My friend and I made appointments and came in to be fitted for bras. I cannot express how impressed we were with not only our purchases, but also the staff and wide selection! Trillian and Meredith took their time to make sure we both found exactly what we needed/wanted. They answered all of our questions and even wrote down notes for next time (our sizes in different styles, bras we liked but couldn’t afford at the time, etc). Overall, we had an AMAZING experience and will definitely be coming back! La Lingerie is the best place to go for bra fittings and selections in the Madison area!!!

La Lingerie provides extraordinary service. Due to a chronic illness, I have special needs for my undergarments, as the hardware on bras causes cuts on my very delicate skin and seams cause a lot of pain and sometimes even abrasions. Meredith worked with me to find alternatives to traditional bras, even recommending items they dont sell. Their stock includes every size available, theyre great about special orders, and they emphasize body positivity. They help women be much more comfortable with their bras instead of loathing them as we so often do. The way theyve adapted to the pandemic is also impressive. Theyve created virtual fittings done via video chat, after which they will either send or have you pick up bras to try at home for a deposit of $50–100. Now that our county is in a phase 1 reopening, theyre having in-store fittings by appointment only, with no more than five people total allowed in the store at a time. They maintain six feet of distance at all times, having customers take their own measurements and recommending adjustments to the bras rather than coming into contact to make them. The creativity theyve shown is just one more example of how remarkable a business they are. My only complaint: their store is not accessible to people with disabilities, as there are two flights of stairs. Luckily I was in good shape the last time I went, but I do have times when I cant climb stairs at all. Other women with disabilities may not be so fortunate as to have periods of time when stairs are doable. Given how much theyve helped me find bras that work with my condition, its a shame some women with disabilities will be excluded.

My fitting was so great. The process was very detailed and I was able to find a great fit. It definitely exceeding my expectations!

Best fitting ever!!! Finding the place was super easy as there are signs pointing where to go! When I walked in I was immediately asked if I would like water or tea. I was then brought back to a very spacious private fitting room. Megan was super helpful and made my experience very enjoyable! She was very knowledgeable and had really good taste in what colors and styles of bras I would like! She was very friendly and didn’t feel pressure or rushed to make a decision. There was a great selection of bras she found for me as well! I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I’m delighted to recommend La Lingerie. I love going to the shop, and now I love shopping online. The store is beautiful, the fitting rooms are private, the selection is outstanding, and the staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and kind. For the first time, I have bras that fit perfectly. In fact, I had so many choices, it was hard to decide which ones to buy. I also love the online store. I ordered a Wacoal chemise, a Simone Perele high- waisted brief and a JETS swimsuit. I love buying bras here! The fitter takes a quick measurement and talks with you about what youre looking for. Then she brings in all of the bras in the store that might be a good match and helps with fitting and adjusting as needed. Its really easy, comfortable and not at all judgemental. Prices were around $80 to $100 for the bras that I looked at. Definitely more than I would spend at a regular store, but totally worth the investment in my opinion, because I know I have something that fits right and is comfortable.

Wish I had done this sooner! My fitter was fantastic and really helpful. They are super body positive and seem to really just want to help women feel comfortable in their own skin (and underwear) no matter their size. A million times better experience than anything Ive tried in the past. Seriously, ladies... skip VS and go here instead! Thank you for your help today!

There is construction going on that makes it difficult to get onto the store. When they call to confirm pay attention to their instructions. Bra fitting was good. They have a lot selection and sizes.

I just had a great experience here! I believe my fitters name was Allison. I did not have a reservation, but she was kind enough to help me out anyway. This time I just wandered in, however, I would recommend making an appointment for first timers or re-fittings.Allison was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. She very quickly found out the problem with the size I had been wearing. She deciphered my correct size. I spent 20 minutes here, tops.The bras are on the more expensive side (I had a budget of $50 and ended up spending $90) but you ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for! I believe all of their bras are imported from France and also England. It is really important to note that they do a 15% off student discount if you have your ID!!Everything I saw and tried on was absolutely fantastic quality. I would definitely go back, in fact I signed up with them and started my own little wish-list, and I will absolutely recommend them for anyone who needs a professional fitting.

Had such a wonderful experience at La Lingerie today! Megan was my fitter. She and the other staff members were knowledge, professional and so helpful! I have never had a real bra fitting, aside from a 30 second quick measurement at Victorias Secret. It was so nice to have someone bring me bras they thought would suit/fit me in a one on one environment! I thought the price range was super fair too. I left with three bras, each ranging from 50-80 dollars in price. Two of the bras were even 15% off which was a happy surprise!It should also be noted that they cater to a wide variety of sizes. I am a 40D/DD and they carried so many options in my size! I even left with a set of panties (XL) which fit me wonderfully :) Ill definitely be returning in the near future!

I am so happy I decided to make the visit. As a full figured woman I have trouble finding a good fit. In department store fittings they dont carry my size so I cant try them on. I not only found a great fit, I left with 4 new bras. The prices are right in line with others I have purchased. I didnt have sticker shock at all. The fitting was handled in a professional manner, it was similar to visiting a seamstress. I will absolutely be recommending La La Lingerie to my friends and be making more visits in the future.

Lovely atmosphere and environment, but not the most welcoming for someone who knows what they need and doesn’t want to be sold the whole store. It doesn’t say on Google or their website that you must have an appointment, but I was told I needed one. The website says an appointment is recommended for fitting. Well, I know my fit very well and even more specifically, the brand- Freya bras are just hard to find and I saw online that this is the only local place who sells this brand. (I usually buy them online after I was sized in Brookfield awhile back, but it’s a long drive From Madison for a bra and I wanted one by Monday.) I wasn’t sure if they were annoyed that I came 15 min before close or that I new what I wanted and wasn’t interest in making an appointment for a 90 min bra fitting for them to try and sell me things I know I don’t want. I just wanted to know if they had a Freya bra in my size that I could purchase because they are a shop that sells bras and that is what I came there for, but they seemed annoyed as they handed me two other bras that were of a different brand and size that, of course, did not fit. I felt ignorant for not knowing I needed an appointment, but I really didn’t because I know my size and what I want. Why couldn’t they just tell me if they had it or not and not try to sell me something I didn’t ask for and make me feel like a jerk because I didn’t know ahead of time and don’t want to book a 90min appointment I don’t need.

My experience visiting La Lingerie have been empowering, educational and fun. After years of just being familiar with the name, I finally went and now its hard to imagine going anywhere else. While the store has countless beautiful bras and panties for every size, I was the most pleasantly surprised by the options for nursing bras (which are super hard to fit with a changing pregnant and nursing body) and swimwear (soo many options Ive never seen other places!). Id definitely vote this store THE BEST place in Madison to shop for a swimsuit, nursing bra and any other of your lingerie needs. It also feels great to support a locally owned and operated store with the inspiring mission statement to empower women. From what I have seen, this shop lives up to that mission across the board-- from their fundraisers for DAIS, to the personalized and custom experience everyone seems to receive and everything in between. Took my girlfriend there because she could never find a great fitting bra anywhere, she is a 30F, which most places would never have. Megan was her adviser and its so nice how to get a no rush one on one experience to find the right bra. My girlfriend is so very happy with the service and products. Went for a first time fitting and the ladies were so nice and accommodating! I was offered tea and coffee right away which I thought was amazing. I was given lots of options but they unfortunately did not have as many as I had hoped for in my size but they do offer band alterations so I will be getting that done.

The attention to detail and making you feel like someone is there to help you with something that all ladies have troubles with. I will be coming back thats for sure! I would highly recommend!

Lets just say I didnt know bra-shopping could be fun. I have had professional fittings in many department stores, but no one has ever fit me so quickly and accurately and with such meticulous detail. The first-time fitting takes a good hour and a half, not because it takes that long to find a bra that fits, but because it takes so long to sort through all the ones that do. These women know what they are doing and they know their stock, too. Its pricey, but if youre like me and have been searching for years for a bra that actually fits, its worth it.

If you are on a quest for great bras and are aware that well constructed bras are an investment (aka, can be expensive), this is a great place! Appointments only (I believe). Wow, what a gem of a place! DO make an appointment to help you understand the sizing. Especially if you have trouble finding good fitting bras because of a shape issue, they will hook you up (haha that pun cracks me up!) And since youre there check out the bike, coffee, and wine shops in the terminal mall. Its a very interesting place!

I love this innovative business which Madison has finally been lucky enough to have. The owner is amazing, as are her staff. They are creative and accommodating. I have purchased all of my bras from La Langerishop since I had my first visit and will continue. Parking spaces are even set side for the business and on busy UW Football days that is just a great idea.The only problem I have: as a woman in my late 60s it is not always easy for me to go up this flight of stairs to get to the shop. I wish there was better access to the second floor but seems impossible in this situation. It does not seem to be a problem, for the younger more fit customers which is good.. It is not a show stopper for me yet, but I imagine if I discussed it with the owner she would think of something creative for me.I do love this place! Recommend it for all. Wide variety of prices.

This was the best bra-fitting experience Ive ever had. I worked with Alison, who was professional and discrete as well as informative (I learned a lot about bra fit and how to properly put one on, and Ive been wearing one for 18 years!); I felt very comfortable and secure, not at all self-conscious. She really took my personal bra needs into consideration. We must have gone through at least 20 items very quickly, but it was not awkward or stressful. She helped me decide yes or no on every item right away, and at the end laid out all of the yes items neatly on a table and gave me plenty of time on my own to re-try all of them. Im amazed that there is no extra fee for this delightful experience (besides the purchase of a bra, ranging $50-150). I love the wishlist, where they keep track of items that fit well or that I liked but didnt purchase today (they can use that for customers, as well as to help spouses and significant others with gift-giving!).
