Johnson Fitness & Wellness, previously 2nd Wind Exercise Equipment, has the best selection of home fitness equipment including new and used products. I was specifically looking for a home treadmill and this store was perfect, with a selection that covered from around $500 to commercial health club priced treadmills. The sales person seemed to know everything about the products and was helpful answering my questions.

Scott Barkelew was a wonderful person to deal with. He was very, knowledgeable and kind. He went out of his way to demonstrate, explain and listen throughout my entire buying experience. His humble attitude and the no pressure to buy environment that he provided strongly influenced me to purchase the recumbent exercise bike from him. Over the summer I was trying to get my hands on some Bowflex 1090s dumbbells for a home gym. With covid-19, finding workout equipment was nearly impossible or it was overly expensive. I found Johnson Fitness had a pair of these on hand that I could try out before I purchased. They also told me they were expecting to get some soon, so if I placed my order I would be third in line to receive a pair.Id already been waiting months to purchase a set from Bowflex directly so I gambled and put down a deposit. Less than two weeks later I got the call to pickup my purchase. Not only did I get them sooner than expected, I also got them for less than Bowflex was selling them for and nearly half the price they were going for on eBay!Extremely pleased with the service and product. I wish they had a larger assortment of bench for large people (Im 66) as I would have bought one of those right away too.

Scott and Bill are very knowledgeable very friendly and very approachable. They know what theyre talking about and no question I had was too stupid they understand, I would highly recommend going in there before going anywhere else and Scott sold me a treadmill which I use everyday I have a lot of physical problems and Ive noticed since Ive been using the treadmill that Ive been getting a little bit better thank you Scott!

Scott sold me a massage chair Im an older man and let me tell you I Love It! I was having cramping and muscle soreness and at the end of each day I sit it in and about 1/2 hour later I feel good a new! Thank you Scott

Salesperson was knowledgeable and helpful, but Lifespan product quality has suffered.I purchased a new treadmill, paid for the delivery and setup.It was delivered DOA, Lifespan took a week to send an old used console, Warranty staff were not available to replace it, so I installed it myself, and it works. So I purchased a new treadmill and within a week I had a refurbished treadmill, and I had to fix it myself.

Ive gone by the store a couple times. Once I was in the market for dumbbells. The latest time my girlfriend wanted a piece of cardio equipment. For the nice rubber weights you can get them for $2 a pound. Ridiculous. Go to a sporting goods store and you can get them for less. Now we hoped to get a deal on the cardio equipment. I can buy it brand new online for $1550. They asked $1495. We were astounded. After applying a special coupon it went down to $1450. So $100 less for used equipment. Dont forget shipping. The manufacturer provides free shipping. I see no mention of that anywhere for 2nd Wind. Based on every other price Ive seen Im sure the cost is outlandish. I dont understand how they are still in business. If people only paid attention to prices.
