I haven’t been in a “record store” in ages, but I recently rediscovered the joy of intentionally listening to music. This place just added to that pleasure today. Really good selection, and I could have spent wayyyy more time here if I’d had the time available.The best part though was the guy behind the counter (I think he was the owner). Very helpful and positive and friendly.10/10 WILL definitely shop here again. (Wish I didn’t live two hours away though.)

HUGE selection of vinyl albums! Big selection of CDS. Movies available. Surprised to see a section of 8-tracks. Store is very crampt. Not a lot of space to move. One day I will buy a record player. I will return to browse.Facemasks required. You have to sanitize your hands before entering.

Best record store in the city . Wide selection of Used and new Vinyl . Used audio equipment also. Although I feel the used Cds are priced a bit high.Stores is a bit of a mess but makes it feel like a garage sale which is cool.

I just left Music Connection for the first time and I am so impressed! The collection here covers it all. Whether you’re old school or you like the new stuff, they definitely have something up your alley. The gentleman who helped me was very pleasant. I can’t wait to go back.

Very rude to customers, someone was trying to be honest about finding a record in a jacket, and it happened to be the one this person was looking for, the owner said he wouldnt sell it without the right jacket...OkOne, this person was being honest...Two, this person was about to drop some cash on several other records...Super fkn rude...Will not return!!Has anyone ever turned this place in, for disaster area...If there ever was a fire...Nasty, dirty...Never again!!

Love me a good used record store! Nice folks and great selection of new and used records

Lots of great music choices.The store is cramped which makes moving around and looking through inventory difficult. Some merchandise is completely blocked by other stuff and there are a couple dead ends in the store. It was not terribly pleasing to walk around.Then I talked to John and he was so nice, accommodating, funny, helpful and knowledgeable. I didnt mention how cramped it is but he was eager to check the metal section with me. He recommended some really great stuff! John went over and above by offering to let me borrow an album to see if I liked it.It would be nice to have a listening station in the store sample albums. Also a storage room or something to get it off the floor.Prices are fair considering he has to pay rent plus there are sales and rewards points offered.I really had a great experience. Music stores are few and far between especially those with an exceptional owner!

A great place to roll up your sleeves and take a dive. Super-fun place to shop.Cant find it? Ask. Theyll keep their eyes open for things for you if they dont have it in the store.Jazz, Funk, Rock, Soul, Country, Soundtracks, 12 singles, Classical, . You name it, they have it. Great rewards program too.Oh, and hardware as well. Bought a pair of speakers there a couple years ago and they sound great.

Good recovery on old albums

Great place where you can buy and sell records and other items. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The store is very clean. The items in the store are well organized and diverse. They really have a ton of different music here in many different formats. I was able to sell the store a few of my old records for a fair price, so I purchased some new albums after reading in my old ones that I no longer wanted. This weekend ill be listening to some new music thanks to Music Connection!A+ all around for this great store. I will definitely be returning some time and I would definitely recommend this store to my friends and family. They have everything you could ever need in terms of music, and the fact that theyll buy your old records is awesome!

A bit cluttered but most of the time has a great collection of cassette tapes! Prices can sometimes be a bit high, bet then again you also get some really good deals!

The selection here is amazing. The aisles are crowded with gems and the personnel are knowledgeable and very pleasant. If youre looking for something specific, just ask the staff. They will find it for you.

First time stopping by the shop today and I am a new collector looking for a local store to make regular. Met one of the owners, John who was very nice and chatted with a bit while I was there. Found a few records at a good price I bought but, others I was interested in that I did not buy were a bit high in price for the newer vinyl. Also the store could use a few good hands and a couple of days to organize the store up. There was so much stock that I could barely move without knocking something over. If the store was properly set up and prices were 10-20% cheaper this would be an awesome record store. Still I am very glad I stopped in and met John and I will most likely to be back on a regular basis.

VERY over priced compared to most all other New England stores. I travel and purchase a great deal in New England and I just cant visit this spot anymore. Amazing 45 selection but store is never organized, wax filling the aisles so much that I couldnt even dig in half the store. Owner is nice and knows his stuff but he sells as though he is a Manhattan record store when his wax quality and store cleanliness are not. Youd be better served checking other surrounding stores.

Has a wide selection of vinyls and CDs. They do have DVDs but the prices are all over the place. It is very tight and crowded with everything they have. But would still recommend to those who collect vinyls to stop in.

This place is fantastic. The owner, John, is a knowledgeable and delightful man who has a passion for what he does. There is a great selection of records and CDs, and although the bulk of the tape collection has been done away with, there is still a great selection of those. The used audio equipment is very good and the repairs are free in case there is something wrong. A year ago today I would have left a four star review instead, because it used to be overcrowded. While I found the stacks of records and other equipment quite charming, many of my friends that I brought were dissuaded by it. Now they have reorganized the entire store so that you can walk around comfortably searching for your music! There is also this beautiful old jukebox that you can see into as it moves the records it plays around, with a new selection every time thanks to Johns awesome music taste. This is my favorite music place to go to, and I always stop there when we go to the mall.

Ive bought music there numerous times, and it always seems like I learn something every time I go there. This is the place to go for all music on vinyl, including past hits, todays hits, and sometimes future hits*. Like movies? You might find a random selection of DVD, Blu Ray, Laser-disk, and even CED Disks. If youre really lucky, you might even find a fully functional CED Disk Player.* I have bought albums there multiple times, that weeks (even months) later have a song on it that appears on the American Top 40.

Hello From Los Angeles the fact that this guy is still there speaks multitudes of words...I recall in January 2002 waiting to have work done on my car and hanging out looking at records talking with the owner...I cam across this old paper from 02 and saw a note about Music Connection in Manchester and wondered what the heck google it and son of a gun its still there...
