A large abundance of books, movies, magazines, music and games! Im really unused with their movie collection; its larger than other Barnes & Noble stores. My kids take hours at B&N stores so it is so nice having a place other than the Cafe to sit.The place was clean and books nicely organized. Low staff on a Sunday. One staff claimed they didnt have a kids graphic novel, but I found the whole series.My family would go here again.

I typically borrow books from the library or come by them free or cheap but today I wanted a particular cookbook, hardcopy. Nice stuff, front check out counter could be less cluttered with impulse buy items. This is Barnes and Noble not Dollar Tree. Have some pride. The 2 gentleman cashiers were great.

It has a selection of books, but I must have unique taste in books because I rarely find the books I am looking for.

My favorite thing about this location specifically is that it never feels crowded. Even before the pandemic, it was very chill and remains that way.

Not ultra fond of the new layout but still love going to spend a good hour or two.

I love this book store lots of selections. They will try and order any book you cant find. They will even order DVDs for you. Great coffee shop inside with lots of sweet treats.

Barnes and Noble teamed up with Starbucks because they are the Starbucks of bookstores. Not the best in the world but best in terms of consistency.

I appreciated the help I finding a book I needed. She even gave me a coupon for Starbucks! The only suggestion is, that I am single, maybe do a 50 cent or 1 dollar discount on a coffee drink. Just a thought.My coupon was a buy one, get one free I think., The store was clean and well organized. Sorry. no photos this time.

I bring my nephew for book dates, it is a lot of fun!! Amazing employees, always there to help with a huge smile. We enjoy visiting this Barnes and Nobels.

What to say when words are but too few and too many!Haha since I was a child I have absolutely loved visiting Barnes & Noble. I would say the items can be quite speedy in comparison to anywhere else, but the experience of making your merry way through a land of scholars, stories, and knowledge is so incredibly enchanting! Great place for an inexpensive breakfast and coffee. I stayed and read until my car repairs were completed. Very convenient!

I havent been in the store before. My kids got gift cards and wanted to use them. It was huge in there. I couldnt believe all the different kinds of books, toys, games ect that was in there! It was a little difficult trying to find specific books they were looking for, but overall it was a good experience. It was pretty expensive, so I probably would not go back unless we had gift cards to use.

The checkout was short staffed (1 cashier for like 15 people in line), but the service was friendly! I mainly shop here for music releases and you cant get much better than the selection here without ordering online!!! A must-shop destination if youre going to the River Hills mall.

My granddaughter and I attended a book signing by Kate DiCamillo. Barnes and Noble set everything up conveniently. No one was out of view or hearing distance from the guest. The Starbucks in the store was close for coffee. Kate DiCamillo is just starting her book tour for her new book Louisianas Way Home. Ms DiCamillo was fascinating, interesting and funny. She had a great question/answer period and she signed one book from home, one purchased book and sat for pictures. She also read exerpts. We were thrilled and happy. If you get a chance, go to her book signing too.

Staff is always so helpful and the option are amazing. Love to meet up with friends at the Starbucks coffee shop or enjoy a quite cup. Who doesnt love the smell of books and coffee!!!

Rude staff, when you can buy books online so easily and for cheaper you go to the store for the experience. If staff is bad no reason to go.

It is a Barnes and Noble. They sell books. It is probably just like most other Barnes and Nobles you may have been to. Too bad the mall it is attached to is dying.

Excellent book, vinyl, dvd, and even toy selection. If they dont have it, they can probably order it in. Get a membership that costs less than $30, save 10% on everything, and it will easily pay for itself. Excellent customer service.The Cafe has delicious food and desserts, and they serve Starbucks coffee. (Not to be confused with an actual Starbucks, they only have a limited offering, and you cant use Starbucks gift cards.)

Helpful staff. Lots of variety. Books are reasonable. You can order online and pick up in the store... Sometimes its cheaper that way. If you read a lot then the membership card is a good deal. I believe they also have a college books program, but its been a few years since Ive used that.

Standard issue B&N store. Clean bathrooms. Books are generally all in order. Kids section was a bit in disarray, but thats to be expected. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the latest in literary publications. And if you cannot find what youre looking for, they can conveniently order it for you to be sent to the store at no extra cost.

Seriously a great place, every store Ive been too is the same. Has that wonderful aroma of fresh bindings and paper. They offer board games, vinyls, kids toys and books, even a Starbucks within this Mankato location. Really good customer service

Its a solid Barnes & Noble. Not sure what else I can say, theyre all identical save for the staff working there.This location has a particularly good staff.

I love coming here for a good book, or a cup of coffee. It is a large, quiet bookstore that contrasts the hustle and bustle of the mall around it. The staff are nice, and are always willing to help you find a book, or to just have a conversation with. It is nice to see the staff all have personality, and arent just smiling because they have to.

Definitely understaffed for the holiday season. We wandered around before we found what we were looking for. Not one person approached us to help.When we went to check out, the only cashier was engaged in a personal conversation while we waited.

This Barnes & Noble has a Starbucks coffee shop. It has lots of seating available for reading. It also has a good amount of signed books from all genres. This store has a large childrens section and a stage for reading time. It also has a lot of games and puzzles. There are things here for all ages including if you are looking for something specific or just perusing.

I love a good bookstore. This one is large with a great variety of genres, they also have coffee if youre into that, board games, movies, and other miscellaneous. I only go for the books though. Happy reading everyone!

Had a pleasant experience wandering around the store until checkout where the cashier decided to go full hard pressure sales tactics on getting me to sign up for a membership. Her final crack was Some people just dont want to save money. Ive had a few days to think about it, and I will save money, by purchasing books online and stopping giving money to brick and mortar stores who apparently value their managers disapproval over their customers. Do yourself a favor and do the same, purchasing books online is easier and more relaxed anyway.

I asked once why they charge so much more money to buy a book rather than getting it online. I was told it was because I was paying forprofessional assistance. Why do I have so much trouble finding this professional assistance everyone I go in? I cant find anyone to help most of the time?

Going to a bookstore is a cornerstone of the mall experience, and this visit was enjoyable. Clean, good lighting and more variety of books than you can imagine.

The people here are awesome. Anything your need theyve got it. And the Baristas??? Theyre the bomb! So full of character and personality.
