Ive been an Alan Cox customer for several years, and I give them high marks for integrity, trustworthiness and consistent reliability. Their service goes over and above. I feel confident as a regular customer that they know my vehicle and will give candid recommendations. Nick the service manager is congenial and easy to work with.

I had my vehicle sent to this shop for them to do an inspection on my suspension (control arm) and inform me if there was anything else to fix aside from that. They were late in getting me my quote, and I had to go out of my way to get information out of them. They only got back to me days after they said they would with a quote, to which I had to call for and was not provided until I repeatedly asked for. Their quote was more than double the amount that Firestone down the street quoted me for. Upon towing the vehicle back to my home, the towing company told me that the shop attempted to upcharge me an extra $15. When the vehicle arrived to my home, it was returned with a flat tire which was not present before, there was an oil leak when there had never been any sort of leaking issues prior, my breaks were not secured properly, or at all it was only being held by two bolts that were only hand tightened. (The pads werent even on the caliper) the car had little to no oil left, and when the car was on and idling, there was smoke coming out of the engine.

Took my vehicle there as Ive heard great things about this shop. Jeremy was honest and very knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable with the entire repair process. Prices are very fair. Definitely recommend.

Ok so I made a APPOINTMENT on Thursday for my car to be serviced on Friday at 8 am I was there at 8 when I arrived I told them that I made a APPOINTMENT to get my car serviced one of the guys told me that my car would be ready in a hour a whole hour goes by and my car has not been serviced its literally the same way I parked it has not been moved at allwhat a waste of my time and had the thought to think I would come back to make another APPOINTMENT for the next day I went somewhere else they resolved the issue in 10 min. Next time if someone makes a APPOINTMENT lets respect that please other wise there is no point of me making a APPOINTMENT

Im relatively new to Marietta and was looking for an automotive repair shop for my Subaru Outback and Im really Happy that I took it to Cox Automotive. Nick was Great to work with and most helpful in getting the most done by my warranty company. For the work that wasnt covered I received a reasonable price and repairs were done in a timely manner ! I highly recommend Cox Automotive and will take my car to them whenever I need service!

I was with my son at this place because my son’s car needs a suspension/steering repair job. They scheduled a day for my son to take the car and he had his car towed to the shop. The car was there for a few days and when my son got the estimate he couldn’t afford to get it done. So he towed the car back home and found out that the car was leaking oil, the oil cap was smoking when he turned the car on and had water mixed with the oil, one of the tires was flat and the brakes weren’t put back on properly.

I brought my car to Alan Cox Automotive after I damaged my splash shield on my Honda Civic and a different body shop tried to charge me $400 for a whole new underbody cover and parts that weren’t needed. The guys at Alan Cox fixed my car in less than 30 minutes and were able to reattach the splash shield without an issue. I’ll definitely be bringing my car to them for any future repairs and maintenance!

This place is great. There is little turnover, which is an indication of good management. They keep to their schedule pretty closely. They explain to me what my car needs done and sometimes why it is necessary and whether it can or cant wait. They are much more pleasant than a dealership. Nobody tries to sell me a newer car while Im waiting. Their work is reliable. We have been using Alan Cox Automotive for more than 30 years.

I’ve been bringing my Honda’s to Alan Cox automotive for over 20 years. They are reliable, reasonably priced and provide quality service. I do a lot of my own repairs but if it’s something I don’t want to tackle I bring it to Alan Cox. Nick and crew are very knowledgeable and always willing to provide good advice on your repair. Ive had my last three cars serviced here and only here since the day I brought them home from the dealership.Ive been doing business with them since 2006 and theyre entirely interested in building long-term relationships with customers based on trust, not short-term cash.They used to specialize in import cars but branched out in the last few years to cover most anything. If they dont work on it, theyll know someone trustworthy who does.

3 stars are for prompt and friendly customer service. However, after spending close to $500 my vehicle is in the same condition as before. Clearly their diagnostic process was not thorough enough to find the real issue and it seems as though their recommended services (which were costly) were based off a quick glance. Disappointed to say the least.

We were so pleasantly surprised with their service and honesty. I had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly. My honda accord had a leak, my driver side used to be flooded every time it rained. I thought it would be a costly and time consuming repair. They were able to fix my car the same day and the cost was so reasonable, and they gave us honest feedbacks and tips, it made it even better that everyone was friendly and personable. They even followed up with us. Even though its a 35 minute drive for us, it was worth it, and look forward to bringing our cars there in the future.

I have been going to Alan Cox for about 5-6 years, I cannot remember how long. Know that I am a skeptic and it took me a while (2 years) of oil changes, tire rotations and other services, to trust Alan Cox Automotive with my car and van. You should have seen the look on the faces of the staff when I interviewed them, face-to-face, as to why I should bring my Hondas to them. They were surprised anyone would ask, especially the Mechanics, but they entertained my questions, with a bit of hesitancy or stage-fright, not sure which. I liked their answers and now they service all of my Honda vehicles. Nick, at the front desk, has a great sense of humor and loves to talk to Customers. Jonathan is quite entertaining and enjoyable to speak with. Brought my 2008 Acura TL in for some known service issues. Nick was able to breakdown each of the service issues and was able to save me money on certain tasks. After spending a substantial amount of money the car was ready and covered for another 2 yrs 24K. Two weeks later I had another leak that was not related to the prior fixes...Nick and the team at Alan Cox repaired the new leak at no charge! Great service! And great relief to me! Just purchased a 1985 Celica and needed a used car inspection. I got a great check over and now we have a plan for the restoration over the next few months. Twenty years later and I am still bringing my cars to Alan Cox for service and maintenance. Alan Cox has great customer service: Their automotive technicians are approachable and, besides a standard service write-up, are willing to show you what they see on your car (that you may not) in the service bay. Their staff is consistent, most of the employees at Alan Cox have probably been with the company as long as I have been bringing them my cars. Probably most important, my wife is comfortable at Alan Cox. She appreciates the timely, efficient service, the available waiting area, and she really likes that she can tell the service manager, Nick, to hold all important information for me.

I was referred to Alan Cox Automotive through a family friend a couple years ago and had always trusted them. A few days ago my car broke down and I had it towed to them, i had them run diagnostics on it( and paid a 100 dollar fee) and they told me I had low compression on cylinder 2 and needed spark plugs and that I had 2 options 1. Have an internal engine cleaning and oil change done along with new spark plugs although it was not a guaranteed fix or 2. Replace the engine. Because that didnt sit well with me... I had it towed to the Honda auto shop the next day directly from alan cox automotive. Honda called me back and told me it was my fuel pump and spark plugs, fixed it and now its running perfectly. They ran a compression test and I have paperwork stating the system was normal. To say Im disappointed would be an understatement. I honestly feel that they tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman and they thought they would get as much money from me as they could. Please be aware that if something doesnt make sense to you it might be worth trusting your instincts and having a second opinion.As a side note- Ive always regularly maintained my vehicle. Have never had smoke, low oil, oil leaks or anything indicating I would need a new engine. What they said would be happening as a result of the problems they diagnosed was not happening to my vehicle.

Alan Cox Automotive is up front about the services they provide, the charges associated with those services, and the reasoning behind why your vehicle would benefit from those services. Additionally, they arent pushy about performing services that you arent interested. For example, last time I came into the shop it was for an engine light that indicated an emissions error. I was told that this was most likely the gas cap but we wouldnt know for sure unless a smoke test was performed. I opted out of the smoke test, because I was confident that the gas cap was the issue, and was provided a top quality manufacturers part to replace the defective one. Its been over a week and no light. They might not be the least expensive auto mechanics in town, but you definitely get what you pay for.

I took my 2004 Honda Accord here for routine maintenance and because my check engine light was on. Not only did Alan Cox Auto fix the issue expediently, but they also found my power steering pump failing and fixed that as well. Before any repairs were done Nick talked me through the issues they found and gave me accurate quotes for the cost to repair each. My car runs better now than it did when I bought it in 2016.
