I’ve bought some really nice, and neat things here over the years. Really was looking forward to buying some books, but the double masked gentleman who owns the store made us leave because we will not put on a mask. He’s always been a bit short, and not very friendly. He’s very knowledgeable when it comes to antiques and records. His wife who also owns the store is much more friendly and just as knowledgeable. She had her mask around her chin when we were in there... which was quite ironic. Some of these people should think about their business / customers after the “pandemic”.

I visit this store at least once a week and I have never had a bad experience. Melissa, her husband, and the folks that work there are kind, helpful, and patient. When I read these reviews today, I could not believe all the garbage these salty shoppers wrote. Dont want to wear a mask? You dont get to come in. My body my choice? Give me a break. I would recommend this store and the record store within to anyone. They have an incredible selection of new and used vinyl, true audiophile gear, and antiques from all over the world. Antiques on the Square and Sweet Melissa Records are a local treasure, and anyone who cant see that needs their eyes checked.

Our family visited the square yesterday just to walk around and see what was there. My 11 year old son loves antique stores and wanted to go in this one because they had records. He asked for a record player for Christmas so has been searching for Beatles records. We have been in several other antique stores but none had the Beatles. We go in and an older man asked if we had masks. I said yes and gave my son one to put on and I said I would wait outside for him. My son wanted to stay because he spotted some Beatles albums. My husband stayed inside with him and had his mask on. The man proceeded to block my son’s path to the records. My husband asked to to please move so my son could see the records. The man stayed blocking his path saying that he wanted to make sure my son had a mask on. My son had his mask on already! Needless to say my husband took my son and left as he felt the employee was intimidating my 11 year old. My son was on the verge of tears after the encounter and having not been able to look at the albums. What a way to treat customers who were complying with what they had been asked to do. We won’t be back there.

Im giving a review to a place Ive never been in, but it may be the most helpful review on this page! I gave it 4 stars only because I was disappointed that they didnt have an online list that I could find. The owner clearly loves vintage technology (as do I). I ran across this place by accident after hours. A look into the windows show the large collection of what appear to be pristine vintage (50s-70s) radios, reel tape decks (from micro to component multi track machines), records, record players, receivers, tuners, amps, typewriters and cameras. His store ( gotta be a guy) looks like my house! It was probably a good thing they were closed, because I have no more room in my house, not even closet space! There are a variety of other antiques as well, but the vintage tech is unique and rarely seen in brick and mortar stores anymore. Im looking forward to getting into this place someday on my travels. Ill post some photos I took through the windows.

The leather stall, the guy makes wonderful looking leather, alligator and crocodile belts and purses. All hand done...a truly dying art. You can also buy online. Other stalls more traditional antiques.

Been shopping on The Square for decades and Ive seen businesses come and go, mostly the antique stores. Ive been going here for years. The woman was always friendly, courteous and professional. The man was always cold and stand-offish.Having just sold a couple of coins at Robinsons I decided to cross the street and shop at antiques store. Well, today the man was downright rude and obnoxious. Extremely rude. I was blown away! Never going to bring my business there again. Never!

We are long time customers and fans of Antiques On The Square, and we very much appreciate their mask policy. Anyone who would refuse to do business with them because they care about their health as well as the health of their customers is just plain ignorant.

Love this spot. My girlfriend got a bracelet here and hasn’t taken it off since. All the negative reviews are coming from right wing snowflakes who can’t and don’t want to respect other people’s health by putting a mask on. It’s not hard to do. I’ll definitely be back.

We drove an hour to buy some moon landing photos our grandson had seen for his birthday. When we arrived, the shop was closed - not open on Wednesday. Yes, I know that’s on us. However, a young lady was doing some work in the shop and saw us outside. She unlocked the door and when we told her what was going on she let us in and sold us the photos. We were blown away.

This place will never get anymore of my business! I went there Saturday to look for hat pens for a friends Christmas gift. I asked the lady at the desk do yall have any hat pens she said no, do you have a mask? I said no, I have asthma and cant wear one. I even pulled out my inhaler as I was telling her and I $hi# you not she asked me to leave the store! These sheep will believe anything the news tells them!
