Sue was really nice and super helpful while in the store. Pricing was also pretty good on the majority of items in there. Would totally visit again if I am in the area.
Didnt know this place existed. Window shopped for the first time and wish I had been able to get something, but a very nostalgic walkthrough. Will be back to buy some things
Great little gem of a game store with vintage games, consoles, board games, memorabilia and Manga! Super friendly, well definitely be back!
My son loves this store! Everyone is always so pleasant and helpful. If by chance they do not have what you are looking for they will suggest where to look.
Extremely helpful staff, responded to a Facebook message about product availability. They were able to get us what we needed the very next day at a great price!
Affordable prices on movies, games, collectables. The owner and employees are really friendly and helpful. I love it 🙂
I love the staff!! They almost always have something new that my son or husband likes. A great place to buy surprises for the gamer in your life! Fully recommend!
Just went in today to trade in a rockband set and the lady was super friendly and helped me out with a snes game! Highly recommend that employee and she made it a great experience :)
So many choices! Great gaming store
Went here with my daughter cause they said they had pokemon cards which they did and the lady working was extremely nice and will be going back in the next few days
This is an amazing place to pick up games and consoles! Much better than Game Stop. Friendlier Too!
Great store...all kinds of neat stuff, pops, retro systems, Manga, games for all systems and figpins, dvds, collectibles for all types of collectors, Nintendo 64 and amazing customer service from a sweet girl named Taylor and she told us about their larger location in Rochester and to follow them on fb for constant updates
Very friendly service and well set up.
Was debating going here to check the place out, so I scrolled through their Facebook to see what they had. I found a post where they claimed that Gamestop had PS5s for sale. It was clearly a joke, but some people are obviously not going to get it. Someone replied saying that they got yelled at by customers because this place had told them Gamestop had PS5s in stock. Whoever is running the Level Up Gamings Facebook was incredibly rude to them in the replies instead of apologizing for sending customers their way. I dont really wanna support a business thats that rude to people.I also can guarantee that Ill get a rude reply to this, judging by the other critical reviews of their store. I was looking forward to checking out a new place, what a bummer.
Prices were a little xtremeBut everything is xtreme when youre buying second hand wii controllers 😎
Store has hugely improved the last year or so. Mark and Sue know what theyre doing and every employee in the Goffstown store has been nothing but delightful. Pricing is very good and on point (sometimes lower than it should be but dont tell Sue!!) Love this place.
Friendly place and has a few items from time to time but reason why I gave 3 stars is because how expensive they always are. Im a full on collector and live down the street from this shop but its probably the one ive been to least again because of the steep prices. I get that you should get your moneys worth but not when you didnt pay nearly anything for it and then to ask above retail for it? Greed is not something I have the patience for. I have three items from their store in very good condition. Would be my go to if they werent so keen on their high prices. 3 stars overall good store and I would recommend to others
So we ended up copping a nintendo 64 from here and let me just start off by saying the lady who works here *Sue* has the best customer service ever. She made the experience awesome 🙂
A great old game store
Im visiting from out of town and like shopping retro game stores for items hard to find. Not a bad little shop but a bit too cluttered. Boxes and displays in the aisles makes getting around a bit difficult, especially if your trying to be social distance friendly.Plenty of old and new games and items. The sales woman acknowledge me when I first walked in, but then I was nothing more then part of the scenery.Might try again in a few weeks to see if if anything more is unboxed.*Owner:Didnt write review at 1st prompt as I was driving. Tagged it so I could remember to do it later.*
Fun store to shop in. Find things here all the time.
Just came here for the first time yesterday, the games and other stuff were really well organized and everything. The prices on the games were well fair and the movies were nice and organized as well. They even have some cool retro games stuff there that other games stored in NH dont have. The lady cashier was really nice to me too, she was very well helpful and kind, and said if I have a problem with any of the stuff I got there, I can return it. I will definitely come back here again in the near future, Ill go to any game store anytime anywhere. 🙂
They were very helpful with an older game system that I had. Definitely treated me well. I didnt know much about what I was looking for and at and they helped me out. I appreciated their kindness.
The service is absolutely fantastic. The lady is wicked nice. They have a huge selection of games and the consoles that arent even in production anymore. I love this store. They work with you and let you switch stuff that doesnt work. I highly recommend this store. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Awesome place !!! Loaded with retro systems and accessories must check out place if you need hard to find classics
Sue is amazing and is very fair! We go there twice a week every week in Manchester. I just recently got a childhood game I haven’t played in so long and she gave us a great price for it. Will always come back!!
Great customer service. Friendly staff and management. They do, however, appear to get all of their retro game pricing from EBay, which is already above market value, then they add their own mark up. Most of the selection is common titles, often in fair to poor condition, and everything is unfortunately overpriced. Id still suggest checking them out if youre in the market for retro games. Just be aware, you can find better prices on EBay.
If you think game stop is bad. Then you wouldnt want to go to level up gaming. Just joking. Im not going to bad mouth a good place to pick up classic video games. its one of my favorite places to go still. I still miss AJ but the owner is a good guy and hes just making his earnings. the prices arent bad. you can almost find any old/classic game you want. I havent met anyone who hasnt complained about the store or how the new owner is. its a great place for children and adults who are looking to get back into gaming. its also a cool place for memories from when you were a child. if your just checking out the store. I dont really do reviews but this place gets a five star ranking from me.
Been going for years. Always great customer service and conversation
A welcoming shop, with fair prices on both the things they sell and what they pay out for vintage gaming stuff.
Ive been here a few times in the past few months, sometimes buying and sometimes selling. They have reasonable prices on games and everything Ive bought has been clean and works properly. In terms of trade-ins, theyve always come within $5 of the estimates I calculate privately. Its easy to overvalue a video game collection so I understand why some reviews have expressed disappointment with the trade-in aspect, but the reality is, retro game prices are volatile and usually DROP, rather than rise, in value, so every purchase they make is a risk. They also check online prices right in front of you so its not like they are trying to hide anything from you, if youre selling.
Excellent people and excellent service. I have never been more surprised by how reasonably priced a business can be. These guys deserve a 10 star average review in my opinion.
Great place to shop when you got some extra cash to spend and great staff love going here. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are ever in the area :)
I had a very good experience at this store. I got there around closing time the owner Sue, stayed open later so I could look around and was very knowledgeable and helpful. The selection of games and memerobellia itself is also large and impressive. The prices at this store are some of the best I have seen around. All the items I bought were clean and worked great. I am overall very happy with my experience at this store and I will definitely be coming back often!
The place is great, I got a good game there a great price. The service is also good, all the staff I have met there are nice as well.Edit: will go back for more games when have the cash
Sue is awesome. I spent 1.5+ hours in her shop on a nostalgia trip. As I was there, I observed multiple sets of customers enter and leave, with whom she was on a first name basis with. She will give discounts to encourage you to leave with more items if it means bringing your total to an even, easy to pay denomination (i.e I bought $19 worth of product, was told to buy one more item, which was worth $3, to bring my total to $20). Looking forward to visiting again, and to check out their Rochester store.
Good game I am pro the pass all without failing in a mission :) I am looking for friends agrengeme. Make friends with me and lets play Run 3 Game on 88kgames
Awesome store! Honest folks and great deals. I personally have purchased two used video game systems and several used games there with no issues. Friendly service, huge selection and a shared passion for video games, movies and collectibles. Would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to buy or sell used/retro video game systems, games, collectibles etc.
What a friendly owner! We were driving past the area and stopped in to check out the shop. A great collection of video games and collectibles, along with some loose figures too. Had a decent selection of Funko Pops! as well. Got to the shop 5 minutes before their closing time and ended up staying 10 minutes after that just talking to the owner. What a great place!
Great staff, lots of great selection and great prices!
The people who wrote the negative reviews have no clue what theyre talking about! This store is amazing. The service is fantastic and rare now a days. Its a small family owned business and both the owners will go out of their way to help you find exactly what youre looking for. If they dont have it on hand the day youre looking, theyll take your name and number and the second they can release it theyll call you. Their selection is tremendous and theyre prices are so cheap. Ive never found a business of this type to be so wonderful and helpful. Ive been present a few times browsing and have seen many customers excited to have found the games they played as a child and more times than not leave happy. This is a great local business!
Great stre an great prices if you like retro fames this is the place to go
What more can I say about this place and the new owner Mark besides being my absolute favorite place to shop and good conversation, incredible customer service, wide selection of video games and toys. Mark has a excellent knowledge of his business he had recommended me several video games across a wide selection of systems and I loved them all! I come in often to check out his ever growing collection. One thing I love is that everything is tested (which is important if we are talking classic games) and if there is ever a problem, he has a good return policy which of all the games and systems I purchased I never had to use. I am really grateful Mark has turned this true gem of a store into a sanctuary of fun and entertainment for not only gamers and collectors but anyone who wants to have fun!
Sue kept store open a couple minutes after close so that i get something i forgot to last time. great place to look for out of print games and products. be sure to follow on facebook to stay up to date with inventory
Great store to shop at, the owners are very nice and knowledgeable in games and are eager to assist. even if they do not have the game or item in stock they will keep an eye open for you and will let you know when they get it in. definite my favorite store to shop for retro games at and would recommend to anyone looking for retro goods.
I have made a few stops here recently and I couldnt be happier with my experience. Sue is a sweetheart and went above and beyond to help me with what I needed, including staying past closing hours. Will definitely be back soon for more!
This is the best game shop around, the owners are very good people who try their best to please every customer that comes through the doors. They have anything retro you can imagine and allot of things you wouldnt expect. They have the best deals anywhere.
There are a lot of vintage game, toys figurines, its a good place for any fan of comic book and anime as well
Ive been going to this store for years and its awesome. Its like walking into a time machine of video games and collectables. The owners are incredibly nice people and have always given me a fair deal on exchanged games. I cant say enough good things about this store!
Stopped in a few days ago to sell some items. I expected some reasonable negotiation, but what I got was a clueless 19 year old who half-heartedly looked at 2 or 3 items in a 20+ item stack and then offered an insultingly low price. Dont waste your time with this store.
Level Up gaming is a cool store to check out. So many games available and the rentals are good.
Staff was nice, great selection, also cheaper prices than ebay. Simply amazing!
Great store, great owners with awesome attitudes every time ive been in. They are always very quick to respond when i message through facebook asking about the availability of specific items. 5 out 5 two thumbs up would recommend 😁
We stopped into this shop on a whim one day while looking for a used PS2. My fiancé and I were so glad we stumbled across this shop! The owner was so friendly and she had a PS2 available! We had a little mix up with the controller, but the owner let us drive right back in to snag a different one. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!
I attend the weekly event at Level Up Gaming that has become the highlight of my week. This is the best small business i have ever shopped at. The owner is one of the friendliest people I have ever met and His staff are phenomenal. Look no further for vintage gaming, this is the store to go to!
Awesome Retro game store! The owners are very friendly and helpful with any question you have about the systems they sell. They also have a very good selection of games and movies at a reasonable price too. =DNot sure what that other person below was complaining about. LOL
This place is cool. Got some good deals a lot cheaper than the franchise store prices. Service helpful and they do allow returns if the game doesnt work or you have a problem with it.Since I have been back I have noticed an actual decline in the level of service with prices going up to levels higher than the chain stores and a general lack of inventory so i am removing one star.
Don’t go here unless you want to be harassed. The rudest lady ever works here. She will only be nice if you have some rare or very high demand game and she will try to give you at least HALF of what it’s worth. Don’t waste your time or money.
Great people, fair prices and selection
Amazing selection and pricing. Owner is very nice and always works with you. I could not be happier as a customer. Thank you
They have a great selection of retro games, consoles and accessories. With fair prices to boot. Check em out!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great shop!
Great selection of games and wonderful people
Having old school classic games work a very good selection.
The lady is super nice and they usually have a pretty good selection of games from all different consoles.
Has so so Much Rare stuff & Jewels here Sue ya are Amazing come back over an over again weekly.
One of the few places near me that sells classic games and movies, now sells toys, comics, and all sorts of other fun and interesting things. Although the eBay high prices for the more popular titles is a bit unfortunate (I still blame YouTubers like James Rolfe for that..), 90% of the other games and memorabilia are fairly priced and in good condition 99% of the time. The new management is just a friendly as the prior, and I cannot think of any negative things to say about the guy (besides the much higher prices, but as I said, its really only the more popular games). Over all Level UP is probably my favorite store and I highly recommend checking them out.
I used to shop here before it was bought by the new owner who has clearly never heard of customer service. He is very rude and assumed anyone that questions his prices to be a dealer. Honestly just look at how he responds to constructive criticism on the reviews. I used to buy all my stuff from here. Now I just use Ebay or Amazon where you can find the best prices on your gaming needs.
Great hole in the wall in Gtown. They have a wide variety of collectables and old video games and systems. Great for the gamer or classic toy collector.
I went there a few months ago and I sold three garbage bags worth of video game stuff (way too much to list in a comment) and the store owner would only offer $100. He knew head of time I was going to buy a Wii there for half of the price, and I ended up getting pushed into taking the offer anyways. If that wasnt enough, the Wii wouldnt even read discs and the owner wouldnt do anything with it (not even take it back). The only time Id recommend this store is if you want to buy older games.
What a joke. My question is what the hell is the purpose of having a telephone number if they wont even answer their phone? How lazy can they possibly get? Great selection of vintage games and systems which is great but their customer support is terrible.
Very good service! Came and got more than i expected. My friend even got his games for free because the sales rep thought the quality of the game disk wasnt worth the asking price. Will come again.
Poor selection of popular hard to find games. Smaller than pictured. Staff was friendly.
Organized. Very friendly, will help you with anything your looking for
I love gaming; and i dont dislike this store too hard,, but the store doesnt seem like it knows the market for retro games; and half of my gba games never worked. I think something like that should have been checked. It seemed like a level of care had been missing and what was there was everything ya kinda wanted. There is prolly gems laying in there; but suggestion to management; some studying on gamers-gaming-retro whats in is needed for more success. Sucks that there isnt too many gaming stores to choose from either in nh. :-/
Cute store, good place to go for old-school games and systems.
Sue always tries to make every one ☺ with her attitude and the way she does business, and always has great games..Thank you Sue..
Great selection of games as well as nice service, and good prices.
Always the best deals and best selection.
Excellent it will truly bring you to the past and todays stuff for the gamer in you!
If youve ever loved a video game before you owe it to yourself to visit this place
Not the most organised but I have seen far worse. I love flash back Fridays and the old games are to die for:) Been there about 10 time since they opened and no problems thus far always greeted and treated very well.
Level Up Gaming is EPIC!!! Its the best game store around!!
Good games, great prices.
Rude rip off artists. Go to core gaming in Salem
A pleasant shopping experience and the prices are good.
Few prices listed, looks online for prices i will buy it on ebay myself rather than this process. Also dishonest i found a good deal on a game from her sticker price and she said she couldnt find it before even looking through the games. If its listed for a certain price please honor it even if you think its worth more and dont play games
Not only can you find pretty much anything youre looking for at a good price, but if youre looking to sell something, not only will they give you their price, but also gamestops price as well, just in case you might get a better deal. Its rare to find good business like that these days.
Best retro game shop in the state.
I love this place! The prices on everything CANT be beat! Amazing selection from Sega and GameCube to psp and ps4 n xbox one! My ultimate fav place to go!
I have an amazing time at Level Up Gaming playing in their weekly super smash brothers tournaments. They have a large selection of games and everything is really fairly priced!
Very friendly staff and great stuff!
Level up Gaming has easily earned my 5 stars! I visited this store for the first time a few months ago and have been back quite a bit since! The manager Sue is very friendly and so helpful everytime I stop in! There is a wide selection of all your retro gaming needs and even if they dont have something in stock, they make sure to contact you when they do have it in. I will say, they are a bit pricey. However, all retro games are overpriced, arnt they? Sometimes Ill find certain games on ebay or another online store for cheaper but its also vice versa...sometimes the game I want on ebay is cheaper at Level Up. If you want the cheapest prices for your games...youll have to do some shopping around. I will continue spending my money here without a question! Sues friendly demeanor and passion is worth it alone to me! It makes it easier to spend so much money when your giving it to a good person that provides excellence! Great local Business & definitely one of my new favorite places to shop!! =D
I eent there to trade some games in because i used to go there all the time when the previous owners ran it but no more they tried to give me 5$ for 5 games but on gamestop one of the games alone was 6.45. DONT GO HERE FOR TRADES
Awesome! Selection is great, prices are good, especially when compared to GameStop. This place specializes in video games 2nd generation to 7th generation. Service is above perfect. I got a Wii here for $60, it was modded, so they let me return it and get a new one whereas at GameStop I could have gotten a Wii at GameStop for $90. Yes, that is $30 in savings for a Wii. I definitely reccomend coming here if youre from the area.
Its a nice enough place. Friendly staff, decent range of systems they carry games for. My only gripe is really that the place is pretty small and the selection is meh. There are a lot of games, dont get me wrong, but I always head to these places to find hidden treasures, and if you go to LevelUp in the hopes of grabbing a Killer 7, Silent Hill 2, or Eternal Darkness, youll come away disappointed. They do have systems for pretty cheap though, old PS Ones for $45ish, GameCubes for a similar price. Its worth a stop if youre in the area but not worth a trek, if that makes sense.
One wordrip off. if you want a scam here you go. they have some good finds. but for a crazy amount. i go in and see forza 2 wich i got for 2 bucks at gamestop. they have the gamestop price tag but over it is a 12 dollar sticker. they got nerve to do that. i gave them 4 games one i payed 40 for used and the others 10 or more. he gives me 9 dollars store credit. so i take it not knowing about the prices. and it smells like cigeretts in there. overall double thumbs down
We were outside for 10 mins while a little kid was inside running around and we had to wait in the rain with other people and when we got inside we could not sell our games and was a terrible experience
