Very happy with how Ricardo and his team took care of of my car and my customer.One of my rental cars was in northern California and went past its oil change time.So Ricardo made an appointment for me and went out of his way to make everything smooth.The price was excellent and the service was even better!I was 500 miles away and hell probably never see me in his life, but he went above and beyond to take care of us.

So I got an oil change from them about 6 months ago. I came home, parked car in garage. Next morning there was oil all over the floor. Went back and told them they didn’t tighten the bolt all the way. They offered me a free oil change.Just went back last week. In their system they had no record of what had happened and no record of a free service. But, the gentleman at the counter believed my story and gave me a free oil change! That goes a long way in my book. I will return and I will recommend a business that does the right thing.Thank you BM!

Got an oil change, they stated that a tire rotation was part of the service which I agreed for them to do to save me time from going to another store. They did not do the tire rotation as they said they would. On the work order it said they did. What a fraud. If they lied about doing the tire rotation, what else did they lie and can lie about. Did they even change my oil? They told me it would take an hour which I didn’t mind but it was done in about 30 minutes or less. These guys are frauding people. I want my money back. I’ve been going here a few times already thinking they do a good job but they don’t.

Been coming here for over 3 years for oil change and tire rotation, all was fine until the current manager Kevin showed up. Under Kevin quality of service has been considerably lower than before. I suspected that they were not rotating my tires which I confirmed after marking the tires and seeing if they rotated, which they did not. Also they managed to destroy the threading on my cars oil pan by screwing in the plug with the incorrect torque and caused my oil pan to leak so much oil that I had to get a $500+ repair job on it in a different shop. Of course Kevin told me that he lied about them doing tire rotations. I recommend you stay away from this establishment. You cant trust a grown man who will act like a 5 year old man-baby and lie to their costumers about their service

Came here for an oil change.They ended up giving somebody else an oil change that was parked in the same parking lot as me. Apparently my car key is universal, so I waited over 30 mins for somebody else to get a free oil change.While my car just sat there.They didn’t know they did the wrong car until the oil change was finished.I had to tell them that it wasn’t my car.I wasn’t accommodated for their mistake.This place is a joke.

They left my air filter cabin open after my oil change and my vehicle took in water when my apartment parking lot flooded almost destroyed my engine

My dad took his 2014 Toyota Camry in for an oil change. They were the last location to change the oil, however, the car was owned at that time by someone else. When we checked the oil prior to having them change it, we noticed it was reading about a quart high. Thought that was weird. When we picked up the car after having it changed today, checked the level and it was about a quart over again. Then asked to have the oil drained to the appropriate level and credit back the monies to reflect the proper oil amount used. After getting the car back again, checked it again and it was still about a quart over. (I don’t think they drained any oil when asked.) no credit was applied. Not a huge loss of money, probably $10. If they’re doing this to multiple people multiple times, that makes them some good money and takes from the consumer. The guy was rude and didn’t appreciate being told by an older mechanic that the job wasn’t acceptable. Running your car overfilled with oil is harmful. Folks, check your oil levels after these guys do a change for you. Obviously, not going back.

Got my breaks done here, went back because there was a clicking noise. I was told it was because I needed back breaks, When they changed my back breaks they told me I had pretty much used up my front breaks already, it hadnt even been 3 months since they were put on. Just took my car to les schwab, they said my breaks were at 80% didnt need new ones, and the clicking noise was something completely different. Dont waist your money here

Had an appointment and drove there to find out they had two people quit so they wouldn’t be able to do my oil change that day. Understandable. Left my number, no call back for a week. Won’t answer the phone. Nuff said. Pretty bad attitude I received even though I was as polite as one can be.

It was a great experiance. Great, first rate service and credibility.

All I can say is this, get a second opinion. My car was misdiagnosed. The parts they replaced and the work done wasn’t even needed. Problem still persists. Second repair shop showed my how loose Brake Masters installed part was. $540 out the window and the car STILL has the clunking noise.

They said my filter was put on too tight by my last oil change place. They charged me full price for half an oil change and left me with a problem. Good customer service, but customer service isnt good labor. Told me to go to a dealership to break out the stuck filter cause they didnt have the tool. Absolute bs, never had this problem.

Found Brake Masters in Manteca Online. They got me an appointment for a Saturday. Wanted a quote on the phone but they explained why they couldn’t. Went in and they inspected the brakes first because they never like to charge for work that doesn’t need to be done. Mark is extremely knowledgeable and transparent. I automatically assumed I needed all four of my brakes replaced and he explained that I only needed 2 to be done. I went in there only for my brakes but will return for everything else they offer. Can’t find too many places like this anymore. Mark and his staff really make sure they are not selling you.

I stopped in on 7/13/2017. Henry assisted me and I was so amazed at his honesty and knowledge. He (Henry) wasnt trying to make a fast buck off of my situation. He was forthcoming and gave me honest answers. Although Id been told by another brake repair shop that I needed both front and rear brakes; after having his service attendant to look at my brakes, he made me aware that I needed rear brakes, but I didnt need front brakes (at least not for now). Also, I thought I needed a wheel alignment, and he asked a couple of questions and said I need balancing; not a wheel alignment. This left open the opportunity for him to make a fast buck for something I thought I needed, but didnt. I felt as though Id gone back in time where people cared for one another and sincerely tried to help a person in their time of trouble, and not let greed and money supersede the real issue at hand. Thanks Henry, keep up the awesome work!

I had taken my car for an oil change the day before to a different oil change company that claimed to be Speedy but they did something wrong and I discovered a big oil slick on my driveway when I got home from a long commute. I tried calling the Speedy company for help but they were closed. I needed the leak to stop and wasnt sure where it was coming from. Luckily the guys at Brake Masters were just about to close shop but agreed to help me out. They were able to find the problem and fix it fast. They were very friendly and honest and now have a new customer for life! Highly recommended!!!

All we can say is these guys are so honest! We thought we needed our brakes done and they checked it out for free and turned out everything was okay. They called us back and said- No charge! Everything looks okay with your brakes. Now any other place wouldve tried to take you for your money but these guys are so honest and trustworthy. I wanna take a moment to compliment this business. Not only is the staff extremely polite, and very accommodating but they are just overall awesome! They even allowed me to bring in my own parts! They are quick, and great at their job! They dont mess around, dont try and sell you things you dont need, explain everything from start to finish and will even bring you back to show you visually. They go the extra mile for their customers and really have that genuine honesty that you cant seem to find in alot of shops anymore. I will continue to bring my vehicles here and highly reccomend anyone that needs repairs do the same!!I would give them 10 out of 10 but 5 unfortunately is the highest they let me do lol.

5 Stars for a Oil Change Lube & Filter change. But thats all I will allow these guys to do. I learned the hard way when I allowed them to replace my rotors and brake pads that they are not experienced enough oddly, to do those repairs. I have had squeaking when I brake since they did them and each time I go in to get a oil change I address the issue. Making sure they note it in their system, the mechanic takes it out and hears nothing. So I drove them and guess what they heard my first brake. You got it squeaking. They lost my business on my tire replacement and my struts due to their inability to correct their wrong and take responsibility to correct it. Always some excuse and always the squeaking comes back. I just dont have time to spend every day taking it in and trying to have the problem fixed hence the noting in the computer. This way I should show history.

I needed my brakes fixed right away. They were able to fit me in and had me going again in a couple of hours. Polite service and I thought the price to fix my problem was good. There is also food close by if you want to eat while they work on your car or they have a waiting room.

I wouldnt recommend this place. They didnt honor coupons and then the price they gave me when I called was not the price I was charged. I wish I could find a trustworthy car repairman, this is not them.

After a quick check, a mechanic told me I needed either a new starter or alternator. Getting a 2nd opinion, I learned I only needed a new battery! This happened almost a year ago, & Ive had no starting issues since.

They stayed late on a Friday night so I could drop off my truck after work, got my brakes diagnosed and repaired on Saturday, reasonable charges, and very helpful. I would definitely use them again.

Similar experience some others have had. Went in for an oil change, which I scheduled on line. Thought I was going to be able to use an online coupon for a $19.95 oil change. I arrived and they stated they did not have the right oil and filter to do the job. They sent me to buy my own supplies next door to ORielly Auto Parts. Spent $48 for oil and filter and then they ended up still charging me $19 for the labor. Wont go back

Would give 0 stars if I could! Avoid this place at all costs!Had a hose burst and lost water. Took it to Brake Masters-I wish I had read the reviews first.Charged me over $200, took my car home and found a huge puddle under my car the next morning.Took it back and they charged me more for a NEW problem.$600 later I left with a working car-but not happy and feeling like I was cheated and lied to.I will NEVER return there. BEWARE.

Front desk worker said they did machine work, so I brought in a flywheel (assuming they had the right equipment). Ignorant moron wanted to resurface my flywheel on a BRAKE lathe.
