I have gone MR. Tire, formerly Monroe Muffler regularly for oil changes and winterization. The staff has been friendly, courteous and are knowledgeable about the cars Ive brought to them over the years. Their newest emphasis on and specialty in tire care and service makes and already good car service great!

I’ve been going here for about a year now. I always get excellent service there. Paul the manager is a very nice gentleman. He always has a smile on his face. Keep up the good work guys!

Coming through the area from out of town. Called ahead and was quoted $70 for full synthetic oil change. I found a coupon on their OWN website for $15 off. Arrived for my oil change, presented the coupon and suddenly the cost for the synthetic oil change was $85. With my coupon? $70. Shady AF.

I just bought 4 tires from Firestone about a month ago. I picked up a nail and I got attitude and told I needed an appointment for the next day. The gentlemen at Mr. Tire took me in right away and fixed it in about 10 mins. They are awesome and will never go to Firestone again. Thanks Mr. Tire

Had my check engine light come on, took it here to get diagnosed and repaired. I spoke with Andrew who said it was my O2 sensor that needed replaced. Picked it up a day later and within a few days my check engine light was back on. When I called to bring it in, the light had disappeared. I spoke with Andrew again who said they could not do anything if the light wasnt on so I decided to wait. My light came back on just a few days later after that and then disappeared so something was obviously not right. I called again and spoke with Andrew who said their technician was on vacation and he wouldnt be able to 100% diagnose the problem while he was out of the building to which I replied that I would have to call someone else then to get it fixed, Andrew then hung up on me before I could say anything else. Came across extremely rude and unprofessional to me.

Store Manager Andrew J. is so unprofessional. I went in to have a 02 sensor replaced. He talked to me so rude, then he was cursing slamming stuff, hit the the door slamming it open. Even raising his voice to his employee that made my appointment. As long as he is Manager or works at that store I will not be back. I ask for my car keys and sensor and left the store without having the work done! Have also reported him to corporate office. Very unprofessional Manager!!

Big, big thanks to Mr. Tire. Blew a tire last night and made my way to a nearby hotel. Another local tire place listed 7am as their open time but when I showed up they said 8. I found Mr. Tire and their 7:30 open but when I arrived the employee unlocked the doors, let me in from the cold, took a look at my tires and immediately got to work. Ive never written a Google review before but absolutely felt obligated to do so based on how well they took care of me. Thanks again

I made a pit-stop off the highway to get gas and noticed my exhaust was hanging. I made it over to Monroe and they were extremely helpful in getting it fixed so I could get back on the road. Highly recommend Monroe, this location and its staff! Excellent customer service!

I cant believe how unprofessional this place is. We made a Appointment last week for Saturday at 3:30pm. We told the girl on the phone we are buying & picking up a truck Saturday and it needs tires balanced before we made the 3 and a half hour trip back home to Kentucky because it shimmy shacks after 45 mph. We arrived several minutes early on Saturday to be told, No we cant get our tires balanced because he was the only one working & the other people went fishing. No cars in the bays the guy went on sweeping water out of the bays. We called around desperate to get our truck tires balanced and couldnt find anything in the area at last minute, this is why we pre planned a appointment... So now we have to drive the truck home as is. Very Disappointed, I would take my business elsewhere and find a dependable tire shop.

I had a wonderful experience here! The assistant manager, Bobby, accommodated my crazy work schedule and still managed to get me an appointment in for after the time I got off work!! He even stayed after hours to finish up. I got all 4 brand new tires on my car and he put my hub caps back on. Very impressed and satisfied with the work done here at this shop! 5/5 star review and would definitely recommend to any family and friends! Thank you Monro & all of your great employees!!! :)

Rolled down newly tinted windows. Left oil smudges in the inside in the drivers seat. Charged me $759 to get brake pads and new routers.

With all this COVID-19 madness going on it was great to be able to call into this store and not only get reliable and fast service, excellent customer service, knowledge, understanding and a great price. The assistant manager Randy was outstanding and glad he sold me on the warranty for my new tires I will definitely recommend him to everyone and go to this store in the future

Went there for a basic oil change, went to go and pick my truck up and was told my brake lines blew. I had good brakes before dropping it off and now somehow my lines blew while my truck was in their hands. Tried to tell me it wasn’t their fault and wanted to charge $700 to replace. Worse customer service ever from them, not very knowledgeable at what they are doing.

I was driving home from Cleveland to Columbus when I got a flat tire on 71. It was about 6:00 PM when I got to Firestone right down the street from Montro Auto Service. When I got there with my jeep I asked the Manager if he could look at my car. I have a flat tire and I need to get home. The Manager looked at me and said I am sorry, but we have cars in front of you and we will not have time to look at your jeep today. The Manager didnt even look at my jeep on the tow truck to see how long it would take to fix. He was also dusting tires in the show room. I was completely shocked. So, quickly I googled who else is open and can help me. I went down the road to Monro Auto Service and quickly Bryan said he could look at my car. Bryan stayed open after hours to repair my tire and make sure that it was fixed. I couldnt believe the difference in customer service. I highly recommend Monroe Auto Service and ask to work with Bryan if you can. I made it back to Columbus around 9:30 PM completely exhausted, but so grateful for a complete strangers random act of kindness.

Was able to get our car back on the road same day. Came a little later but they were willing to work later at closing time to make sure they put a new tire on our vehicle and got us back on the road!!! Great customer service!!!

Came in for my appointment and could instantly see a clean shop. Service was pretty quick, had an alignment and 2 new tires put on in under an hour. Amazing service; worked with me on the issues of my vehicle and a fair price. They are professional and put out quality work.

Had 2 appointments for oil changes today and both appointments were quick and easy, they seemed busy but I still received excellent customer service from Ian and Bobby. Would 10 out of 10 recommend going to them. Made getting an oil change beyond easy.

If you’re looking for an honest opinion about the condition of your vehicle this is the place! Another shop told me my breaks were bad and wanted to charge me 300 dollars! Went to Monro and Austin figured out that it was just a dust shield rubbing my rotor! Fixed my noise and refused payment... told me if I could leave a review of my experience so that folks know there are still honest mechanics in Mansfield would be payment enough! Well Austin here it is!

Was lucky to find this place when I got a flat tire. They were open early thank God. The staff was super helpful, they tried to patch it, but it was too far gone. They quickly replaced the tire we were on our way. A+++

Super impressed with these guys! Shops extremely clean, customer service was superb and the all around experience was a delight. Not the usual headache I’m use to dealing with when going to a shop for repairs. Also the manager Gary exceeds expectations as a manager and makes the expirence as hassle free as possible.

Had to bring my car back multiple times to be fixed and was overcharged $400. First,E had new brakes put on, but had to return 3 straight times bc they were screeching so bad. Then needed a new back wheel bearing but was overcharged. Picked up the car and the abs traction light was on. Was told to drive it 20 miles and it would go off. It didnt so I had to bring it back again. Tech plugged it into the computer and tried telling me it was a stored code and the light was on BEFORE I brought it in which it wasnt. Had to come back again. They had ordered a part for a car with park assist which I didnt have, so they had to reorder the right part. I was not refunded the difference between parts ($20-$30) The workers blamed each other. The manager Bryan was the only bright spot. He inherited the mess but did his best to fix the situation. I played phone tag with the customer service dept. We exchanged voicemails, but I emailed them several times fully detailing all the problems. They never acknowledged any of them. Taking my car into another Monroe for an oil change, will never go to this one again!!

Extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this place. I have gone here periodically through the years to get my oil changed and never had any problems. I recently needed an oil change and was having problems with my steering wheel shaking when I drive. I made an appointment and told the guy at the desk I needed an oil change and also about my steering wheel. They had a special going on for oil change and alignment and I asked if I could do that. When I picked my car up the guy who did the work said my alignment was not bad (they still did the work anyways) and when I left the wheel was still shaking. I called and they stated to bring it back the next day. They then stated my wheels were very out of balance and I may need new tires. I asked if they could tell me what was wrong with my current tires and they stated they couldnt see any problems and my wheel was still shaking a little so the tires were likely the issue. I took my car to another auto repair place to get a second opinion to find out that one of my tires had a belt broke and the tread is essentially gone on 3 out of 4 of my tires. Im going today to have them put new tires on. Every mechanic I have spoke with has told me that they should never have done an alignment on my car with my tires in the condition they are in. I will not be going back to Monroe for ANY future services and likely would have bought my new tires from them had they done the right thing in the first place.

Thousands of dollars and over a month total time in their shop, and still having issues. Great guys, very friendly and helpful, but what I really need is a safe vehicle without problems. Just gonna go to dealership. I cant afford to come here anymore....

Gary changed my front and rear brakes. He was very kind and courteous. I was in and out in no time.My daughter is a customer here who has experiencedthe same wonderful treatment.

My boyfriend took his Jeep there today because he had a flat tire, they got us right in. Ian was extremely helpful and gave us great service! We greatly appreciated it, and would definitely go to Monro to see him again!

I go for a oil change ( 3-11-19) and they claim they couldnt change it because my drain plug was stripped in they couldnt get anything around the plug to remove it. So I take my van to my uncle in he said all yall had to do was use a pair of vice grips, he was able to remove the stripped plug with no problem. I just find it funny how it was three people in the shop in no one could get it off. And by the way I dont need a new oil pan just to remove a stripped plug. After I was told in order to remove the plug I would need a new oil pan. This use to be a great place to get a oil chnage, but since the accident in the reopen it have went down hill.

I was driving my friends car home a couple states away when we got a flat tire. Many of the closest tire repair shops had 2+ hours of wait time. We never would have made it back to our home town on time for work at that rate. Finally we came across Monroe’s and they serviced her tire immediately. There was no wait time. We saved money using a coupon and then they even assisted putting the tire back on without expecting further payment. Decently priced, friendly employees, and very helpful. I definitely would go back to them if I lived anywhere near Mansfield, Ohio.

Went there to get my tailpipe fixed and didn’t even have an appointment, they were able to get me in and out quickly and were all very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.10/10

Imagine driving down the street and hearing a weird noise. You drive for a while and the noise persists. You hit a bump and to your horror you hear a meow. Well thats what happened to me. Somehow a kitten found its way into my engine compartment. For the life of me I couldnt figure it out. My office is just down the street from Monro on Park Ave so I figured Id head there on the chance that A) I was dreaming, B) they could extract this phantom cat unscathed. When I got there Scott came right out to greet me, and I told him my crazy situation. He looked at me and said lets see what we can do. After crawling under my car and removing some bolts, the kitten jumped out. The end....... NOPE! The kitten then ran to the back of my car and jumped in the wheel well. I couldnt make this up if I tried. Undeterred Scott and another tech were able to finally get the kitten. She was a little dirty but other than that she was fine. They were even able to find a good home for here. Just WOW.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They give you discounts for 5 star reviews (done before they do the car work) and thats the ONLY reason they have positive reviews. I brought my car in for an oil change and was told I needed parts I really didnt need. They quoted me a price and when I went back to have the work done, the price had doubled. When I asked the manager (who wasnt there the day before) why the price had increased so much, he got an attitude and argued that the cost of the part was over $80. FOR A TIE ROD. A $30 part. The part was supposed to be there that morning, I called on my way in and they hadnt ordered it yet but said they would right then. When I got there 20 minutes later, they still hadnt started ordering the part. Then told me upon arrival that they couldnt get the part for another 5 hours. So I took it to a different shop, got ball joints replaced, all 4 new tires, an alignment, and DIDNT get a tie rod, because I didnt need it.

Would reccomend for sure. These guys fit me in at the end of the day in a pinch and were super fast, understanding, and kind! My fromt brake pads were totally disintegrated and they had them and the rotors replaced in an hour and a half!

Very unsatisified with my visit. Went for a oil change and tire rotation. Went to sign in and the guy called the other guy in and was talking to him stating that my car took synthetic oil but they only had 2 quarts and that wasnt enough. They went ahead and changed the oil obviously using the wrong kind and not synethic because they stated they didnt have enough of what I needed. When I get my oil changed it stays at 99% at least 3 months due to it being synethic oil and not needed changed as much. Sure enough after this visit the percentage starts droping. Its been a week and already at 94% which tells me they did not use synethic oil. Instead of simplyly explaining they were out and I would have rescheduled, they used the cheaper oil and not what was needed in my car. When they were done they pulled my car out and I asked them if they rotated the tires which I knew they didnt because I was watching. He said I didnt know that needed done. I had specifically asked when I checked in to have the tires rotated. I was told not to come to this business but did any ways because I never had a issue until this visit. I will not be returning and will make sure to tell others about my experience also. I also called this company and emailed and never got a response back.

Horrible service, no fluid checks, grease only after you remind them you would like the Lube part of the Oil Lube Filter, they greased without wiping any of the old grease off the zirk first. Asked for a brake inspection, brakes were screeling, they looked at the disks without removing tires. They said brakes were fine, wanted to charge me over 150.00 to pull tires and look at brakes correctly. This shop gives a whole new meaning to low expectations. Oh, and 1 qt of conventional oil 5.$Where have the good honorable shops gone??

We own a Mercedes, not only is their assistant manager a Mercedes tech but they were very accommodating and understanding of our frustration with another location. This store and their employees have earned our loyalty and business for life! We will gladly drive the 30-45 minutes to come here!

My battery in my car died and seen a monroe van and walked up and asked if they could jump my car. They said yes. John was his name. Very helpful. Will be going there for all of my car needs in the future.

We had a hole in our tire. They patched it up within an hour of our arrival. Brian was incredibly helpful and friendly.

I requested an appointment online for oil change the following night and went next day and appointment was not booked,BUT they took my car in anyways. It took 20 min in and out with speedy service they also suggested better oil as my car is over 100,000 miles. Sadly had to find a new oil change place due to Walmart giving me such bad service lately!

I came on the Humble and they helped me as soon as I pulled up. They were very fast, polite, and professional ! I would recommend Monro 405 to anyone who needs work done on their car!

Got wheel bearings replaced here and had some other problems but they worked with me on getting it fixed and ready to go in a timely manner. They were very nice and courteous, I very much do recommend this place.

Service was the best.! Bobby, Ian, and John went above and beyond today in service. Today I was heading back to college (ohio northern university) from Akron Oh when my muffler broke only a few miles away. So at 9am this morning I drove up asking what they could do. They were able to fully repair the muffler. They also helped me find a great dinner to work at while I waited for the part to come in. If you come to Monro muffler and brakes in mansfield Bobby, John and Ian can get the work done with great service. Hopefully if i ever break down I will break down near them.

This place has always treated me good, 20 or so years I’ve been going here and they’ve never mistreated me. Fair people, fair pricing, it’s a win for everyone.

Stopped in because my car was making weird noises and didnt wanna go. If I could get this place a zero star rating I would. I went to go get my breaks checked and done which the man on the phone stated that it would be around $200-$300 over the phone. I went for a check and they called me telling me that my front and back breaks were completely gone as well as my rotors. That it would cost about $900 to do the work. I told the man over the phone that there is no way that I could afford that and that is not what I was quoted to begin with. He started to then get an attitude and state that if I dont pay and they do the work they have a right to hold my car. I informed him that I never told him to touch my car fixing wise. I asked the man several questions like any person that doesnt know anything about cars and he started to get an attitude with me. I then asked to call him back so that I could talk to my husband about this and he hung up the phone immediately. Sadly I had to wake up my husband who mind you was in pain and go over this with him. I then called Monro back and asked them to take my car down and the nicer man said okay will do. I ended up calling around to see if anyone was able to do the work for cheaper because that cost was outrageous. Everyone quoted lower prices then this place. Luckily a friends dad said that he was able to do it for $40 as long as I bought the parts. I went to Auto Zone and got the parts for about $250 and went to my friends dads home.TELL ME WHY it took two man to take off the lug nuts? They air compressed them so tight!!! I have had my tires changed and they have NEVER done them that tight. Well when we were struggling to get the lug nuts off my friend called Monro to ask them how to get the off. The same guy that got on the phone with me quoting the $900 got nasty with her stating that we should be able to get them off without a problem if we knew what we were doing. She stated that they would put on so tight that it nobody was able to take them off. Her dad got on the phone letting them know that this is absurd and the man hung up on him. My friend then called them back and she asked for a manager. The same man that has been giving an attitude to us all day stated that he was a manager but wouldnt state his name and told her to calm down. She then disconnected the call. So yes after that mess we finally got them off with the help of her dads neighbor.NOW yes it did take us a few hours to do everything by hand but at least it was done right. My front breaks and rotors were gone like they said but when we got to the back the breaks and rotors were completely fine. We did end up at least changing the breaks but not the rotors because there was nothing wrong with them at all. I ended up taking the rotors back and got $92 back.I spent what around $158 plus the $40 I paid to her dad. So $198. I saved $702 from this place which I do not recommend. Its sad that a 75 year old man had the heart to change my stuff for that much which I appreciate everything that he did. I will never go back to this place. Worse experience ever.

I am disappointed this location. We needed an alignment on one of our vehicles and were on a time crunch, so since these stores are close and we had a coupon, we tried them despite probably knowing better. We called ahead of time for a price and was quoted $84.99 over the phone with no mention of this price being after coupon. When we got the alignment done, we had a $20 coupon but was told after the service was completed that the alignment was normally $104 but they automatically gave everyone the coupon so $84.99 plus tax was the lowest they would go. I could go to several reputable places in town for a $90 alignment and only went to Monro because of the coupon. Im disappointed in their business practices. We wont be doing business with Monro again.
