Small store with a huge selection, local, domestic and import.. They even had my favorite beer, cold: Franzenskanner! Prices are on par. Ill be back before I head home!

Decent liquor store for downtown. I have been a customer since they were located across the street way back in the day. I dont like giving Rileys/The Vineyard/etc. my money because they are a bunch of cheapskates and crooks. I have known the Rileys people for almost 30 years and know this very well, if you think the Dragonlady is mean, her husband is ten times as cheap! I usually buy discounted beer and liquor here and can get great deals!

One of the greatest stores around. Awesome service, ridiculous clearances, knowledgeable staff, and a ton of personality. Ive converted tons of people into lifelong customers by bringing them inside. Only Steves on University comes close!

University Avenue Liquor is the best liquor store I have ever been to. Their employees are very knowledgable. The best part is the discounts: $4 for a 6 pack of craft beer? Yes please!!!!Wisconsin is known for not messing around: Madison has one liquor store that proves it, I wouldnt go anywhere else. If you are in a liquor store and you notice the charge is $0.50 for a can of soda: you know you are being taken care of.The staff are knowledgeable, delightful people. The discounts on blowout liquor and beer are ridiculous. Ive never seen anywhere like this place. This is the best liquor store Ive ever seen. Stop missing out- come to the best liquor store in Madison if you want to be taken care of.

UAL is well stocked on anything you could need. Great beer selection and theyre all super helpful with recommendations. Its been my go to store for years with out a doubt. And free keg delivery!

Was disappointed after expecting good things. If you enjoy 40 different IPA style beers in bombers circa 2015 then this is the place for you. The guy working the register wasnt very helpful, and when asked if they had any sours or wild ales he said no because they suck. Not sure if he was the owner or the purchaser. He seemed more interested in discussing the secondary value of Macallan instead of providing anything remotely deserving of customer service to make a sale. I will not be returning to this venue when I am back in Madison

The guy at the counter was very rude and interrogated me just because I had an out-of-state drivers license. I had to dig my military ID out of my wallet before he would make the sale. The entire transaction was very unpleasant and I will be taking future business to their competitors.

Clean & well stocked in all areas of spirits- Prices arent bad, staff knowledgeable about their products- Will always go there first to look for top rail spirits.

One of the few places to find beer brewed by legendary Toppling Goliath of Decorah, Iowa. Their canned beer is brewed under license in Lakeland, Florida, but the bottled beer, known as bombers, are brewed by Toppling Goliath themselves. Both bottled and canned, its not pasteurized. That means its considered fresh beer, and must be kept refrigerated.

If they dont have it, you dont need it. Super fast service and delivery. Park in back for keg pickup.

Ive seen a better selection at Hyvee. Has the standard fare of well known and widely carried micro brews and the normal seasonal offerings of New Glarus beer.
