VW Tiguan 2014 & Smart Fortwo 2008 - After many years of trying various products unsuccessfully, finally, ProClip USA exceeded my expectation by making a mount specifically for my cars and identifying the only place it could be mounted on. I used their product and then attached a different manufacturer mount to it, and it works perfectly.
After trying many mounts, ProClip offers the best solution. Very solid custom fit high on my dash for safety. It is pricy, but well worth the spend. I highly recommend.
Good experience. Purchased a mount for my GPS in a 2018 Ford Edge. Works good, I would recommend the product, Reason a 4 due to the holder with GPS blocks a temperature control, but not bad enough to have it removed.
**Yet another ProClip product Im 110% satisfied with!**Dash mount fits securely, installs easily, and I was able to position it such that I have access to audio and climate systems controls - AND able to insert/retrieve CDs.Holds my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G securely while driving, easy to get phone into/out-of holder.Email contact with ProClip re purchase confirmation, shipping, and tracking all top-notch as well. For reference this is the FIFTH mount/holder combo Ive bought/installed/use and swear-by. Highly recommend, worth EVERY PENNY. Other vehicles I own and have ProClip products installed on include:2010 Jeep Wrangler JK Sport;2014 Jeep Wrangler JK Sport (mentioned because dashboards wayy different between these model years);2003 Jaguar XJS (our long-haul road cruiser);1995 Chevy S10 (our wood-hauler).**DISCLAIMER** I am in now way employed by ProClip, I am writing this (and other) review completely due to my belief in and satisfaction with this company and their products.
The quality of the product is excellent. Weve been reselling this product for years. Weve also have had great luck installing these in commercial vehicles.
The clip they sent for my Mazda CX-3 is not even close to being able to mount where they show it.
To have a good product, but they need to get their order multiple parts and it had problems with every bit of a. In customer service is provided no solution. Its definitely a mismanaged Company, at least as far as delivery of product and customer service.
I have this in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Good quality product, very easy install, and holds my phone exactly as it should. I am happy with it!
I’ve purchased multiple proclip products not only for the last two vehicles I’ve owned, but also for having at home for my phone and tablet. Great fitment for my truck and perfect for using as stand for my home products. Highly recommended, great for yourself or for gifts!!
The 2-minute mounting process for my $90 iPhone/Prius ProClip turned into 3+ hours thanks to the swivel piece inside the adjustable holder having been reversed. Didnt know I was expected to do quality control and careful analysis before attempting the job. So much for taking the advice of Car Talk. Yeah I know; they dont make any claims for products...
Im surprised by the negative reviews which inspired me to write this positive review.Ive used Pro-Clips on my last 8 or so vehicles ranging in older used vehicles to brand new and the results overwhelmingly positive each time. The clips arrived quickly and were super easy to install. Id advise anyone installing one for the first time to take it slow and follow the instructions. Sometimes the clips are quite tight which is why they stay in place - use the prying tool to make space where needed to fit the clip in.Each time Ive removed the clips (sometimes after years) there is never a trace left behind. Just wipe down the area and its like new!
These guys are the best! They make it so easy to install the mounts and use them. In fact I got into a wreak at a combined 80 mph and the thing that lightened the mood during that was the phone stayed in place while the hood left the car and bent to hell.
I have an 18 Jeep Rubicon that I drive on a daily basis as well as on the trails. I was extremely pleased with the easy install. The function of the cell phone holder has been great, whether Im driving around town or taking the Jeep off-roading. It has been raining every week for the past month, but decided to take the Jeep to an off-roading park. We slipped and slid all over the park, but my cell phone stayed in place throughout the entire trip. Im still amazed that it never budged or fell. I also like that I can use the mount horizontal or vertical. I recently bought a dash cam and am hoping to add a mount from ProClip for that as well. I would highly recommend ProClip to anyone looking for a mount for any of their electronic devices.
Had a question on my order and customer service was right there, responsive and excellent. Great company and great customer service.
So... I have purchased many device holders and accessories for my truck! ProClip has BY FAR the most seamless process from start to finish. Easy to pick my mount and device holder, order process was easy, shipping was fast, unboxing was SOOO EASY, and with the YouTube Install Tutorials: install was a BREEZE! QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY!installed IPad Pro 10.5” on my 18’ Ram 2500! Get the extra strength mount, it makes it taller and easier to swivel!
I have had pro clip (both with and without the Oliv attachment) for nearly 5 years. I have never had a problem with them. I am a huge fan. You pay for what you get. The other cheaper phone mounts I have in my car either didnt keep my phone in place (wobble all over), fall out of the mount, or left scratches all over the vents. The Pro clip didnt do any of these cons. I would buy again for any car I have in the future.
ProClip has things half right. The actual phone holder (when you select the right sized one) is actually very nice. It holds the phone right and the charger connection is really convenient. Where they fail a bit is in the bracket. They try to simplify the installation too much. The one I used on my E39 would be better if it screwed into something (the Z3 one is a little better, but similar system). Instead, they opted for a knife-edge that inserts between the console and HVAC panel. The edge isnt really strong enough and cracks easily. My advice is to find a Panavise mount and use the ProClip phone holder. Thats the best combo.
ProClip phone mounts are always my go to phone mount for each new vehicle I get! Always well made and designed! I have used them in Corvette’s, Porsches, Silverado’s and most recently in my Jeep Wrangler JL!
Bought a dash mount for a 2007 Wrangler. opened up the package and it fell apart into multiple pieces. no instructions and a link to a youtube video which did not correspond to the unit I bought. Absolute garbage and not worth the $70 I paid for about 25 cents of plastic. poor engineering and I would not recommend their product. another example of garbage Chinese products sold by an overzealous US marketer. I wish I had the opportunity to give it a 0 star.
I just bought the Oliv AMPS Mount and immediately contact ProClips to tell them about a problem I was having. The problem being that there are two magnets that separate when I pull my phone away from the holder. The solution I was given was to detate the product at an angle. When you pay $30+ for a magnet and another $30+ for the base which attaches to the car, there shouldnt be special way to make it work. It should just work! This separation problem was not indicated on the product discription and is a defect in function. If the two pices stayed together then the product great, but they dont! This is the BS reason for not approving my return/exchange.Since you have already installed your Oliv AMPS Mount and utilized an adhesive shim, the product is now considered used and is non-returnable.Per upper management, the product will not be able to be returned for a refund, and a new order would need to be placed at this time. The issue you are experiencing with the removal of your device from the Oliv AMPS Mount can be avoided by using the flick-of-the-wrist to the left or right.Hmm, this doesnt solve the problem. This should detract in the first place. Im not sure what happen because proclips used to stand behind their products. I guess they dont anymore. Buyer beware!!
Great mounts and device holders for vehicles. I have nothing but good experiences with customer service.
This is the only phone holder worth buying. If you want to replace that cheap 20 dollar one from wally world every 2 months go ahead. But these are custom fit for every car and every device. Well worth the money. You spend 700 buks on a phone. Buy a quality phone holder made in america. For you negative people that cant figure out how to put a couple screws in go to wally world n get your next one or two or 6. Wen ordering it literally shows you how its assembled in your car with your exact holder... Really... now you cant even understand pictures either wow... you dont deserve quality american made products... get the chinese crap then. Proclips your the best.
Ordered the extra strength proclip mount for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler and am unsatisfied with both the product and the company. $50 plus shipping for $5 worth of plastic and $2 worth of labor. The extra strength mount is nothing more then 2 pieces of epoxied plastic. The primary surface for mounting devices is thin, textured ABS, 1/8 or less thick. Once mounted in the vehicle according to their instructions, the primary mounting areas with the premarked AMP mounting holes flex so much that the mounting of any device for use in a Wrangler while off roading is NOT recommended. The device will bounce and vibrate thereby making it unusable. Of course, when I uploaded a video to their facebook page showing how their product was unsatisfactory they instead chose to deflect, misrepresent, and blame the customer. Garbage product and terrible excuse for customer service.
Horrible Service, Company, Products !! I had bought an IPhone 6 charging cradle from this company I connected it to test, right away my phone gave me an error message saying this is not a supported device. I called the company and they quickly issued an RMA saying they knew about the problem, I had to pay to ship a faulty unit back they don’t provide labels. They had the cradle for over four weeks I had to call several times to see why it was being delayed they explained they were swamped with returns. Finally almost 6 weeks later the unit arrives with a sticker saying it was repaired I connect the unit to power(USB) and know I get the charging error every other time. I call the company for help they tell me I’m doing something wrong and they have never had any Iphone 6 cradles comeback only mine. I asked them to provide an authorized reseller or installer in my area NYC just about over 20 million people in my 40-50 mile radius they had no suggestions and said I’m doing it wrong, its just a USB cable on the other end I must be doing something wrong, probably NOT since I have able to charge my phone every day using other cables and devices. I have been trying to contact a manager about a refund I’m always transferred to voice mail no call back yet. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Verry good service
