I honestly do not know another place where id rather electrical components.Recently I just got into refurbishing vintage audio gear on a hobbyist level, and really, without Mouser I dont think I would be as involved with it as I am right now.Of course, I can find Capacitors or whatever from any other store but the simplicity and thoroughness of Mousers web order system is just amazing.My order arrived in 3 days and the prices are pretty much unbeatable.Thanks Mouser!

This company doesnt care at all about its employees. Its all a facade. 3 years ago my wife started having severe back pain while working on the job and over time it got worse and worse but the managers didnt care at all. She used up all her pto hours going to appointments trying to get if figured out and their only option was if she took 1 more day off of work shed be fired. Not even 2 days later she was having emergency back surgery on her lower discs slipping. Even the insurance she did have with mouser was trying to deny all the payments because she didnt work there anymore. This is not an environment anyone should be put through. If only they would have cared sooner

Order was supposed to ship on a particular day, guaranteed to be delivered a particular day.They created the shipping label THE DAY AFTER it was supposed to ship, then let it linger through the whole weekend and all of Monday before actually shipping the item, ON THE DAY IT WAS DUE.Yes, they finally shipped it the day they guaranteed it would be here, imposing an unnecessary 4 day delay on the order.First and last order from these fools, thats for sure. Mouser is a beloved symbol among the electronic makers and fixers of the world as a place where you can find anything, find it for ridiculously cheap, and get it to your door in record time. All the little things like capacitors, plugs, and IC chips, that are not available at Radio Shack or Frys, are somewhere on Mousers shelves, for pennies on the dollar, just a few clicks away from hurtling towards your doorstep. The website can be dangerous, you may spend hours browsing things you didnt know existed, and finding things you didnt know you needed. Oh look, for a few cents more, I can build my blinky LED project with military grade components, and it will be rated for space flight even though it will only ever sit on my desk. Or the plethora of different semiconductors that will simplify your existing design, I didnt know they made a chip that did that, that will make my circuit so much simpler!. The availability of datasheets is another big plus.At some point, I realized that Mousers facilities were located in Mansfield, TX, just a 20 minute drive from me. Now I could place an order and pick it up from WillCall at their warehouse, ready in an hour after placing the order. As someone who checks the tracking number on shipments ten times a day, like a child waiting for Christmas, the instant gratification of picking my order up in an hour cant be explained in words. The staff was always amazing, if I was a few minutes early, they would dispatch someone to literally run the parts to WillCall for my convenience.And so it came to pass, that years later, I now work for Mouser Electronics. Im just a bean counter at the bottom of the pecking order, but it is a fantastic company to work for. The pay is great, but the big thing is the way that they treat us employees. We have amazing benefits, plenty of paid vacation, bonuses based on the companys performance, paid holidays off, many opportunities for advancement as they typically internally promote, and lots of other perks. An example is that on my Birthday, I received a Birthday card in the mail signed by all the members of management. Likewise, I received a signed card when my grandfather passed away. Its also the only large company Ive worked for where you will regularly get opportunities to meet the executives running the company and share your thoughts and opinions. Several of the Vice-Presidents and members of the Board of Directors will often walk around the warehouse, stopping to talk to the multitudes of employees to ask them for insights on how they feel the company or management is performing, how things could be be improved. To me this last point is huge, its a level of humility and intelligence which is rare among multi-billion dollar companys, that they value the opinions and ideas of all their employees.Ive also had the ability as an employee to see how the operation works. Every order is handled with the same care and precision whether the parts are going into an F-22 fighter jet, or Bob Johnsons useless machine. Everything is handled and packaged to strict standards. I did the math once, you have roughly the same odds to get into a fatal car accident every time you drive as to receive an incorrect order from Mouser, and you are roughly as likely to be in an airplane crash everytime you fly as to receive your shipment late. Let that sink in for a moment, Mouser holds the timeliness of your shipment to higher standards than the airline company does the risk of airplanes crashing.And so, whether you are looking for that last elusive component you need to finish building a rocket ship in your garage, or just looking for a great place to start a career, Im going to suggest Mouser Electronics with 5 stars. Ive seen it from the outside, and now from the inside, and I can tell you that it is top notch.
