I have been a Target customer for 10+ years. I can’t say enough about Deb. She has fantastic customer service and technical skills as it relates to measuring, fitting and selecting glasses. The optometrists are efficient and helpful. Plus they have a great selection. I highly recommend them!
Doctor, receptionist, and guy who did my pre exam were all fantastic.

Target optical is very good for prices and modern farmes and brands, sales agent lady is awesome, she is well experinced with each frame and made ist possible for my doughter to pick a good frame and made very good suggestions that worked for our budget. Thank you
I called before to find out the CoVid protocols. The info I got was clear and complete. I even found out the weekday when it would likely be less busy and the fact that all the workers are vaccinated. Then, when I went in, the worker was very polite, listened well to my many concerns and was thorough about getting me the best frames possible. I like my new glasses!
I stopped in today at 5:30 and the associate was very unfriendly. She first explained that she needed to sanitize every pair glasses I tried on, which was weird and then she explained that she needed to leave by six to see her mom at the hospital because she was on her deathbed and started to cry. Obviously that’s awful and I didn’t want to hold her up at all so I left. As a customer, I don’t feel like I should be responsible for this since I came in before closing and I don’t think she should’ve been working. The reason I am writing a review is because this is not the first time I felt like an inconvenience in the last couple of months as a customer at target optical Madison East. I have been trying to get a pair of glasses for the last few months but due to poor customer service, I still don’t have a new pair. I may try going somewhere else.
Amazing! Took 30 minutes between picking glasses and the exam! Everyone was friendly and it was very clean!
Husband needed old lenses put into a new frame & they did it for free there in the store!
Normally get my glasses here each year but went in last night and I’ve never seen a worker so unhappy to see me. I get that I came in 30 minutes before closing time but I really just wanted to look at some glasses, I didn’t need the attitude. I’m in a tough situation and need eyeglasses asap so I figured I’d at least take a quick look. I felt like a huge burden so I tried on one pair and left, I will be going elsewhere or to a different target.
Dr. Jeremy was fantastic. I had an exam with him one year ago and just ordered another years worth of contacts. I went to Target Optical in California and was so happy to continue care here in Wisconsin seamlessly. I ordered with Deb 2 days ago and they were delivered today. Very happy.
Dr. Germaine is amazing! She, and everyone that works in Optical are so nice and sincere!They have a nice selection of frames, and I was able to find a pair in fifteen minutes that I loved.
Reception staff were extremely professional and pleasant. Dr.Goetsch was most knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. I was not expecting this level of quality from a big box chain store like Target. Highly recommend.
Overall, not a great experience. This is the third year in a row my appointment time has been messed up, which took a couple calls and emails to sort out. The assistant is always complaining about having to work around the holidays which made me and a couple other customers in the optical center at the time fairly uncomfortable. We all have to work around the holidays. Also, I did not see Dr. Jeremy, it was another doctor.. which was fine, just unexpected.
Really good experience, fast service, no wait time, no employees to pressure you to get the extra $40 exam thats not covered by insurance. Plenty stock of contact lenses that you dont have to wait for mail order. All the equipment s are new and automatic.
I had a really positive experience with Target Optical and Dr. Goetsch. Dr. Goetsch extremely nice and helpful when I had to come back a second time because the contact brand just wasnt right. He was happy to help and make sure I was comfortable with my new Rx and brand. He was more than happy to order a new trial lease for me and always happy during conversation. A very positive experience and I will go back!
