I had so much fun trying on gowns with Paula at Maiden Voyage! They had traditional and very unique styles. I ended up with my perfect wedding gown that is so unique and not like any dress I have ever seen. I cant wait to wear it and then after my wedding im going to probably randomly walk around my house in it. I literally had the most incredible experience at Maiden Voyage! I went in and had the help of Rachel and Nancy. They both were absolutely amazing and so much fun to work with. My experience at Maiden Voyage Bridal was AMAZING! The consultant I worked with was such a delightful person. She was able to choose dresses that I had not thought to try on before. She was super patient and answered all of our questions. I would recommend making your appointment at this bridal store!

I would give this place one star, however I add two more stars because:1. I did end up with a beautiful dress (after alterations and me forcing them to reorder it and admit their mistake)2. The woman in the receiving department heard about my issues and took me under her wing to ensure the store paid for any and all operations.Maiden Voyage ordered by dress 2-3 sizes too big (ordered me a 10, I am usually a 2 or 4) and claimed the designer did not provide them with an update sizing chart and that is why it happened.They also claimed they had to order the 61 in length dress or I would be charged for the shorter length despite the tag STATING it is available in 55, 58, or 61 in. They claimed I would owe extra for ordering a 55 in and I literally had to FIGHT with them to order this for me.Needless to say, I ended up leaving that day crying. They did end up ordering me a size 6 and a 55 in length dress after much back and forth, however I still felt that a 6 was too big. It was, of course. Furthermore, I called around and ordering a 55 in length Morilee gown is NOT an extra charge despite what Paula and the other woman helping me claimed.After the size 6 was ordered, I got multiple accident calls that my dress was in and ready when in fact it was not.Finally, a nice woman in the receiving department must have caught wind of how upset I was and took me under her wing. She ensured that Maiden Voyage paid for my alterations.While I did end up needing one more round of alterations, I ended up paying for them myself just to save myself the pain of ever communicating with this business again.There are MANY other bridal shops in St. Louis - AVOID THIS ONE.

I am so happy with my experience at Maiden Voyage! After not trying on my wedding dress for a year, and trying it on a month before my wedding it did not fit and I NEEDED something new ASAP. Everywhere I called told me they were booked to look at dresses, except maiden voyage and they fit me in within the hour. I tried on multiple things off the rack and Diane was so patient and found EXACTLY what I was looking for. I’m so grateful found the dress I wanted and dealt with such a nice accommodating staff. The staff is always friendly! After explaining my theme, the first dress brought to me was MY DRESS! Im am very impulsive but I wanted to make sure it was the one I wanted so I kept looking around. I went to several other bridal shops and not ONE had what I was looking for. My theme is boho and no one sells boho wedding gowns as it isnt your popular princess theme. Well Maiden Voyage has boho dresses and the one I have is only sold at their store, you cannot get it anywhere else in the Midwest. I love my dress so much and it fits perfectly! Customer service was terrible. I made an appointment a little less than a month a head of time and they still didn’t know about any information that I gave them to make the appointment. The ladies there never told me their names, never introduced themselves or even offered to help. When we were going through all the fun dresses just to have some fun the lady told us that these were not the type of dresses I should be looking at...They never asked any questions about styles that I liked or designers to try out. They didn’t even know how many bridesmaids I had and just made no effort to make the experience great or fun. Very unfortunate that my first time looking for bridesmaids dresses was like this.

As a bride-to-be you have all sorts of anxious nerves running at once. You want to go for the best and dont want to make a mistake. Well I can tell you that going with Maiden Voyage is no mistake. First, the shop is in a old school building and feels nothing like just a retail shop - rather it feels more personal and intimate like any bridal shop should feel like since you are going to find something you have been dreaming about almost all of your life. They have a wide variety of dresses and bridesmaids dresses. Each dresses is picked by the owner with much thought and consideration. I could not believe how dresses were picked out for the shop - such dedication! There are so many dresses out there to choose and fall in love with at once. Then the consultants are amazing, so kind and generous with their words and trust. I was so fearful about purchasing my dress on the first day of looking cause I had only tried on like 5 dresses prior. Though after going and picking up my dress, I had fallen more in love with it than when I purchased it months ago. Everyone is so kind at the shop, as if they are good friends always wanting the best for you and not just treating you like the next customer. I will always suggest this shop to my friends, always. This shop is owned by a family that cares so much about their customers from before you even walk in the door to the moment you walk out the door with your dress. While I was in the shop picking up my dress, my consultant, who was also the shop owner - took the time to re-sew on a protecting fabric for the beads on my dress and we had such a great conversation. While I was on my way out it had started to rain and she offered an umbrella, and a plastic bag to cover my dress that was already in a bag. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of properly. She is the best. Trust me when I say this - you are not making a mistake going with Maiden Voyage Bridal instead of Davids Bridal.

This boutique is amazing! It is spacious, organized, and absolutely adorable. Jessica allowed me to take my time browsing all the bridal gowns and gave me ample time to try on and choose my favorite. I found my dream dress at Maiden Voyage and it was wonderful. However, I felt that the staff seemed annoyed with me after I purchased the dress. I came in on two separate occasions after purchasing my Hayley Paige dress to look at bridesmaids dresses. My dress had several different colors in it, so we were having a hard time finding the right bridesmaids dresses to compliment it. I asked for them to pull out my dress to compare to the bridesmaids and they were not thrilled to help out. After all was said and done I spent just under 5000 on my dress, bridesmaids, and accessories. I would have appreciated them to at least pretend that they were not annoyed with me. Also, they ordered me a size 22 dress. I normally wear a 14-16 in normal dresses but they told me it was correct. I ended up spending hundreds of dollars on alterations because it was so ridiculously large they had to make an incredible amount of alterations.

I had a horrible experience here today.Made an appointment ahead of time and listed the type of dress I am interested in online within the comments (Rustic perhaps a high-low).On arrival they were not very inviting and treated me as if I were a burden and obviously had other priorities which clearly did not include spending much time with me.Complete waste of time, they were not prepared for the appointment and obviously do not read comments from their online form. They suggested I go to Frontenac or somewhere else for my style.Frustrated, went to Davids Bridal. Davids welcomed us with open arms, waited on me hand and foot and completely nailed my style. Walked out with a dress, flower girl dress and then some.Go ahead Maiden Voyage, let your husband sit in the foyer and eat salad while you turn your nose up to consumers. I am not a burden and am happy you suggested I take my business elsewhere.Update, I have since been back to Davids and purchased two Bridesmaid dresses and accessories, so happy I did not spend it at Maiden Voyage.

The first half of my experience was great! I had second thoughts on the first dress I decided on and went back to look again. The lady that helped me was very patient and helped me find my dream dress. Unfortunately, I just tried to pick up the dress today to start alterations and noone was there. The hours on google state they are open 11:30 to 8pm Wednesdays. Closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. I would suggest Maiden Voyage look into this and make sure the information available to the public is correct.

Had some beautiful wedding gowns but during the appointments everyone was in the dressing room which was extremely awkward. The staff was very helpful and pleasant however. They had a large selection of bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride dresses and prom dresses. There was a very limited selection of flower girl dresses but I was told they were bringing in a new line soon.

I was so excited to shop for a wedding dress and Maiden Voyage Bridal was my first and last stop! Their selection of wedding dresses was very extensive and reasonably priced and I was able to find my perfect gown practically immediately! My consultant, Amy, listened to exactly what I wanted and she was able to pull my dream dress on her first round of picks. The staff is so welcoming every time I come in and they are genuinely excited for all of my wedding news. I came to Maiden Voyage after visiting several bridal salons and I can not express the gratitude I feel for them! I had pretty much made my mind I wanted a dress at another salon, but knew I wanted that family experience (my family was not present with the first salon). I had that experience when everyone I brought loved my dress!!! It made me forget the other dress and everyone in the shop came up to tell me how wonderful it looked! Then my regret set in...I was terrified I made the wrong decision. I called to see if there was any way I could come in. They were so understanding. I got in within 10 min of my call, saw my dress and knew I made the right call. Amy encouraged me to try it on, put on veils and hair accessories again, talked in great lengths about the alterations, and talked with me about my decision to purchase this dress. Amy set my mind at ease even more. The owner is always pleasant and accommodating. I went in again today, not out of fear, but absolute delight. I couldnt wait to see my dress again, and AGAIN they were accommodating in fitting me in, never once making me feel rushed. Customer service with this salon is everything a bride should experience. Amber was my consultant at Maiden Voyage. She is really genuine and down to earth. I really liked her and she was helpful. I found two dresses I really loved, but I wanted to think about it (and try on other dresses) for a bit before I decided on a dress. I looked great in a lot of dresses; I just had to figure out the style that felt right.I came back about a week later during my lunch break. I called in about 30 minutes before to try on the dress again and make a purchase. They happily accommodated me and got me in and out in less than thirty minutes. They were all really nice and I felt bad being in such a hurry to get back to work, but they understood and were very efficient.When it was time for my alterations I could not have been more pleased with the service I received here! Absolutely amazing experience to try on my dress. I love that the large majority of alterations are included in the sale of the dress. Because the seam, hem and bustle alterations are all included, I did not have any additional expenses on my dress. Everyone here was a dream to work with and I am so excited to pick up my dress next week for the big day!

She started off our appointment by asking me what style I was looking for, and didnt pull ANY dress for me to try on that didnt fit that style! I purchased my Dream Wedding Dress from this place and I could not be happier with it!!! From the first day I entered the doors of this place, it was welcoming and very intimate. The owner is very hands on (which I love) and my sales associate Amy was the absolute best!! I ordered my dress in June of 2017. They informed me that it would take 7-8 months to come back and it came back the middle of January (7 months exactly). They were very knowledgeable about what size I should get considering how the dresses run for the particular designer and it fit perfect. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for any bride.

Anyone who has tried on wedding dresses knows how much work it is to get these gowns on and off, but Kristine wanted me to try any and every dress that caught my eye.Heres why I preferred Maiden Voyage over Davids Bridal. At Davids Bridal I was not allowed to help pull any of the dresses for myself. I had to circle dresses in a catalogue and wait for the sales assistant to pull my choices. The way a dress looks and feels in person is so different from a photograph. At Maiden Voyage I was led to a room with dresses all within my price point where I could walk among the dresses and decide what to try on. It was a magical experience! Not to mention, at Davids Bridal I was trying on the exact same dresses as all the other brides around me. At Maiden Voyage there is such a variety of dresses that I actually ended up buying a truly unique dress that was newly released from the designer. Came to get a bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding. The women up front are nice enough. But they pressure you WAY too much to get a bigger dress size so that you have to pay extra to get it altered. I didnt have time to come in so I got my measurements at home. I was between a size 8-10 based off the chart they told me to follow. When I called back in with my dress size as a 10 they wouldnt stop pressuring me to go to a 12 and basically said if I ruined my friends wedding by getting a size too small, it wasnt their fault. Well I got the size 10 and its huge! I definitely needed the 8 and Im glad I didnt go to 12. Im sure they are better with brides though.

I chose Maiden Voyage because they carry Hayley Paige. They were very patient and helpful and responsive when I called to check on the status of my order. It was a great experience!

It was incredibly disappointing that I went in looking for a bridesmaid dress and the two girls in the shop were incredibly rude. The first girl told me that they couldnt help me because the wedding date was 3 1/2 months away and they needed 4 months notice for every dress. Despite her sharp tone, I still wanted to look at dresses. The other girl took me to see dresses and mentioned that if there wasnt time to order then I could buy off the rack if I saw something I liked. She asked me what I had in mind and I told her that I wanted a dress that I might be able to wear again at some point. Her response was thats not a reasonable expectation. Really? Isnt that for me to decide as the customer if I want to wear the dress again for a different occasion? I left right then, clearly with money STILL in my purse. I would never recommend going there.

Called and was able to set up an appointment with ease. I was helped by Jenny who took some time to understand what I was looking for and pointed out dresses I might like, and was very careful to help look for things in my price range. Ultimately, she picked the one I fell in love with! She let me try on my favorites again and again, and even recommended I go to lunch and come back before I made a decision--absolutely no pressure!! Their dresses are gorgeous, and they had excellent customer service! Im so glad I found Maiden Voyage, in love with my dress. Thanks to Jenny for her help and great eye!!

Had a great experience at Maiden Voyage. They get to know your style and vision and bring you dresses that match that. (They have a huge selection!) Theyre also very easy to work with, will send your bridesmaids dresses to them if they do not live in the area and made booking fittings very easy!

I was initially nervous about trying Maiden Voyage, due to the poor reviews from pre-2012. However, my cousin found her dress here and had a wonderful experience, so I decided to give it a shot. WOW!! They were SO great every single step of the way. We spent literally 4 hours there on my first visit trying on dress after dress. The saleswoman was SO patient and helpful, and fantastic at her job! I actually ended up in a dress that I would never have picked on my own and am still in love with it. Once my dress came in, they allowed me to come try it on plus three fittings (ALL INCLUDED IN THE PRICE!). I had lost a considerable amount of weight between buying the dress and my wedding, so the alterations alone would have run $800-$900 at any other establishment. Yes, the initial price of the dress might be more, but it is completely worth it.My only complaint here is that many of my bridesmaids had to have their dresses taken in... I believe, though, most places err on the side of caution when ordering dresses and suggest ordering bigger rather than smaller.I would DEFINITELY recommend visiting Maiden Voyage if youre in the market for a wedding dress!

I cant say enough about Maiden Voyage, as well as my consultant Kristine! I had visited the store with my Maid of Honor a couple of months ago and made an impromptu appointment; Kristine was able to see me right away, which was super helpful. I tried on a few dresses (including the one) but didnt make a decision right then, as I wanted to make sure I had my mom and future Mother and Sister-in-Law with me, too. I returned two months later, and Kristine remembered everything: from the little details about my personal life to the style of gowns I loved the most (she even had the dress that I was considering the strongest pulled and waiting for me in our own private fitting room.) Like the first time I visited, she allowed us to pull dresses for ourselves, while she pulled some based on the style I liked and what she thought I would look good in. I had visited another Bridal Boutique earlier that day, and the experience was night and day. Im a wedding coordinator, so its not like I went in not knowing what to expect, but my consultant at the previous shop was so unhelpful and borderline rude; she rushed the ladies I was with and myself out of the door after our 1 hour appointment was over (despite the fact that because of the consultant and the store, I didnt even get to start trying dresses on until 30 minutes into my appointment!) This was not at all the case with Kristine and Maiden Voyage: she took time to listen to what I wanted, what I liked, and let me know that she wasnt about to rush us out if we went over our scheduled appointment. In short, she understood the thought process going through every brides head and knew that seeing yourself in a couple of dresses for under 30 seconds each is NOT how you decide on your dress (or make a sell, for that matter!) Not only that but she even played around with the lighting in the room, so that we could see how all the detailing on the dress would look during our evening reception AND they were willing to work with us to secure the dress I had fallen in love with. Im so looking forward to working with Kristine and Maiden Voyage throughout my engagement period, and I would highly suggest that other brides do the same! You wont be disappointed!

When I went to pick out my bridesmaid dress, they asked me if I wanted to put a down payment or pay the whole amount of the dress. I paid the full amount and was given a receipt saying that I owed $0.00. Today, I went in to pick up my dress to be told I still owed $87.00. I pulled out my receipt that said I had paid the full amount, and they said no, this was for the rush job.At no point when I first purchased the dress did they say it would be extra money to get it on time, nor was it included in the original receipt. It was frustrating because I was not expecting to pay this extra amount, and there was nothing I could do but pay because I need the dress. Also, why wasnt the extra 87.00 included on the original receipt in the first place? I was surprised they still insisted on paying the extra money even when they saw the original because it was obviously a mistake on their part.

This place has the worst customer service. They did not measure my daugther properly so now I have to pay $400.00 dollars more to have her gown altered the gown is 4 inch to long. I was told by another shop that the designer of her dress makes them order so many gowns a year in order for them to carry their line. It also took seven months to come in when it should have taken four. Also the the company that her dress came from would have altered it for free. Buyers beware. Make sure they measure you from hollow to hem.

I found my dream dress with Amy! She was absolutely amazing and asked questions that directed me towards my dress. She stuck to my budget and made things happen, knowing that my wedding was so close! I have been wedding dress shopping in the St Louis area this year. After going to many different bridal stores in the area, I came to Maiden Voyage Bridal, and I had Amber as my sales consultant. Ambers friendly attention made me feel so special and instantly put me at ease during this overwhelming process. The entire environment at maiden voyage really cemented my decision to buy our dress from them especially the private fitting rooms and individual attention to me as a bride. I had been to other stores where the consultant was meeting with multiple brides at once and we had to wait to get their attention and try our best to remember which dresses we liked because they were so distracted. At Maiden Voyage the dress selection was fabulous and they had many options in many price ranges. After purchasing my dress the owner, Ann has personally made sure that everything arrived on time and to my exact specifications. During the fitting and alterations process the highly recommended seamstress has gone out of her way to ensure my dress is polished and perfect in plenty of time for the wedding since I live out of town. Amber was an amazing consultant who truly made this an amazing experience. I would gladly recommend her to any one. She gave great advice with types and styles for my body type, she is extremely patient and caring. This store was a lifesaver. I had tried on 30+ dresses at various other stores, finding plenty of dresses I really liked, but never one I loved. Until I came here that is.The store is quaint, but very well stocked. Its actually built in an old school house and a lot of the original charm remains. The owner takes pride in finding beautiful, unique dresses that will make you stand out from the ordinary bride.My consultant, Amy, was kind and not at all pushy (unlike so many other consultants I had met), and quickly figured out my taste and what I was looking for. She quickly pulled a few dresses that matched my style exactly. The first two were absolutely gorgeous, but the 3rd one I put on was The One. I had always heard about the moment the bride becomes a bride from those cheesy wedding shows, but never knew it actually happened until it happened to me.The seamstress Donna is an absolute magician. As the wedding date approached, I needed a lot of alterations done to the dress (were talking nearly a whole size difference) and she made it happen while still keeping all of the elements I loved about the dress (the intricate lace and the real buttons that fasten all the way down the back remained in tact- as opposed to cutting out the back and making it a corset). She was the most competent seamstress I have ever had the pleasure to work with, and was very friendly as well.Throughout my alteration visits I also met the owner, Ann, a few times. She is as nice as the rest of the staff and obviously takes a lot of pride in her work, resulting in the high quality.Wedding dress, prom dress, bridesmaid dress, whatever dress youre looking for- Im now recommending Maiden Voyage to anyone I know. Their dresses are sure to dazzle you.

My daughter needed a special homecoming dress for her Senior year and she was a queen candidate. She had great help choosing a beautiful dress. The alterations were perfect. She looked like a princess in a Sheri Hill pink two piece.

This store is so cute! an old fashioned building, and the dresses are beautiful. it was a busy saturday, and i walked in without an appointment, just to see if i could look around . the man at the front desk said yes, but it would be a little while, since the consultants were with appointments. i looked at bridesmaids dresses for a few minutes, maybe ten minutes, and then someone came to help me . i found my dream dress!!! everyone was so nice, even though i came without an appointment. great store and nice ladies to help you. there were two other girls shopping at the same time as me, and we ended up in front of large mirrors in the middle of the store, comparing ideas for our weddings and admiring each others dresses!!!

When I dreamed of searching for my wedding gown, I imagined feeling pampered and special. I guess Say Yes to the Dress had influenced my thoughts! Unfortunately, when I arrived for my first appointment at a nearby salon, I was handed index cards and was told to search the racks on my own for dresses I thought I liked. My consultant wasnt interested in looking at the pictures I had brought in of the type/style of dress I was looking for. Clearly, I was not in a full service salon. Thankfully my mom made an additional phone call and Maiden Voyage saved the day! I was greeted by staff that was very excited to help me find my dream wedding dress. They were interested in looking at my pictures and hearing my vision. I was blessed to find the most perfect gown and my bridesmaids even purchased their dresses today! It was exactly the experience I was hoping for! I am grateful for the ladies who helped me and would recommend Maiden Voyage to anyone looking to find the perfect wedding or bridesmaid dress!

Maiden Voyage has an amazing selection of dresses! I did find my dress after making some changes to the design of a particular dress. The ladies there were very helpful and reassured me that the changes could be made, so I would definitely give the service & hospitality a 5 out of 5 stars.However, while it’s probably partially my fault for not asking, after making the changes I did, the price of the dress went up significantly. I had expected it to go up but not as much as it did, so if you plan on making changes to a dress ask about how that will affect the price. Aside from that, the only other thing that bothered me was that they told me AFTER I had already made my deposit that “all sales are final”. I feel like that is something the customer should be made aware of before purchasing the dress. Between the price increase and the lack of communication about sales being final, I’m giving them an overall score of 4 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed everything about my experience at Maiden Voyage! They made sure to help me find the perfect style of gown, and to fit it into my budget! I will be back to look for bridesmaids, flower girl, and mother of the bride dresses. Great experience!

One star because the dress I paid $202 for is beautiful. Subtracting four stars because I had to pay $175 in alterations because they do not know how to measure someone for a dress here. I am usually a size 0-2 in dresses and they were insisting I get a size 6 or 8 dress based on the measurements they took. I told them no I am not an 8 and I am 0-2. She talked me into getting a size 6 because she warned me I would not want it to be too small. I tried on the dress when I went to pick it up and the lady told me that they do not have someone who does alterations but that I need it hemmed and taken in, in the chest, shoulders, and waist. I now have to pay for alterations because of their lack of intelligence & measuring technique. Do not come here if you value good customer service or if you dont want to be cheated out money. Check out their yelp review because it is 2.5/5 which is honestly a generous review.

Had a wonderful experience. Found the perfect dress even with a $1000 budget. They never pressured me to go over my budget. I did end up getting a sample dress but they are fixing any problems with beading or strings and its been beautifully cared for even as a sample.Just had my first fitting and the owner made some great suggestions and even fixed the veil that I bought elsewhere. Not sure why other people had poor experience but mine was awesome.

I made an appointment at Maiden Voyage to look for a wedding dress. When I met with the consultant I told her that I wanted to keep my budget at $1000 or less. She brought back 5 dresses, though I was expecting to be able to try on more. I can’t speak for selection, because I was only shown 5 dresses and I wasn’t given an opportunity to browse at all. I think my price range was too low for this shop. I did really like one of the dresses I tried on, which was a sample that would be sold “as is” and not in my exact size. Once the consultant saw that I liked the dress she turned on the pressure. I had another appointment that day and said that I would like to come back again after I see what other options were out there, and what she responded with was just more pressure. She started bashing the other dress shop, and made me feel bad for wanting to keep looking. She was worse than a car salesman – relentless, and I ended up in tears in the fitting room. This is not how I expected my wedding dress shopping experience to go. I did continue my search and finally found the perfect dress – brand new, in my size, within my budget, with absolutely no pressure - at another shop.A word of advice to the consultants at this shop… Brides want to feel special, beautiful, and that they are making the right decision for their wedding day. What they don’t want is to be pressured into making a purchase on the spot, or made to feel bad about wanting to look around. Most of us get to do this only once. Please be respectful.

I went with a friend to choose a dress for her wedding. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dress selextion was great and we found a winner!

My wedding dress was absolutely beautiful! However, when I received my dress back (after getting fitted), it was HUGE! I ended up having to spend $600 in alterations on a dress that cost me $800. What was the point in getting fitted? I took it to a lady they recommended to me since they dont do fittings in the store, and she had to cut off 6 inches at the bottom (9 layers of dress at $25 per layer), take the dress in 4 inches at the waist and the shoulder straps had to be tightened because they were too loose. Also, every single one of my bridesmaids spent almost $100 in alterations for their dresses because they didnt fit right either (too long and/or too big). One of the girls dresses even came back with what looked like grease stains on it. While I thank Maiden Voyage for my beautiful dress, it was a major frustration of all the money that was spent on the alterations simply because measurements werent taken correctly.

We had such a fun time at Maiden Voyage. They were very helpful, not overbearing, and I found the dress of my dreams!! Love them!

I was apart of an out of town wedding and couldn’t make it to the bridesmaid fitting, so I came here to order the dress. They honored the price of the other store, which was really nice, but it took some phone calls and convincing. There were also a few employees that seemed judgmental and snooty which was unpleasant and offputting. I will probably go elsewhere if I have to order another dress.

My consultant, Jenny was very helpful! She had my price range and the style that I wanted and pulled many different dresses for me to try on. After trying them all on I had picked one that I was sure was the one, but after trying dresses on, my criteria had changed. Jenny again picked a lot of dresses that fit my new criteria and I found my absolute dream dress! I love it and cant wait to wear it on my day. She was so helpful in getting me in and out of dresses and giving me the full experience by showing veil options and showing me how it would look in different lighting. She was like a fairy godmother because I certainly felt like Cinderella.

I went to Maiden Voyage Bridal, looking for a white prom dress. Without finding anything in the prom section, I asked to see the bridal dresses. Which I could possibly pass for a prom dress. The lady that was assisting me asked what my price range was and I told her I didn’t really have one. I then asked again to see them. She went to one of the ladies in the front. Taken back and shaking her head no, she said to her co worker, “She wants to look in the bridal section.” The other lady turned to me and said, no because they start at 1,000 dollars and up.I would of been completely fine with spending that amount but after their comments and feeling judged, I had no interest in trying to look there any longer.

While the lady at the front desk was not very welcoming, the lady that tried to find a dress I would like was very kind and didnt try to pressure me into getting something I didnt like. However, I didnt feel like there was much variety at all between the dresses and there were absolutely 0 that were even close to what I was wanting (which is not anything crazy). I was very discouraged after leaving this place (it was my first place I started looking) but luckily I went elsewhere and found lots of options that were my style.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I found my dress right away with their assistance. So happy we came!

My cousins girlfriend went in there looking for a prom dress finding nothing of interest she asked to see the bridal dresses. She was turned down because of the starting price which was $1000. She was totally find with spending that. But to be discriminated and turned down because they may of looked as if they couldn’t pay I am disgusted and disappointed such a well talked about and professional place would do that.

Overall poor experience. Associates were not very pleasant. I came in to try on a bridesmaid dress for size and there first (and second) question was, are you buying the dress from us?

Had a great experience with Maiden Voyage Bridal! Everyone I interacted with at the salon from start to finish was great. For the initial shopping trip, we had been to two other stores in the morning and were feeling a bit discouraged- Kristine picked dresses that were really what I was looking for from the start. Three dresses in and that was it! She really knew the dresses they had. She even stayed under my budget, which wasnt one of those crazy SYTTD budgets, and help me find an amazing glitzy belt to go with my dress (ok, then we hit my budget - but still didnt go over!). The alterations were very carefully done and the detail is amazing. Im a little short and my dress has a detailed lace bottom, and they were able to shorten it and reattach the lace detail at the bottom so that it looks like it was that way to start. The seamstress listened to every concern I had and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Everyone I interacted with at Maiden Voyage was extremely friendly. Looking forward to wearing my dress on the beach in two weeks!

Have been here twice, once for myself and again for a friends wedding. Both times the workers were very rude, and uptight. If you want a good friendly environment to shop for your wedding or prom DONT GO HERE.

Im a women of color, I walked in with a smile looking for a beautiful prom dress. I was treated as if I only went in there to steal and when I left she walked me to the door to confirm that it was the exit of the store. I dont reccomend this to anyone but caucasian women. Good luck

I couldnt have asked for a better experience! It was my first day looking for that perfect dress and after going to so many other bridal shops all day and coming out unsure and not having many options of dresses that I liked, but when I came to Maiden Voyage Bridal I was shocked about how many dresses I picked out to try on. Everyone was extremely friendly from the minute I walked in until the minute I left. Kristine helped me with one of my most special moments ever of FINDING THE DRESS! My dress actually came in below our budget which was shocking as well. I fully recommend them for any bride looking for their perfect dress for the perfect day. Dont waste your time like I did looking at a bunch of other stores because THIS IS THE STORE!

Rude and bad service. I am absolutely appalled at the service here. A friend of mine was rudely stereotyped and was told that she couldn’t look at the bridal dresses simply because they were $1,000 and up. The ladies assumed that she couldn’t afford such a price and I don’t reccommed this place for this particular reason.

Dont go here!!!! They are soo rude and all they care about is money. They dont care about taking care of you or making you happy. They are not cheap either so you would think they would be so nice and helpful. Not that at all. The owner Ann, so horrible and soo rude. Please Please dont go here. Im happy to know Im not the only one with problems at this store. They have taken $1400 from me and I have nothing to show for it! No dress or anything. How can that be right?
