The pharmacy has been good to work with. There are some sharp people providing professional service. The phone computer reminders are not always the best, but the people are always helpful. Prices are very reasonable, and theyve always worked with our family on discounts available.
The pharmacy workers there are amazing! They helped me get the prescriptions I needed from the Drs office that had no clue what was needed. They made multiple calls on my behalf to ensure that I was able to get what I needed to take care of my diabetes. They went far above and beyond!
Very happy with this Walgreens. I do Walgreens E pickup to use the coupons, so I save a lot of money. This store always does an amazing job at finding everything, ringing me up quickly, etc. Theyre so nice also. The Walgreens on Bluemont always has an issue with E pickup. They dont have the items, they say they dont and its all on the shelf, they give me the wrong things, etc. This one is the complete opposite. I drive the extra from my house to come here. Great service!
I went online yesterday to schedule a COVID rapid test at Walgreens, got the confirmation email, and showed up 5 minutes prior to my appointment time as instructed. When I pulled up to the drive thru, they told me they were out of tests and so was the other Walgreens in town. They asked when I scheduled my appointment and I told them yesterday afternoon. They said someone should have called (they didnt) and were very unhelpful. It wasted an hour of my time (driving there and back) and now I have to wait until tomorrow to be tested elsewhere. Hopefully I dont have COVID because if so, another day wasted in notifying those Ive been in contact with thanks to Walgreens.
Walgreens is a great place for those last minute needs. Their prices are comparable to other convenience stores however are much higher than grocery stores. Their pharmacy has a pickup window and you can order delivery for their groceries through EatStreet
Filthy and horrendous wait times for prescriptions and vaccines. Don’t bother to make an appointment for anything, setting an appointment time means nothing to them.
After going to pick up my prescription, they told me they no longer had the meds to refill (even though they called to tell me to pick up). So I proceeded to ask them not to refill because I would be leaving town. Later that day I get a call that they have refilled it. I then call them the next day to ask that they no longer refill it but I can pick up the last one (BECAUSE I NEED THE MEDS) & whoever I spoke to was short with me & then hung up before I was done speaking. I’ve had issues in the past with this location but this seemed overly rude & unprofessional to me.
We walked in right before 9 a.m. when the pharmacy opens to get our 2nd shingles shot and was told by the pharmacist she couldnt help us until 9:15 b/c she had to open. Confusing since they were supposed to open at 9 a.m. Came back in at 9:15 and made to wait again while pharmacists chatted in the back. We could hear talking and laughing. It took 45 minutes to get a shot that shouldve taken 5. I guess they forgot that there is a pandemic. Who wants to hang out in a store for 45 minutes right now?? I read that Walgreens ia struggling financially due to online drug sales. Youd think they would at least offer customer service to try and hang onto the customers they have left. The assistant was really nice. The pharmacist who is supposed to be the professional was rude and disrespectful.
There must have been a staff change because everything was fine when I first came here, but now I have nothing but trouble with the pharmacy. Iamthisclose to bolting.
10/15/20 Tonight was a horrible experience. The three women working followed me while I shopped. The first one waited until I picked up one item and immediately asked if I was ready to check out. I said no not yet but thank you. Then I continued to look and picked up another item and the other woman did the same thing. I was on the very back isle and nowhere near the register to check out. Next all 3 women pretended to carry on a conversation at the end of the isle I was in. Apparently it takes 3 people to make someone feel like a criminal when youre only trying to shop and provide them with your business. The only reason they get a star is because it wont let me leave it blank!
Horrendous. Your medical care is a joke to these individuals. Be prepared to become the middle man as you call back and forth with your insurance, primary care provider, etc as you attempt to fill your scripts.
Good news - the pictures I ordered turned out well.Bad news - the lady working the photo counter was slow to help. She tried to swipe my gift card twice and informed me it wouldnt work and I could only use it online. I tried to use it online today and was informed by Walgreens chat associate that you cannot use gift cards online.
Parking is decent, good selection of merchandise, and prices are reasonable.
I was ordering prints for a military gift and Briyonna went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. She let me look at the photos to ensure there was no issues made from the digital order, when there was because I didn’t select the fit to print option she let me barrow a cable to reprint the photos. Whole she was assisting me she did not forget about the other customers. Truly an awesome experience!
Terrible customer service. They did not have enough to fill my prescription. They were transferring it to the other Walgreens pharmacy. I went the next day to pick it up and they had not transferred it. After getting the run around from both stores had to have it transferred to Dillion’s pharmacy who was very helpful!
Getting prescriptions filled is fine and the staff is polite, but when I went to get a flu shot and both pharmacist and pharm tech insisted that my health insurance card was only a prescription card (despite it having my policy number number on it in addition to the Rx numbers). I use this card at every Dr office I go to w/o issue. Its also the student-insurance plan for KSU/the college in town, so I cant be the first person to come in with a card that looks like this. Double checked with my insurance company and verified that yes, that is my medical insurance card. Ended up giving up and making an appointment at Lafene health center on campus.
Well organized Walgreens in a quiet location.
Poor costume service for photo printing!!
I go in that store almost daily. Every cashier has pretty much seen me and know my age. Also Im the only one in my late 20s early 30s that uses a can to walk. Oh and I have purple hair and two piercings in my face. They all know Im under 40 but way over 18 but the recognize me but still card me for smokes. They say oh well its cause I know ur under 40. The age is 18 to smoke and yes if ur not sure about someone and they look under 40 yes u card them, but Im tired of going in there after I take my husband to work to get only that with the same cashier every time Im there and get harassed by her. Yes its there job but at this point as a loyal customer and she knows about how old I am its harassment . Everywhere else I go after a few times they stop carding me cause I stand out from everyone in Manhattan ty. Something needs to change cause Im about to stop going here. Tired of the bs
Photo Department is awesome!
Clean store awesome employees.
Its hard to tell what the prices are, there is a big printed card instead of a price. The otc anti-histamine products cost almost twice what they are at Dilllons.
Terrible pharmacist. I ask for consults on new medicine and am treated rudely. She also doesnt seem to know much about medicine interactions or how to help people beyond telling them to read the medicine insert. Dont use their pharmacy go someplace where you will be taken care of
Is there some reason why the phone isnt being answered, not even by a machine?
Nices store clerks!
