Extremely high prices and limited selection. In terms of u-haul, the will try to dock you for everything they can, dont care that you actually filled up a bit higher than when you picked up. Luckily just call u-haul and they will refund what they charge, as the lady said they have to do so often from this location. To avoid hassle just drop off elsewhere in town.

The staff is exceptional. I have never had a better experience.

I think thats the only place in the vicinity that can cut a glass and repair storm windows fast and at a reasonable cost.

Seems like a great store. One thing they didnt have on hand was 15A max fuses in a single pack but otherwise took care of our needs.

This is has been my go-to destination for all kinds of hardware and home maintenance needs. They have been dependable for all of the nearly 20 years I have lived in Manhattan. Everything from a home freezer to tools and paint or nuts and bolts. They always have what I need for a fair price. Friendly, helpful staff never fail me when I ask where can I find...

Close so early you cant even come in if you have a job. I guess theres a reason I never came here. And Ill definitely never be back. Useless.

Store keeps a good inventory of what you need from a hardware store plus grills, smokers and grilling supplies. Also Uhaul rentals are available.

Good place to rent a truck, took a while due to the internet being down but other than that very satisfied.

I always go to ACE over other stores for two things. First is that they are an independently owned business, so the money stays more local. Two, and most importantly, its for the customer service. You can always find someone who can help you with your specific needs as opposed to other stores where associates may be less knowledgeable.

Ace hardware stores are always great. I realize that having a U-Haul contract rental system is a pain. The only issue I see is that U-Haul ends up judged by the employees that are tasked with servicing their customers.

They had a product that 4 other stores in town did not have. It will be my first stop in the future!

I dont go in there very often but my husband goes in there much more than I do because he says he can usually find the things he needs in there much better than at Wal-Mart or target. Something as simple as certain types of batteries or other things he may need for fixer uppers for the house. Even home depot dont carry some of that stuff. Like we went to petco to look for batteries for our digs shock collar to keep her from barking so much. But guess what? You can buy the shock collar there but not the replacement batteries. So my husband went to Ace Hardware and they have the batteries. Dont that seem strange that petco sells the collar but not the replacement batteries but Ace Hardware does? Well at least we now know where to go to get the replacement batteries now.

Merv did a great job at assuming I can’t be a manager by my outfit before even confirming, he also couldn’t figure out how to make a key copy, and talked down to me like a child... very professional at not helping what so ever :)

My car key fob broke. I went to Ace Hardware and the employee, I want to say his name was John, walked through all the steps to get it fixed. When that proved impossible (the plastic had broke on it, unfixable) he found a replacement. Initially it was going to be $135 for a whole new fob, but we found a way to get that down to $25. Great service, great place.

I went in to get a screw to replace one that I lost. They were not busy and a sales guy saw me and offered to help. He quickly found the correct screw for me. My experience with the store has been quite varied. Sometimes they are helpful and sometimes not. I think they are the best place in town to go for hardware if you think you might need some help however their prices can be somewhat high.

Very disappointed with my trip on 3/4/20. Initially greeted and offered help. Dennis and another older gentleman working today did not follow through in assisting me so that that I could purchase what I came for. They both pushed me aside to help others. Never returning to follow up. I left the store with nothing even though I know they had what I needed if I could have had help finding it.

I wad at Midwest Ace Hardware store to buy a battery post and terminal cleaner for my car battery.

Rented a U-Haul through here and the lady was very fast and knowledgeable about the process! Was a little frustrated that we were on a timeline and no employees were helping us as they walked by but she went out of her way to help us when she had other things she needed to do. Was back in June so of course forgot her name :/

The person I scheduled the technician with through the store was also great and trief to help me find things that I might be able to check rather than having to have a technician out. Stopped in here to get a few things for a project. Employees were very helpfull and friendly. They assisted me in finding everything I needed quickly. Was in and out in no time and back working on the project.

Over the years I have come to rely on the appliance service team to keep our family running. They are my go-to for parts, have always either had or been able to get anything I need for our drier, diswasher or washer. So glad they are nearby.

Wanted to buy a tool box. They took half an hour to bring the wrong one from the back. I eventually gave up and left.
