Carter was absolutely AWESOME! We actually had “fun” looking for a mattress. The atmosphere was calm, and we were welcomed to get comfy and relax. Carter and crew were super welcoming and very helpful. He showed us what we were interested in and didn’t try to sell us on anything he knew we wouldn’t like. We searched for two days around Junction City and Manhattan to fill our home and get beds. We walked in and out of the mattress firm within 30 minutes with a new queen bed! The customer service was unbelievable and we got such a great price. We’ve slept on the mattress once and I can’t explain how great it was. We won’t need the four month return that was also thrown in.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences ever. Terrible service terrible customer care can’t talk to real people if you call corporate unless you want to buy a new bed. Was told it take a month to get our bed and the firm will get it faster than going to purple directly. First lie. Purple says otherwise. Stay away from this place. When we first purchased our bed was told that we had until our bed was delivered to pay it off since our check was declined for no reason. That was second lie. Third lie was pay off the bed and it will be delivered on time. Nope for some reason when you pay off said merchandise you have to call them to let them know you paid it off???? Because they have no clue it was paid off????? Key word is NO CLUE. But where the other items are coming from did know.

Carter was a superstar. He was the sole employee working the evening we came in, yet he was able to accomodate both us and the other customers in the store. He was knowledgeable about the mattresses and willing to go the extra steps to get the product we needed. He also expertly tied our mattress down to our car which enabled us to get it home safely.He was friendly and affable and made us feel very comfortable in the store. He is definitely as asset to the local store, and the entire Mattress Firm. This review may sound like fluff, but I honestly have nothing bad to say about Carter or my entireexperience at the store! Lexi literally saved our lives. Our queen mattress at home has been passed down from family members so getting our own mattress that we enjoyed was very important. I’ve never “enjoyed” mattress shopping before. This was my first time enjoying the experience and also having an experience where the staff member fully explained mattresses to me.Carter was a fantastic person to work with for finding the right mattress for myself and my wife. There were no high pressure sales tactics, he wasn’t trying to sell me a product, but he was trying to help me find the right product. I can say that I honestly believe that. He was transparent about everything and took the time to explain each step and each minor detail. I knew exactly what I was getting and what to expect.The end result was me buying a mattress and base that I am exceedingly excited to receive. The next time I buy a mattress I hope I’m able to find Carter again, or someone of his caliber.

As a first-time mattress buyer, the sales representative/manager showed me different options and did a great job in assisting me in my decision on what type of mattress to get. Although I had to wait a few days for a delivery, it was definitely worth the wait, as my mattress was even better than I expected. The delivery team was quick and efficient, and the representative/sales team did not hesitate to help and provide a quick solution when an issue arose. In all, I am very satisfied.

It was busy while we were there and at one point there was more than 3 groups/couples it the store. He made sure to address each and acknowledge everyone as they entered.When deciding what we needed in a bed, he made sure to explain the major differences so that we would not be surprised, such as the differences between the Sealy and serta hybrid mattress with cooling and edge support. The edge support being a major reason we went with our choice.Definitely happy we stopped in and purchased through this store and discussed everything with Carter.

I wanted to take a few minutes to sit down and leave a post in regard to Carter who was my savior in regard to mattresses. I had purchased a mattress in June and at the time I purchased them I wanted a firm mattress, but Carter told me that sometimes the firm mattresses can cause a little bit of shoulder pain. Well, I had always slept on a firm mattress and I thought I wanted to keep the firm mattress so I purchased it. Today I went back to Mattress Firm and told Carter what was going on with my mattress, and he suggested I go to a soft plush because of the shoulder pain. I am so looking forward to my new mattress because the firm does not cut it anymore I think it has something to do with the way I sleep as I get older. Thanks again Carter!

Only issue is that they don’t have many mattresses in stock in town, but the warehouse is in KC and it doesn’t take long for delivery. Would definitely buy again.
