My Catalytic Converter was stolen off my car. I tried calling a bunch of different places to get a quote, but they all wanted me to bring my vehicle in. When I called NorCal Muffler and spoke to Jason, I gave him the year, make, and model and he gave me a quote on the phone within 5 minutes. When all was said and done, the price I was quoted is exactly what I paid. They also finished installing it in the exact time I was told on the phone. These guys are clearly knowledgeable about their trade get the work done in a professional and timely manner. I went to 3 other places in Manteca to test the water. 1 was cheaper but all three didnt have any clue about my truck and muffler I had. They all said no problem and this is the price. My cousin recommended I pay a visit to these guys for the work I wanted done on my Mazda 3. I went wanting a glasspack install and left with a delete instead. Im very pleased with the results. I also picked up a nice new exhaust tip, everything came out to a very fair price, much less than I thought Id be spending initially. Friendly people, honesty, and very informative. These three things are exactly why theyll see me again when I want something else done. All in all, for my first visit to a real shop. Fantastic. I absolutely recommend them.

Im a repeat customer. I brought in my first Sierra in early 2016 and had a new exhaust system put in. I went with Magnaflow and was thoroughly impressed with the workmanship and happy with the new sounding truck.These guys are legit, so I knew I would return whenever I needed exhaust system work done.Fast forward nearly 5 years and I got another bone stock Sierra that needs some customization starting with the exhaust. I went with a different muffler this time around and different tailpipes and placement. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and the end result was even better. I was a little sceptical of the muffler size they recommended, but they said if I didnt like it they would put a different size on no extra charge.They were right.I gave it 2 weeks and I still love it. Its throaty and loud enough, but not obnoxious...it turns heads in parking lots plus my wife likes everything about it.Ill be going back for power sidesteps soon. 1 star for installing the exhaust i guess and 1 star for fixing 1 of the 4 issues i noticed when i reluctantly decided to follow up months laterI wanted to go to a local business in my city because it was convenient and i see the norcal sign all the time. Also it makes me feel good to support my city.Honestly i should have paid more for the job but they did not or i should say HE did not sell the ENTIRE job to me so it would be done correctly and i would be a completely satisfied customer.I bought a portion of my aftermarket exhaust kit online and 2 brand new cat converters from norcal i was told to bring in all accesories of the kit ie. Hangers, rubber bushings etc those were never used#1#2 I specifically stated that i want my exhaust TIPS to come straight out the back and not flared out like they were and currently are. The answer that i was given almost verbatim was NO were going to install it using what your giving us.Right then and there i should have canceled the order but i had been planning this for a long time and needed to get it done. As well as i wanted to trust them and im not much into hassling as i know exactly how it is having run my own business for over 15 years and was very succesfull.*there were a few other red flags such as the WELDS and how sloppy they were but ill leave it at that bottom line is its better than what i had😕 but definitely nothing close to satisfaction. Now i have to spend more $ to get it done right somewhere else ughhI see it like this 1 UNSATISFIED customer can BREAK your business in so many waysBut 1 GREAT completely satisfied customer MAKES your business in so many ways

Good work but I bit hi priced for the work but they do custom exhaust work and its quality which is hard to find nowadays and it was worth it for such good customer service as well . Check them out but bring your wallet

I bought a 2002 F150 with low mileage, but it had been lowered, so low that it bottomed out on me several times. I went to Jason at NorCal and he set me up with a package to return it to stock for a decent price. The turn around was one day and I had my truck back to stock. Truck rides great and I appreciate doing business with Jason. He runs a honest and upfront business model. I will definitely be going back for any other upgrades to my vehicle.

I came down to NORCAL muffler and truck thinking my catalytic converter was out on my NISSAN. I seen all the great reviews so that led me here. BRIAN NAY was very polite and attentive and took my car up for an inspection. Mean while in my head am thinking am about to spend 800 or more! He took a look around and said oh it just this loose part causing all the rattling!! He fixed it and said I was good to go!! I told him what I owe him and he said nothing man just come on by if anything comes up! That’s customer service right there!!! Definitely recommend this place!! Just went in for information about a lift kit for my Jeep Renagade. They were helpful.

My 94 Honda Civic did not pass smog. The smog tech recommended Norcal. When I took the car there, just looking at the paper work they knew it was the catalytic converter. For $160 for parts and labor I was back on the road to smog and passed. They helped me quickly and were professional and I recommend them.The employee I dealt with is Zach.

Got some mufflers done on my Roush mustang about a year ago and decided a week ago to come back to ask how much it would cost to have one of the sidepipes that had been shifted back from either a speedbumb or over time. Without any hesitation they tossed it up on the lift, got it cut fixed and welded to the way I wanted without any charge at all! The previous work has been leak free still and have had no problems. Highly recommend!

Had custom y-pipe and exhaust made and while they did a good job, they didnt mount my exhaust cutoff pipe correctly like I had specifically requested, so the exhaust cutoff motor cannot be mounted at all.
