This was my first time here. And I really like the atmosphere but with high ceiling, loud noise catches your attention. But 10/10 would recommend 👌
Beautiful location and building. Food is excellent. Love gift shop etc. Wines are to taste. Give it a try. Sure you will be back.
Took a little trip from Mount Vernon to Lexington to try the cafe and it was definitely worth it. Although we didn’t have the chance to pick our own berries, we were able to try their blueberry pie and blueberry lemonade which in itself; made the whole trip! Such a beautiful venue inside the cafe, cute gift shop, and friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
The patch is great, but I think this place is still working out the kinks in the restaurant. Everything was good, but not great. The food and servers left something to be desired (everything felt a little awkward), but we really enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate what they are trying to create! We need to keep leaving reviews so that they can iron out the details and make this a really stellar spot 😊
Great atmosphere for a quiet lunch, wonderful food and sweet gift shop.Found this place when looking for outdoor venues to meet up with family during the Covid closures and have visited multiple times. Always have had wonderful service and yummy food.
We pick blueberries here every year (and drive from Columbus to do it).Staff: kid-friendly and helpful, especially the folks at the outdoor desk.Space: beautiful, with acres of berries in several varieties.Highly recommend. Its the best weve found for blueberry picking in Ohio.
A really fun store. People are friendly and helpful. They also have a restaurant
This was the first time I had been to the new building. It was very impressive. I picked my own blueberries for a pie, and I grabbed some wine and things from the shop. I look forward to having the opportunity to try 1285 soon.
Very disappointed! No cafe. Have to wait for table in winery. No blueberry muffins!!! We make what we make was response! Hundreds of thousands of people at Mid-Ohio this weekend...May be make more than 2 trays?Definitely not improvement! Less items for sale.
You see this nice new building? I bet you wouldn’t have imagined it was paid for by your tax dollars! Well that’s what you get when you screw an electric utility over and the bill gets charged to the tax payers!!
Perfect atmosphere, amazing food and drinks and the staff was wonderful from beginning to end!! Highly recommend going and I will go again!!
Awesome wines, good food. Beautiful new building right off the freeway
Wine is delicious as well as their blueberry donuts. Beautiful facility . Local gem!
That place is beautiful. Food was good. Service was prompt. And the wine was great!
The food is great but the service is terrible, dirty tables and servers that never come to your table to get your order even if the restaurant is not full and there is a lot of servers. Disappointing.
First time visiting. Wine was great. Beautiful building.
Just a wonderful experience all around. We had a fun, attentive server. Food was excellent and the music was great!
I have been here a few times and no complaints. But today we celebrated our 29th Anniversary with family. The sangria wine wasnt available, Moscow mule wasnt available, the bathroom had no soap to wash my hands, the waitress never came to our table except to take order and bring food, then found out they had a gratuity tip already with our expensive not so well dinner. It will be a long time before I go back agian.
Unique dining experience. One of a kind. Food was good and service was exceptional.
Had a really good first experience at thr gift shop. The lady there was very helpful and kind. Mrs. Roberts. Will be back for lunch sometime in the future.
I bought the big container of blueberries and they were wrinkled and mushy. I asked for a credit for half a bucket on my next purchase. One woman said she would if they had some when I came as I live 45 minutes away and wasnt running right over there. And if they didnt then oh well. She put the owner on the phone and he said I had to come today or tomorrow or forget it. He said they guarantee nothing and I told him I lived out of town he did not care. I said I would not come back if they didnt make it right. He said ok and hung up. Very rude people who could care less about your purchase or customers. I was a long time customer, but will not be going back. 40 bucks for a bucket that half were thrown out. If you want rotten blueberries and to be disrespected then go here.
The new building is awesome! Perfect place for a date night. Try the lavender gin sour it’s excellent. You won’t regret stopping here it’s a treasure!
They were out of blueberry ice cream. Perfect place for my blueberry loving family
Nice place. Long wait at the winery though.
My husband and I decided to take a trip here since weve never been here before and what a great choice that was. Had a wonderful experience and looking forward to visiting again in the future.
Would be great if handicap and those with mobility issues could access it. Not sure how you overlook something like that in planning such a large new building.
A very pretty farm. The market next to the farm has lovely goods, fresh fruits from the farm, blueberry pies, etc.Blueberry picking can be enjoyed from the latter half of July to the end of August. There are other times when you can pick raspberries as well.
Went for a late lunch and for some blueberry picking. Overall the food was ho-hum and overpriced for what it was. I had the Panni pizza which was basically soggy bread and cheese, and extra for pepperoni, which I think I got like 6 for the 2$ upcharge, (mind you the small pepperonis)my son had a pbj sandwich, the only other option was grilled cheese for kiddos. My sis had a grinder, Again nothing to make me want to come back. We did get a variety of donuts to take home, the blueberry cake donut was really good as well as the long John and cinnamon twist. I did get a bottle of the best seller wine blueberry Bliss, Im not really a fan but to each their on, Im more of a Moscato girl. Blueberry picking was just that, my kiddo enjoyed it and we have a freezer full of berries.
Beautiful space for events, good wines.
New building, same good food, beverages and service. Recommended!
Slow service, but great food. I believe it was slow due to short staffing (thanks COVID).
Came here with my family of 5. They had 1 waitress serving 10 tables, cashing out, bussing tables, and being a hostess along with a vestibule of customers at 1:00 PM not ready for lunch crowd. Disappointed.
Lovely place, great food, fun experience! Only downside for us is that they didnt have a changing table for our toddler.
On site restaurant, winery, and cafe! The employees were very sweet and helpful.. And the blueberries...yummmm
Terrible service. Ok food. Our pork was undercooked numerous times even after sending it back. Not a good experience. Service was absolutely atrocious.
Todays Beach Party was a Fail.. Not even any beach music piped in...the only thing that might make you think of the beach were the decorations. Sorry Blueberry Patch.
Enjoyed the food and the beverages!
Absolutely beautiful location. Super friendly staff. Amazing gift shop with mountains of Vera Bradley. Very comfortable atmosphere and ambiance. Will definitely make this a regular place for me and the family
Great food sit back and relax.
Great Atmosphere, Food especially the pizzas, Entertainment, Customer Service & the merchandise is a wide array of spectacular choices. Blueberry donuts, Blueberry Wine & Blueberry Preserves keeps you coming back for more. Everyone should definitely attend the Lexington Blueberry Festival is a definite place to go. ENJOY, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED . OH & for family fun Go Blueberry Picking. Also enjoy incredible unique plants & herbs
Love this place!!Great experience every time!
Absolutely unique, wonderful wine, very small portions with a very large price.....awesome gift shop.
Cozy environment, beautiful outdoor seating. The food was delicious! If you go you M U S T get a blueberry muffin!
Blueberry glazed donuts are the best. Cafe has good sandwich’s and soup. Relaxing atmosphere. Will go back for the winery.
Cozy and warm by the pizza fireplace. Pizza is delicious!
Excellent food!!
We had the worst experience in this place. The owner treated us in very rude, disrespectful and prejudiced way. Driving two hours to encounter this unworthy kind of people who want to charge you a hundred bucks if you or ur kids eat blueberries while picking isnt worth it at all. Be careful!
Lovely place for lunch!
Always fun looking at all the neat thing they have to offer.
This is a wonderful place to go for lunch. They feature homemade quiche, salads and soups as well as muffins. They also offer grinders and gluten free options. They have homemade desserts that change weekly and are wonderful. The tea selection is impressive and is served got or cold. You can browse the shop while you wait for lunch or even buy a whole homemade blueberry pie!
The Blueberry Patch has always been a fun place to go to pick your own blueberries. The addition of a winery has taken a place charming in its own right and made it much more appealing. Its drink list includes both well known and local wines. The dining area looks and feels like a converted barn and that adds to the charm of dining or just hanging out here. There is also room for local artists to perform. The seating accommodations bring you up close to the artists. But there is also plenty of room to sit away from the entertainment while still enjoying it.
Their wine is fantastic 😋 Loved the Raspberry, and Cranberry. Bought some Blueberry to try next.
Lots to choose from for Christmas shopping. Fast friendly service.
Great food, great service
Wonderful, the food and the ambiance was truly amazing. The service was also awesome.
Employees are kind and helpful but the owner is a real piece of work. My car broke down in their parking lot, I spent 20 minutes trying to fix it before he drove up and told me I needed to tow it because “this isn’t a repair lot.” Used to shop their for most of my gardening supplies but definitely won’t go back, if only for the fear of my car breaking down in their lot again.
The best service and a wonderful patio had friends from out of town great time
Skip the big store bakeries. If youre looking for the best for pastries, this is it. Cream sticks actually have weight to them, and donuts and fritters are enormous. Ive never seen such big pastry items for a decent price. Food is also delicious. Give it a try. It is worth it.
Friendly people,great wine,relaxing atmosphere,food is wonderful! A must see!
Tried out blossoms cafe. Service was extremely slow, soup was ice cold when served. Had to finally ask someone if we could pay since no one was paying attention. Won’t be coming back. Shame because it is a cute place.
A nice, somewhat hidden gem. Great wine bar and cozy dining area with a separate cafe for lunch. They roast their own coffee and will even do custom roasts and flavors. Blueberry picking is great for kids and is a unique activity that everyone enjoys. And make sure to try a blueberry donut!
Was disappointed that Blueberry picking is done for season. We came from Dayton, and was looking forward to a good picking time. But, we share the burden... we should have called rather than relying on web site. The place is really great. Picked there a few years ago and got a bite to eat and it was great. Staff are super. We will plan better next year.
Love this place! I could spend all day there! Lunch is always great no matter what we order. Our server said he was new there but you would have never known. He was one of the nicest and most efficient servers ever!
Doughnuts were good, but quiche had bacon in it, and wasnt labeled as such. Im a vegetarian, so that was a pretty big bummer.
Love the Blueberry Patch for lunch, dinner, and the gift shop!! :-)
My 2 sisters and I visited the cafe in August and everything we ordered was delicious! Actually, mouthwatering. We all agreed we would return. (We are from Findlay, OH.) Then in October I had the chance to take 2 friends from Findlay there for a day trip to see the leaves and rolling countryside--again, the food and service was superb. Steve, the owner chatted with us about the wines he made--one of my friends is quite knowledgeable on the subject--and after tasting 3 wines, she agreed that he really knew his stuff AND how to concoct great wines. Very enjoyable visit--we all are planning to return.
Service was awful
So charming and the Zinfandel is awesome!
We had a very pleasant lunch on the patio the food was very good servers very friendly and attentive
First time there. Love it. Had coffee and a donut. Very good! Found an ornament that I was searching for. Its going to Montana.
Food was great
Very NICE, huge and fun for the family. Not the cheapest option for blueberries, but the FUNNEST!!!!!!! Will do it again ...... SOON!!!
Great drinks, very good pizza and amazing blueberry fritters
Ate at the cafe and picked blueberries. Would give the cafe 2 stars and the blueberry picking 4 stars. The blueberry bushes were full with plump ripe blueberries. We spent an hour picking and came away with plenty. The food at the cafe was okay, but it took forever, like 40 minutes to get our food. They werent even that busy. The waitress felt bad and comped us some blueberry donuts. I appreciated the thought, but Im not changing my review for that. We did not try the wine bar.
Kids loved it. Food was good
Was there for the first time and a very nice experience. Definitely going back. People very friendly, great music from a trio, wonderful food and tried every wine. Really liked them all!
They have the best blueberry donuts. Youll also find a wide variety of gifts for the lady/gardener in your life. Ill be back to purchase some blueberry bushes.
I am really surprised by these bad reviews. I was very happy with the service, the wine, and the food. Its a charming place. Really excellent wine....not what I expected from a local winery. A most pleasant lunch experience.
Great food, Great wine, Great service, GREAT PLACE TO COME AND ENJOY !!!!
Great food, love the gift shop and the atmosphere. Cant wait to try other menu items!
The Blueberry Patch is a nice restaurant, good service and great tasting food. I ordered a Philly Grinder. I expected a Grinder. A Grinder for 13.00 is not tiny. A handful of meh.. chips, and a tiny souffle cup of broccoli salad made the presentation meh...Blueberry Patch, if youre reading this, dont send customers away hungry after ordering a grinder.Better yet, melt the cheese on a philly! Youre using prime rib, why use hot dog buns and slices of cheese when you have a brick oven? I assumed you knew the difference between meh.. and great. After all you have a brick oven, why are you not tossing super quality grinders?Get real submarine buns. Toss the bun and prime rib in the brick oven and melt that cheese all over the place. Serve it hot and big. You have an awesome place. Dont let meh.. food make it to a customer table!
Cute place, but I don’t appreciate the confusion about their wine bar. We were told it didn’t open until 4, but we can get glasses of wine or bottles in the cafe. The kid (who is the only reason they get two stars) who waited on us gave us menus. Unbeknownst to us the menu was from the wine bar. We see they have a flight listed, so we each order one. The kid consulted with his manager and I heard the woman we originally asked say “I told them they can’t until 4!” She was very accusatory and rude when we had no idea the menu he gave us wasn’t the cafe menu.
Excellent service, food and drinks!
Awesome place
Stopped in for lunch after reading all wonderful ads about their new cafe and winery. Our waitress was, clean looking, and friendly, but Im pretty sure she was also the one to prepare our meal and dessert after taking our orders. This was strange and made me uncomfortable about the food quality there. The tuna melt was sour tasting which I figure was from the cheap runny mayo used, as there was no seasoning in it.It did have a couple slices of pale Roma tomatoes slices on it with a sprinkle of dried basil. The Swiss cheese slice on it was too thin to even taste. This was a let down as they advertised the lunch menu as a and fresh meal choice, and it was a fancy written menu.I thought the tuna melt would have fresh basil leaves on it with a nicely seasoned tuna salad. It was prepared on a thick slice of cheap white Texas bread and set under a broiler. It was served with kettle potato chips.(Which is bad to have to mention were the best part of the meal) The broccoli salad was made with nice pieces of broccoli but had some cheap tasting mayo over it. The tea cups we drank from, were not clean. Mine was stained and dirty from tea. I know if you wash dishes in a hot dishwasher they come clean so these cups must not have been washed in a dishwasher,or they were washed with cold water. The blueberry pie was not as expected either. I thought they made it from scratch there since they are a Blueberry establishment. It was factory made with the thick, jelly style canned berries. The place is a nice gift shop for gift buying, but sitting around in a cafe area that has dirty and dusty glassware nick knacks they are trying to sell, with people shopping and peeking over your shoulder as they shop, was not a pleasant time. The seat cushions were also filthy. Food crumbs were on many of them that we had to brush off just to sit down. Some cushions were even hanging half off the chairs as if the employees didnt even notice. I guess you cant expect any better since it is a greenhouse and greenhouses are dirty..They have the right idea for a cafe but they need to educate themselves in cleanliness and hire a good chef if serving food. When we were leaving, they were starting the pizza oven up for dinner hour, and we could not believe the bad wood smoke smell filling the greenhouse up. It looked as if their oven was not vented properly which explains why the terrible wood smoke smell was in the air. Our party will not eat there again.
We have on many occasions spent an evening at the Blueberry Patch with friends and relatives enjoying the entertainers of the evening and the delicious different kinds of wine and pizzas and of course the waiters and waitresses pleasant personalities.
Wonderful place for dinner!
What a delicious lunch!!! Great food selections ♡♡♡ Plus did some early Christmas shopping. Unique gifts for everyone! Loved it ♡♡♡
We ordered an oven Fired Pizza it was very good my wife had a glass or two of blueberry Bliss wine excellent
The Blueberry Doughnuts were awesome. Lisa the owner was very nice and very helpful
This is a review for 1285 winery... We are there last night and our experience was terrible. We didnt get a chance to order drinks for at least 15 minutes after we sat down. And fyi unless you like wine they offer nothing else alcoholic to drink. Big turnoff for the guys in our party. We had to try the new pizzas they were raving about and honestly they were very poorly executed. Our waitress, who was also the owner, messed up our order and when she brought the pizzas out they were cold. Im not exaggerating even a little. They were also extremely undercooked. The cheese hadnt even had a chance to melt together. Anyone who knew what they were doing would have never served those. After that we waited very long periods of time before our drinks were refilled and after we got the check our waters were never refilled even though we sat and talked for 20 minutes or so before we left. We wont be going back. We left there and went to another restaurant so we could get some hot food and good drinks.
