I brought two of my grandparents paintings that have been in our family since WW2 (76 years) to be repaired and restored. The blue painting had a tear from our move and you cant even tell it was torn. I just picked them up and they look better than I could have hoped for. The staff at Avery were professional and a joy to work with. They communicated during the entire process and even gave a tour of what they would be doing. I highly recommend Avery Gallery for all of your art needs.

I had an old newspaper clipping from almost 60 years ago. However, I did not have the full article because it was continued on a different page. I was able to print off the rest of the article but of course, it was not the original newspaper. Avery Gallery did an outstanding job in recreating the newspaper by dyeing the print out (and the top of the newspaper!). I cannot tell the difference between the two. Really amazing work!

We moved here from Los Angeles ten years ago and were thrilled to find Avery Gallery. Their frames are on a par with the best framers in Los Angeles, so each new piece they framed for us (hand-colored antique botanicals, original oil paintings and exceptional watercolor art) fit in beautifully with the art we brought from LA. The owners were wonderful and very nice to work with. Avery Gallery is just one more of the many reasons we love Georgia so much.

Delightful experience! Avery Gallery showcases local & international artists; currently has an original Peter Max, and features a dedicated space to exhibit their own Kasimir Museum. When the owner Shae isnt overseeing restoration projects, and has time to provide a one-on-one tour, be prepared to be mesmerized by the many nuances & back stories concerning his vast collection of multiple plate color etchings by Luigi, Tanna and Robert Kasimir! The exhibit beautifully documents the Kasimirs home and their travels during the 20th Century in Austria, England, Germany, France and the United States. Other works found in the gallery area, includes a collection ranging from: oil paintings, sculpture, photographs, enamel on copper, etchings --to watercolors, pastels, acrylics, ceramics, pottery and art glass. A treasure trove to intrigue patrons of the arts, students, collectors, historians --to lovers of quality printmaking. Theres no pretence or haughtiness at this gallery & unique museum; its simply laid-back. Enjoy the gentle experience of storytelling that warms, yet educates and lends itself to breaking bread.

Avery Gallery is THE place for framing and fine art restoration in the Atlanta area. The shop has a small but conscientious staff who consistently delivers the goods. If quality is your goal, AG is your destination.

Go check out the current exhibit this June : Jump into impressionism with oil paintings from Vance Miller, Philippe Leki, F. Carlson and many more, all affordable price ranges. This gallery hides marvelous skills of art restoration, museum quality custom framing and most important very good advice (optical balance). The gallery also proposes classic art for sale and offers a large collection of color etchings by the notorious Kasimir family from Austria. If you have traveled to Europe, you will love to own a Kasimir etching, a beautiful reminder of local architecture and landscape. People at Avery Gallery are very nice and helpful - they take the time to make sure you know about the art you like, you pick the right frame or decide to go ahead with the restoration of an old painting, sculpture, book, photo that will look a 1000 times better for decades to come. You pay the price for very good quality work but it is really worth it. the feel good factor is amazing. I am a very happy customer indeed.
