress. It was a situation and environment where she was cheering me on and making me feel like the only bride in the world, even though she does this everyday, all day! You can tell she really loves what she does.Kathy ALSO ordered me a dress that I saw online and had it delivered to the store so I could try it on! It ended up being my dream dress! She gave me the full experience with putting on a few different veils so I could get the real image of what I will look like as a bride. She provided me with guidance and compassion. I wish I could recommend Encore Formals and Bridal more than just five stars! They deserve a million stars!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!Kathy was THE BEST! Encore has a nice selection of wedding dresses and it never felt overwhelming when picking them out! The ladies were so helpful, all I had to do was point at a dress and they took it to the dressing room! The very first dress I tried on was my dream dress I said Yes to !! I found my dress at Encore and am in love!!! Jessica made the process go so much smoother and enjoyable than I could ever have imagined! She made me feel super comfortable and wanted to make sure that I really loved the dress. The owner was also very nice and had great feedback on dresses. Their dress selection is beautiful as well. The ladies at Encore Bridal were very friendly and professional. In fact, no other bridal store compared! This was the first bridal store that I went to. I tried on many beautiful dresses. They were very patient and showed the highest level of engagement without pressure. I had already made an appointment at Davids Bridal that same day, so I left to see what my options were there. What a mistake! Davids bridal could not compare with personal service nor the dress selection. I ended up calling Kathy (the owner) back that same day. She agreed to stay late after regular business hours, so that I could purchase the dress that I loved! They were so kind and truly genuine. Thank you for making this experience so wonderful and with no stress! I would recommend this store to anyone shopping for a wedding gown.

Went looking for a wedding cape. I was helped my associate Lorena? Fantastic person. Extremely helpful. The owner: not so much. She was not only rude to us, she was rude to her associate, but to us, as well.She asked to speak with her by the counter and then proceeded to speak to her, with us standing there, anyway. She berated her about something else. So the owner is unprofessional. The worker was great.

I found Encore after I had already bought my wedding dress (otherwise I would have shopped here). I came in about 2 months before my wedding as a last attempt to find sleeves for my dress and I found exactly what I was looking for. The sleeves were an absolutely perfect match and made my dress my dream dress. Vivian also did my alterations and I bought my bridal jewelry from here as well. One of the best bridals store I have been in. They were very helpful and took time out of their schedule to personally help me find the dress I wanted. It didnt matter to them how long i stayed in the store. Kathy is the owner and she is one the nicest people that helped me!!! I went with my friend who was having the hardest time finding her wedding dress and the owner was so sweet and helpful! After trying on somewhere between 30 and 40 dresses she finally found the one! We were also lucky enough to make a second appointment to try on bridesmaids dresses and we found it there as well, it’s a nice one stop shop for everything!

WOW! My experience here was truly amazing. My sister got married in the summer of 2015 and got her dress from here and she also had a wonderful experience. We actually left from there to go to Davids Bridal since she already had the appointment booked. After 10 minutes we came straight back to purchase the dress from Encore. I just got engaged in August of 2015 and am getting married next summer. Of course I made an appointment at Encore and another place in Atlanta for the next day. My experience at Encore was truly amazing. Kathy immediately greeted me, my sister, mother and grandmother like she had known us for years! She remembered my sister too and she was so excited to see pictures from her wedding. I found the most stunning gown that night but like my sister, had an appointment booked the next day at another place which I felt I needed to follow through and show up for. I immediately called Kathy as soon as I left that place and came by later that day with my mom to purchase my wedding gown at Encore! Overall, it blew every place out of the water me and my sister had gone to! I truly felt like I was the only bride in the world trying on gowns and thats how it should feel. I wasnt rushed. I wasnt pressured. It was just wonderful! Kathys alterations specialist, Julia, is awesome too! Always so friendly and helpful! Just love them!

I was on my Winter Break from teaching and had went shopping and decided to stop and have a cupcake at a store next door. I got engaged NYE so I was excited about a bridal shop. They were closed because it was on a Monday. The next day I decided to stop by and I didn’t have an appointment. Kathy the owner was great. She was very helpful and we tried on many dresses. I found a wonderful dress but this was my first place to look. I went to several different places but same back to Encore for the dress I tried on. I also came back without an appointment and Encore was still very accommodating and helpful. If you are looking for a dress this is the place.

I was extremely disappointed in the customer service. My stepdaughter and I walked in to purchase a prom dress and no one greeted us, gave us any information on the dresses, or even started a dressing room. We pretty much had to help ourselves and what was even more disheartening was to witness another mother and daughter walk in for prom and get great customer service. This is my stepdaughters senior year and I wanted her to have a wonderful experience. Sorry, I simply cannot support a business like that.

After appointments at several bridal salons and with little success in finding the right dress for our bride, we landed at Encore Formals and Bridal in Marietta for our final appointment of the weekend. Encore has a lovely selection of gowns, a relaxing atmosphere, and outstanding professional assistance. Further, Kathy loves her work and puts her heart into the attire for the entire wedding party, including the fittings and alterations. The manager was incredibly rude to my daughter (grabbing dresses out of her hands) and myself while prom dress shopping. I understand the store was quite busy, but this is not the way to treat customers.The manager took down our information to find a dress and then did not contact us yesterday or today as she promised. I do not recommend this shop.

I chose to go look at dresses at Encore Formals and Bridal for two reasons. The first reason was because I had seen the really great reviews that Encore Formals and Bridal had, and my second reason was because they had the designer that I had wanted. I had checked with other bridal shops who did not carry Sophia Tolli dresses and I was ecstatic to find out that Encore Formals and Bridals did! They carried the same exact dress that I had looked at for so many years. That dress did not work out for me, however Ms. Kathy was extremely patient with me and she really took the time to get a feel for what I was looking for in a wedding dress. I was overjoyed to be able to find the perfect dress for me and it only took me one stop, at one store, on one day. I got the wedding dress of my dreams that fits me like a glove. Every single person that I dealt with at Encore Formals and Bridal were so very nice and so very helpful. Although my dress fit me like a glove for the most part, I still had to have it taken up a lot due to the fact that I am so short. I decided that since I had such an amazing experience with everyone at Encore so far that I would have my dress taken up there as well. Margarita made the dress altering experience such a breeze. I had to have several inches taken off of my very detailed dress. Margarita did such a beautiful job with everything that she did and when I went in for my second (which was also my last) dress fitting the dress fit me like a glove like it was made for me. You could not even tell that so much had to be taken up. Margarita even surprised me with a triple French bustle in which I found to be absolutely stunning, it took my breath away. I cannot thank Ms. Kathy, Margarita and everyone else at Encore Formals & Bridal enough for all of their help and hard work they put into making this a very memorable and wonderful experience. I was born and raised in Kennesaw (now live in CO), so I decided to come home to shop for my wedding dress with my family. I scheduled an appointment with Encore not knowing what to expect. It was my first day shopping and the first appointment of the day. The shop is very cute and they have a GREAT selection of dresses. Lindsey helped us out that day and she was amazing to work with. She understood what I was looking for made sure to pin the dresses perfectly so I could really see what they would look like after alterations. It was a private event, rather than feeling like you were being herded and rushed. I would absolutely recommend working with Encore. I went to two other appointments that day, but came back to Encore and purchased my wedding dress. Wonderful experience!! Thank you :)

Lea was a dream! I set an appointment for a Saturday afternoon to visit the store. I spoke to Lea prior to my visit and told her of the specific dresses I was looking to try on and she made sure she had them readily available for me.While trying on the dresses, she was very sweet and made certain I felt comfortable without feeling exposed. She shared her opinion without being pushy or overbearing. Not once did I feel like she was just saying the dress looked good for the sale. She was very helpful with suggesting similar styles.The entire experience was a breath of fresh air. This is how I had always imagined trying on wedding dresses to be. While I didnt purchase my gown this was not due to the selection (which is great) nor was it due to costumer service (which was amazing)---it was more that I had a certain designer in my head and had to see his work first. The Sophia Tolli dresses were amazing---and Kathy, the owner (?) ---spent an amazing amount of time working with us to get the right fit, give the right amount of feedback and to really make us comfortable. I just had to see the other dress---and that is where I ended up purchasing. THAT said--I highly recommend Encore----they bent over backwards to make my night there a special one and it was much appreciated.

We needed to have my boyfriends measurements taken ASAP and Kathy was nice enough to let us come in without an appointment. She was so kind and patient and didn’t rush us out even though she was juggling three prom appointments.

After trying out five different bridal shops, I was happy to find that Encore blew them all out of the water! After a mixed bag of experiences at bridal shops, I started looking directly at designers’ websites to try and narrow down to the dress I wanted. I fell in love with one from Morilee, but after contacting several dress shops in and around Atlanta, was unable to find anyone who either had it or was willing to order a sample for me to try on—until I came across Kathy at Encore!She was endlessly positive and patient throughout the process of obtaining the sample from the designer and so encouraging once I met her in the store to try on dresses. She made me, my bridesmaid, and my mom all feel like family. I am so happy to have ordered my dress from Encore and could not recommend Kathy and her colleagues more! They are one of the few places that will go above and beyond for you.

Went here while trying to find a dress, the lady would not allow me to try anything. I told her I didnt have expirence in wedding dresses or styles and didnt know what there was. She told me to come when I knew exactly what I wanted. Wouldnt help me, wouldnt explain anything that she clearly should have advice and expertise in, and was very rude. I left heart broken and defeated.Spent my money somewhere else where people were nice and helpful.

The day I went to Encore and found my wedding dress truly inhabited some of the best memories of my life. Im a sentimentalist naturally, yet the process of finding my dress was even more beautiful than I originally dreamed. As I booked my appointment, Lea spoke with an unforgettable level of enthusiasm and support, and this sentiment continued on through the date. The day of, Lea showed the upmost level of kindness, patience. and expertise. She gave me advise on silhouettes and material, yet consistently acknowledged the importance of pursuing a dress that captured my personality and made me feel most beautiful. I had my eye on a tea rose and ivory dress throughout my entire appointment and it was Lea who encouraged me to go for it. She challenged me to not let myself see the dress in the mirror until I could get the full-effect. After finally being able to peek the floodgates opened and I knew it was the one!!! Thank you, Lea, for contributing so heavily to such a beautiful moment, for encouraging me, and for staying so late to make it happen!! And thank you, Encore, for having the best selection of beautiful dresses and ultimately, the dress and veil that I will be overjoyed to wear on my wedding day!!!

My family and I went into this store on January 20, 2018 and was not greeted or acknowledged by anyone working in the store. After browsing around for a few minutes, noone still felt the need to acknowledge our presence. I refuse to do any business with a store that exhibits such horrible customer service. There is too much competition out there for the folks at Encore to be selective in who they choose to or choose not to provide good customer service to!

Walked in and ladies had a rude tone when we said we had an appointment. When trying on dresses we asked for dress clips and it took 10 minutes for the lady to come back with them (note they weren’t even busy, it was just us and a guy in the back). When trying on dressses, the lady never checked on us once to see if we needed help or had any questions. I wouldn’t recommend going for a bridal appointment. Not sure why the knot voted them the best.

Ok, so let me start by saying that over the past few months me and my best friend have been in and out of ALOT of bridal shops. We found this particular one on a whim and called. They were very nice and said we could come even though we didnt have an appointment. After entering, we were amazed at how helpful and nice the associates were. Rose and Lea were absolutly amazing!! Not only did my best friend find the perfect wedding gown, she was treated like a princess. They even worked with her on price and a few customizations!! I recommend this shop over any shop I went too. Also, they have wedding, bridesmaid, and even prom dresses. BEAUTIFUL ONES!!! Definitely one to put on your list if looking for a dress!!! :)
