Oh my goodness!! I love this store. I’m a HUGE paper fan and I was not disappointed. I traveled from Cleveland for a few days and had to go twice, just because I had FOMO! So great. I hope it stays busy… it was packed this week!! Yay!!

Wow! I have bought my Christmas presents here for the past couple years and it is the BEST place for presents. The prices are so reasonable or even inexpensive for gifts, and they have a gift for everyone! The gifts I get here are always the biggest hits of Christmas and they gift wrap too, and the wrap is so nice!

Best stationary store in Madison! I had been looking high and low for postcards and couldnt find any anywhere. Then I dropped by this place, and in addition to a bunch of other adorable and practical stationary items, I found an absolute wealth of both Madison postcards and others. They range from a picture of the State Capitol, to Eatings from Madison with drawings of local food, to random cards with cute cats that make very random cat-related statements such as, Cats have nine lives, or Curiosity killed the cat, with NO explanation on why they said this, other than some writing in Chinese. Hilarious and quirky!

Definitely the best type of atmosphere for those who enjoy crafts and trinkets! Full of tiny charming gifts, like stickers, clothing pins and patches, papercrafts, sketchbooks, sewing supplies, imported goods, and an interesting upstairs area. I struggle to leave with only one or two items every time I go in rather than buying the whole shop. Though the store is small, since their products are as well you can spend hours examining all their merchandise if you have the patience.

I absolutely love places like this, and this was just one of the best ones Ive been to. They have an immense selection of stickers, cards, and just about any other paper good you would want. As someone who still sends mail, I absolutely love a place where I can go pick up some locally made cards and products to send out to friends.

I love stationary and this place is heaven on earth. There’s so much in such a small space, yet it isn’t overwhelming. They had a variety of paper products, like journals, washi tape, pens, stickers, you name it. I noticed a decent amount of Asian products there, which tend to be my personal favourite as they’re often smaller than items I could typically get from Barnes and Noble.

Im a regular journal and letter writer. I live in NYC and love my stationary stores there, but Id put Anthology up against any of them.

This is an amazing local business––I dont know why, but I thought it was a chain store. I was very wrong! I go in there mostly to buy beautiful sheets of paper (wrapping paper, some handcrafted)... similar to what the chain store Papyrus sells, but much more reasonably priced and with an amazing selection. The store is full of other delightful items, definitely a cool place to buy supplies for crafts, or Wisconsin-themed gift items, or seriously hilarious original refrigerator magnets, or handmade political buttons. Go! : )

Anthology is my favorite store in Madison! Every staff member is friendly, engaging and passionate about the work they do. Anthology demonstrates that you can be a successful small business while also being ethical and welcoming and standing up for what you believe in, specifically inclusivity and love! My favorite little store in Madison! Tons of cool little trinkets and a bunch of awesome, artsy Madison/Wisconsin/Midwest-themed items from t-shirts to postcards to decor. A very fun store for buying gifts for people - and not outrageously expensive like some kitschy gift shops can be. Keep in mind that Google has mismarked the location, and will send you to the street behind the shop.

Postcards are always the first things I hunt down in a new city and Anthology did not disappoint! I love the house made ones.
