Best Walmart in the Madison area from the ones I’ve been to. They do a great job on my online pickup orders also. Meat is a bit high right now though. Would’ve been a 5 star review otherwise.

The grocery pick up situation last night was really stressful. Waited with 13 other cars for over an hour to get my order. I think their staff may have ghosted them. Give people better pay, staffing and working conditions. Thats why things were a mess last night. But Im happy to say the manager Nancy stepped in like a boss and got things moving as soon as she found out the issue. She pulled out other workers to help and the job got going. Thank you for solving the problem Nancy and thanks to the staff who stepped up to help. Good work making the situation better!!

Grocery pickup was fantastic here when it first started. Its gone so far downhill since then. The last time I was there, they gave my order to someone else. I had to jump through so many hoops to get a refund for their mistake. Then tonight I waited in the pickup area for over an hour and a half to get my groceries. No explanations for the delay other than they were busy, and not one person apologized for the inconvenience. I will not be shopping here again.

Nothing was stocked. There was literally nothing in the deli. I have to say, the clothing was clean, which is unusual. There wasnt anything to be messy!

All of my pick up experiences have been slow, but not unbearable til today. Waited 45 minutes (I will acknowledge there were 2 people unloading quite a few large orders before me) to wind up leaving empty handed. The order I placed online was substituted but the employee came out with a different substitution that wouldn’t work. Couldn’t do a partial order or cancellation there so I’m stuck going elsewhere and hope my order is cancelled. I’d prefer target

Every employee seemed upset or just plain hated their lives.. Maybe one of the biggest companies in the world can offer better pay or something to make them not hate going to work.

Walmart sucks by default, but this place?! TERRIBLE! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!They just did a massive renovation and dont even have the staff to check people out!! The last month plus that Ive gone you are lucky if one checkout lane is staffed. Just took me an extra 20 minutes to check myself out because I had a cart full and there were no staffed checkout lanes. When I asked if they were opening a check out line they directed me, and my full cart, to self check out. Meanwhile some Karen next to me refused to check themselves out and an associate lead them to self check out and checked out each item for them there. Seems counterproductive.Had it been a shopping trip for myself, I would have left my cart and gone somewhere else. Unfortunately it was for a client and I didnt have time to run around Madison and to a different store. I will definitely be encouraging my clients to avoid Walmart like the plague!I feel sorry for the underpaid, understaffed employees, but I will NEVER shop Walmart for myself.

Some of the staff (curbside pickup) wear ear buds and apparently use them to ignore the people to avoid answering questions.

Long lines. Employee s manager acted like they didnt want to be there. A girl at costume service working 4 p.m. Was slow. Raciest. You can tell by the way she talks to people of color. White people she treated bad. Stood 30 minutes in line wouldnt call for help. Wal Mart can do better. Open. Money center back up

I took a picture of this very unpleasant associate at the Nakoosa trail in Walmart. She watched me the entire time I was checking out. I asked her is why she was staring at me. She just ignored me and I asked her again abd she says because its my job. I said thats nice you dont need to sit there and wat h me like Im going to steal something. Then she proceeds to say thank you Im going to do it anyway! I said your going to tell me that if someone was just staring at you while you were checking out you would be fine. I said no you wouldnt you would act like they thought you were going to steal something. I said its not your job y9u are suppose to be walmong around. She says there is no one else here. A few minutes later more people come up but she just stays there. I finish up and as I finish up I notice that she is only paying attention to white people this way. The other people there she paid no attention too. She then moved from the position she was in to where she is when I took this picture. She was very rude. I will be making a formal complaint to walmart.

This Walmart is a pretty large one with a good selection. Its certainly not updated and looks quite run down, however the stock is usually filled up well, theres a good amount of staff even though there is rarely a good amount of checkouts open. Steer clear of produce, keep your head down, dont make eye contact with anyone, and youll have an inexpensive and quick shopping experience 😅

This walmart reminds me of Texas. They had everything I needed that TSA wouldnt allow on a carryon. I even picked up a new belt (which I forgot at home). Its also < 5mins from the airport. Perfect for my needs.

Was attacked in the check out line by a mother and daughter . They got between me and my daughter in law and started a fight over a spot in line. It was insane!!!!!

Asked for something they had listed on their website as available. When I went in they confirmed they had it but after waiting 45 minutes and asking multiple times to confirm someone was retrieving it (it was a large item). I left empty handed. Non one was rude but no one told me it would take so long until the last guy I asked basically said it was a mess back there huge waste of my time and kind of ridiculous how incompetently managed this store must be.

I was notified my pick up order was ready. Sat in my spit for 45 minutes before it was brought out. There were 3 of us there. By the time I pulled out all of the spots were full and there were about 6 cars in line waiting to get a spot to pick up their order...never again will I use this location. Im patient but this was extreme.

Ok I only gave it a 3 star because it was messy. I think they are in the middle of remodeling, moving departments, cleaning up the back to school nightmare and bringing fall merchandise out. Staff was helpful, not only to me but I had seen them helping others too. If it wasnt so messy they would gotten a better review. Maybe they should do that at night or weekdays when the traffic isnt so busy.

Good selection. Properly stocked. The cashier we had was completely blah. Not a single hello, how are you, thanks for stopping. I truly dont think she spoke a single word to us.

They got almost everything you need and they got a good rep.

Always best prices and best collection. Grocery Pickup is free and fast. They have dedicated parking place for grocery pickup, this is different than in-store pickup.

It was an older gentleman greeter really made my day help me out big time love the store

The place was fine, seemed like there was some construction going on in several departments, I had to wait to use the bathroom, which is understandable. I needed a lightbulb for my headlight, which were in a locked cabinet. I pressed the “press for assistance “ button, and waited. Pressed it again 10 minutes later, and again 5 minutes after that. After almost 25 minutes of standing in the automotive section pressing the help button and asking an associate for help who walked by on his cell phone and said he’d send someone my husband and I called the service desk from inside the store. After half an hour I went to go find someone. I would’ve went somewhere else but I couldn’t leave because I had a headlight out 😅Ridiculous!! One of worst customer service experiences ever.

This is not the first time this has happened to me. I sat at the pick up area for an hour and nobody came to my car. I called pick up and sat on hold for 30 more minutes. Only to be asked if I could reschedule. This is pathetic. Do better walmart. If I could go less than one star I would.

Gotta love Walmart for one stop shopping and cheap prices. Not PC but the employees appear to be happy to work there and it is a life saver for those with limited income to purchase essential items clothes diapers food school supplies etc.

They say the products are locally produced but the employees admit they are shipped in from out of state. Many are from out of the country. Better pricing at other locations.

Ordered something online and went for no contact pickup. no one answered the call for pickup so i went inside. then again i asked an associate who told me someone would come with my item. no one came. i asked another person and he had walkie-talkied for service for me. still no one came. finally someone brought me my item, but the whole thing took nearly 20 minutes.

Sheer lack of give a *^%# in most departments. Brian in electronics prevailed, and is really the only reason a solid 2 was held. 9/10 of them just have zero desire to be of assistance. You hear them sighing heavily when something besides a generic blow off answer is requested. And PS the mask should cover your nose or it’s sort of a mute point.

Both associates I needed help from were able to help me and were good to me! It is also very refreshing to go these places and not have to deal with wearing mask and all that covid junk

Ive been shopping at this Walmart since they opened. We shopped there last night and it was awful. Store was in complete disaray, shelves were practically empty all over the store and there were only 2 check out lines open, with long lines. After waiting in a line that didnt move for 10 minutes, we decided to go to self check out. The young lady working in self check out was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, she was under age and couldnt approve our wine purchase. She repeatedly called for a manager to come over and approve the purchase. Finally, after 10 minutes, the manager came and approved the purchase. She had absolutely no sense of urgency. This Walmart as progressively went down hill for years and now its very apparent that its completely mismanaged. Honestly, I dont thing I will return to this locations.

This Walmart Supercenter clean, very large and has everything you need. Safety precautions for COVID 19 in effect. Shopping carts are pre- sanitized. All employees wearing masks.IMO more hand sanitizer stations are needed, in all Walmarts.

This is my second time ordering online curbside pick up which I have never been able to get curbside. I seem to have to go in the store to pick my things up which are never ready even though I received a notification saying they were. So now I wait 30 mins for the associate to run around and shop for me. Bad service my things should have been ready I should have been in and out which is never the case.

Before I start other walmarts such as Merrill and target in wausau shelf were stocked but the walmart in wausau/rib mountain their shelf are not stocked their shelf look exactly the same as a month ago but they seem to have their store brands and its not to clean lately its like this store gave up on itself thats why I gave it a 2 would like to give it a 2 1/2 but no half star

Would of likely given this Wal-Mart five stars but at 10:45, 15 minutes before closing the self check out was shut down causing long lines at the two registers that remained open! Took over 30 minutes or more to get out of the store🥺.

It is a Walmart, get your stuff and get out.Not the most well kept location. Not the most friendly employees either, but thats just who and what they have going on. Could have been a bad day and I had a bad experience, but thats the way it was for me.Asked a young guy if he could help me find a specific item I located on their app. He did however it seemed like it was almost the end of the world for him. Cashier could hardly tell me how her day was going. Which by their attitude I could only assume it was going absolutely terribly. But I wouldnt know because she was probably listening to the beeps of barcode scanning more than she was me attempting to conversate.

After waiting 30 minutes in the automotive center to speak to somebody about getting my headlight changed, it then took then 30 mins to get my car into the garage and an hour later they came and told me they couldnt fix my headlight. Needless to say I am not happy about having an hour of my day wasted

Been using the order pick up service lately. Service has been fast and efficient even with temperatures below zero. The service is becoming popular so best to avoid usual busy times. They have a limited number of pick up spots

This Walmart online pickup only seems to be going downhill. The few times I have gone inside have been okay and I have not had any issues. But I mainly use their online grocery pickup and it has not been good lately. You can check in online like the email and texts asks you to do, but the employees either don’t see it or care. After arriving and waiting for 5 minutes, I then call the number and I have never once gotten anyone to answer my call. The wait time is ridiculous and the employees do not seem to be well trained or friendly. The last issue I had was with their computer system being down, which I get happens occasionally. But I never got an explanation, an apology and when I was finally able to get my order the next day, no one was around to help me. I had to wait for 25 minutes before I finally got my groceries and that was only after calling the main number for the store. This is ridiculous! I will definitely be spending the extra money to go to a store where customer service is better.

I needed to get a new car tire fast after hitting debris on the highway nearby. The auto shop at this store did what I needed fast and well. Sad that store policy prohibits tipping.

Okay In store buy definitely don’t use the pick up or delivery for groceries twice gotten bad items cracked open watermelon moldy products etc and took them back was told I would get a refund after talking with customer service who didn’t really wasn’t in a good mood. Never got a refund or anything

This location delivers groceries and a few other things which is nice. The people that run the registers arent usually the friendliest (or the fastest). I would say this location is definitely nicer than the Walmart in Sun Prairie and less Ghetto than the next nearest Walmart to me southeast of Middleton. You cant beat Walmart grocery prices. Do yourself a favor and pay the Walmart+ monthly fee so you dont have to waste half of your day at the store and inevitably buying a bunch of extra junk you dont need.

This is the Walmart on Nakoosa Trail. I went to buy a Cactus in a small pot . The shelf tag said $3.74. When I got home my receipt said $9.98. We went back to the store and they informed us that they go with the sticker on the bottom. I showed the person the picture that all the cactus were that price. That happens so often at that Walmart. We received food delivered to our home one time. We happen to notice it on our porch around 2pm & I CALLED to let the store know THE DELIVERED TO THE WRONG HOUSE. I called again at 10pm, this was winter. The night manager new nothing about it, but told US TO CALL in the AM. We called and that manager told us to just keep the stuff because its COVID TIME. FROZEN eggs, lettuce, and much other food destroyed, because they couldnt get their calls straight. Not very organized .

My experience yesterday 03/26 around 9pm was pretty bad. I walked into the parking lot and noticed the cart stalls were overflowing with carts to the point they were starting to block the road. When I went inside, there was only maybe 20 carts inside so I grabbed a cart. The handle bar felt extremely sticky (almost like syrup). What on earth is the cart attendants doing?However, I knew Id get a fairly cheap charger here so I sighed and went on my way to electronics. The associate in electronics was the only positive experience about my trip. They greeted me right away so I didnt have to flag them down and got a charger out of the case for me. The associate even pointed out the cheaper alternatives as I was about to spend 30 bucks on an apple charger.As I went on, my relative needed to grab a few things then we went to self-check. We realized NONE of the self-checkouts accepted cash payments which my relative only had on them.When talking to the self check associate and a MOD, they snickered when my relative complained about the self checkouts not accepting cash. No explanation on why. Nothing was said, just a little snicker. How professional.Last, we went to the cashier. She was the only female cashier working that night if that gives you any indication on who this was. The cashier didnt greet us while checking out. No words were spoken the entire interaction. Not even cash or card. Im not expecting a 5 star quality experience when I go to a Walmart but a hello wouldve been nice.The fact is, theres other alternatives to Walmart and unless I absolutely have to, I avoid this place.

Crappie. I always dread having to go to Walmart. First I parked by the home and pharmacy doors. Walked up and both sets of doors were locked. NO signage anywhere letting you know the doors were locked. NO signs to ask you to please use the doors by the grocery store area. So because I have knee issues I got back into my car and drove to the other side.2nd thing all the shoes were made out of plastic plastic plastic. And very few shoes sized 7-8. It was a strange experience. Like shopping at dime store in the 60s or 70s.I also was looking for socks made with a decent amount of soft thin cotton with some nylon and spandex. Very few choices unless you wanted low cut sports socks.So I was able to get a new charger for my phone. Thank God for that.I cant believe what the average American consumer is satisfied with. All this cheap stuff made in in China just keeps getting poorer and poorer. I sure miss Boston stores and Younkers and Gimbels. Target is poor too. Kohls and Penneys are the best we have now. Who knows how long though.

Well this evening I was at Walmart in the customer service department and I was in line for at least 25 to 30 minutes, to pick up a money gram .🤪 for me this was pretty unusual 🤔

Lots of bare shelves, out of stock, wanted me to fetch tires from another store myself, and bring them to there to be mounted.

This is a huge Walmart. Friendly staff and super clean

For the most part, things were ok. Just seemed like lots of the shelves did not have what they should on them. Like only one pair of jeans etc.

I recently ordered online. I started a return online to save time and was directed to bring the barcode with my return product to the store by a certain date. The store said that they cant take it despite contradicting paperwork from Walmart.com. Im stuck with $120 worth of stuff that I dont nee/want. I filed a complaint with American Express, and an considering doing the same with Wisconsin consumer protection. Dont use Walmart.com (or Walmart for that matter). Fraudulent conduct, pure and simple. My printed documents from Walmart.com should be deemed accurate and honored. Not there fools at the store ignoring the print in front of them.

They are currently redoing the floor in this store. Things are all over the place. Some things arent even on the shelves but instead are in carts in the back room.

Have what I need at a affordable price, oh and the checkout person was attractive oh wait that was Me.

I love Walmart Supercenter and today...thankfully there finally wasnt much of a wait time in line. However, many items I shopped for had either a minimal assortment ie size, color or were completely out of stock. 🤨
