Dr Jayson Heier was fantastic with my 6 year old. Definitely would recommend!

Went in to only have my glasses adjusted back to my face and she offered to switch out my nose pads for softer one. Which of course I said yes cause I honestly didn’t like the ones I had on. She got finished up with that and making them back to the shape and I asked her what I owed and she told me nothing. Honestly so sweet and super amazing service!!

I had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, though I will say I did feel just slightly awkward around the sales staff. Either way, they helped me a lot and I appreciate it immensely. The Dr and associate I worked with (female Dr and Tom associate) were AMAZING. (The other associates I listened to would have made me give a lower score).The doctor was very sensitive to how poor my eye sight was and even went manual to ensure that she could a more accurate reading. Tom is newer but super friendly and not as pushy as perhaps try might like. He suggested as Dr requested but also proved other options. Sadly they did not have as thin of plastic frames as I like so I chose to get glasses elsewhere but I dont think Id ever go to a different place for an exam.Thank you for taking time to make sure my prescription was accurate andBeing patient with me! It gets really easy to forget what good service is like when you’re constantly exposed to bad service, but as soon as you experience it again, you realize how awesome it is and how much you can’t go back to the old way. That’s how it was for me with the LensCrafters in the East Towne Mall. Stanton, Shopko, and America’s Best try their absolute hardest to bait-and-switch, take advantage of you, and show you how unimportant they think you are. But not LensCrafters. I don’t know if it’s just this location or all of them, but I was amazed by the service I received. The eye exam itself was conducted by an optometrist who truly cared, and the salespeople not only helped me find a pair of frames that looked great on me, they didn’t try to upsell me once I did find one. In fact, they were honest in telling me that a cheaper pair fit my face better than two significantly more expensive pairs! And even though they quoted me for an insanely expensive pair of lenses initially, they had no scrutiny against me when I told them it was too much and just quickly went to a cheaper option. I spent very little beyond my insurance benefits, and just received my glasses yesterday… they’re absolutely amazing. I’ve spent significantly more on worse glasses at other places, which shocked me because everyone tried telling me LensCrafters was really expensive. Seemed like a great deal to me. So much care, passion, and truly great service put into something that’s really important to most people; they didn’t try to dig into my wallet for the same thing like other places have, they sold me an incredible product for a great price and treated me like family the entire time. I am in absolute shock and awe, and I’ll never get my glasses anywhere else for as long as LensCrafters exists. Thank you thank you thank you! Tyler, Bobbie, and optometrist Richard were the 3 names I remember the most, but there were other kind souls who helped me as well and I greatly appreciate them all.

Tom was very knowledgeable, and provided great detail and options for me and choosing the right glasses. He took pictures of my face and showed me what it would look like. He explained many options for the eyewear I picked out. And explained in great detail which ones would work best for my needs. We were greated warmly upon first entering the store. Autumn took the time to explain what we needed to do and was very patient with my 8 yr old while doing her pre-screening. Im the classic guy who doesnt pay as much attention to his health as he should. Ive been in glasses since childhood, and can maybe think of two optometrist that stand out. Dr. Heier is definitely one of those two. Its rarely I go in for any kind of service and get such a tailor made experience. I got in with no inconvenience on the scheduled they actually got me in early when I went in early expecting to sit. They are very mindful of your budget, no surprised come time to ring out. And theres not enough space to fit all the words to describe how polite, personable, and informative Dr. Heier is. If you want a quick in and out prescription sure. But if you want to learn something about how your eyes actually work, all my questions were answered in delightful detail. If you are looking for a new regular optometrist I have the upmost confidence in recommending this location.

The General Manager, Marcia Kippley is simply AWESOME! I entered the store and quickly met Marcia who was pleasant, professional and truly invested in customer service.. The old kind of customer service where you can tell the person truly cares about their customers. To make a long story short I showed Marcia a defect in a pair of glasses I had purchased from her store and within 15 minutes I left the store completely satisfied with both my glasses and the sincere kindness Marcia demonstrated in helping me resolve my defective frame issue. I stopped by Lenscrafters on a Saturday, after loosing a lense. Paid almost $600 to get same day glasses. After an hour, got a call saying I wont get the glasses til Sunday due to a machine issue. Sunday comes, get a call stating I wont be able to get them till possible today, maybe tomorrow. I paid to be able to get same day glasses. If I wanted to wait, I could have went somewhere else, and got cheaper glasses.Doctor was the only good thing about my visit.

I had an experience at a local Optometrist in 2019 where the experience was so terrible I wrote a review on it. I came to Lenscrafters in 2020 in hopes of a more professional and educated group of people for my yearly exam. Thankfully these people are awesome. The Optometrist I had (wish I knew his name) was awesome. They performed the exam and instantly I knew I made a great choice in changing Optometrists. I bought both contacts and glasses from this location. The picking out frame process was so enjoyable. Staff was offering me suggestions and explaining everything about the different lenses and frames even telling me their opinion on how frames fit my face. I cannot recommend Lenscrafters enough. I know I will be going to this location again next year for my yearly exam.Thank you.

I bought my glasses one year ago and about 4 months ago I noticed the protective coating on the lenses was coming off right in my line of vision. I was on the East side of Madison and stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to see if this could be taken care of. Victor was the sales person that helped me. He said that my lenses were in stock but that they didnt have someone available to cut and fit them. I explained that I live in Evansville and that I would have to bring them in at another time then. I believe the woman that overheard and helped was a manager. She came over, said she could cut them for me so that I wouldnt have to come back. For an hour I wondered around the mall while she got them fixed for me. I was so thrilled to see clearly again. Thank you so very much for doing such an amazing job for me!

I scheduled an exam online this week and got an appointment for the next day which was awesome. After filling out some quick paperwork, Tiffany walked me through the preliminary tests and made me super comfortable. Ive been going to LensCrafters since I was a little kid and Dr. Jun was hands down the best eye doctor Ive ever seen. He was laid back but professional, taught me about my eyes and new prescription and set me up with a great new pair of glasses. Tiffany helped me find new frames and gave me her honest opinion on what looked good. Such a great experience- Ive found my new eye doctor!

I bought a pair of glasses from here about a year ago. Staff helped pick out the frames and lenses. All is fine for a month, then the left lens falls out. I bring them back and they reinstall the left lens and say you’re all set. Another couple of weeks go by and the left lens falls out again. My son reinstalled it and said the lens doesn’t seem to fit into the frames very well. So, some time goes by, and the left lens falls out at breakfast. I drive over to the mall and want to get some satisfaction. Staff says, “you bought the wrong type of lenses for this frame”. I say, you’re staff put this package together and took my money. Now we’re out the money for glasses and have a left lens that won’t stay in the frames. LensCrafters will not take any corrective action. Please use caution when buying from this seller. We’re going to another eyeglass seller and buying another new pair of glasses.My Grandmother always told me..”BUY CHEAP AND YOU WILL BUY TWICE”... man, I hate when she’s right.

Sales folks and Sales Managers at this place do not have a clue of what is needed or what is going on. I went in for an exam and buying a pair of glasses. I selected a frame. they were not able to apply insurance and asked me to call later so that they could get insurance issue resolved. I called the next day, they said everything is fine with insurance and they need payment to proceed with the order. When I went in to make the payment, they made me wait for an hour to accept the payment. then I was told that they have lost my order and need to take measurements again. But when I asked to confirm if it was for the same frame, they had lost the frame too and showed me an oversized and gaudy frame saying that is what I selected. when I said no, they showed another gaudier frame and wanted to proceed with measurements.I looked as though they did not want to do business with me. LensCrafters should put up a board saying what type of people do you want to do business with. Everybodys time is precious

Had eye exam at Janesville location. Unfortunately my lenses were not in stock. I was then forced to drive to Madison as I really required same day service. Needless to say I was rather unhappy. However, this location had a much better selection. Glasses were ready in 45 minutes. I received great service from Dawn and Mark. I am very, very happy. I was also pleased to receive a follow up call regarding the service received and how my glasses worked for fit and vision. Kudos, LensCrafters Madison!

A month of waiting, and still no glasses. Paid good money for them, too. They only called once, a few days after purchase. After that, dead silence. But hey, Im the sucker. They got my money.Do NOT give them your business. Or, go ahead, give them your hard earned money, for nothing.

The doctors and staff have done a great job setting me up with glasses and contacts. My vision is now great!

Ill try to keep it short. Wrong prescription was prescribed. Ordered glasses with wrong prescription. Almost charged me to double check when I told them it was wrong. Changed prescription and ordered new lenses. Told not to wear them for a few days. Realized later that the return policy did not reflect the CORRECT lens order, and that following their instructions to wait a few days to wear the correct lenses pushed it past the 30 days from the original order. They wont let me return them. The customer care line is supposed to return my call soon. Well see what happens. Ive shopped at LensCrafters for 7 years. Never again.Update: Dawn is working with me. Shes committed to finding the solution, not just something that Ill have to live with. Weve ordered a different set of lenses. Well see what happens when they come in next week. Im pleased with the service she provides.Update: (changed from one to three stars) I CAN SEE! Dawn found the problem and fixed it. I think its important to note that the management changed after I ordered my glasses in November. Dawn now manages the store. While I dont know if well return next year, Im pleased with the level of service once Dawn was involved as well as the final product.Update Dec 2017The new staff at this LensCrafters is AMAZING! They were welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. They were helpful, competent, and friendly. LOVED working with Bethany! Dawn was still as helpful as always. Changed from three to five stars. Will definitely return next year to this staff!

I went in for a simple adjustment. Waited a long time before anyone helped meThe girl working had no idea what she was doing. She pulled out a reference sheet and was clearly confused. She made the problem a lot worse and then switched with another salesperson, who also didnt know what he was doing and my glasses fit way worse than when I walked in.

Terrible experience long story short I went to shopko over 13 years and was never told to make sure my contacts fit correctly and lens crafters tells me to come back to get my contacts fitted after I just waited over three weeks to get my trials in store for pick up the girl I was talking to at lens crafters east was named Lindsey a tall super skinny blonde who told me I have to wait for my trials to come back and they would directly mail them to my address and keep in mind with my prescription takes about 4 weeks well they were never mailed to me got an email saying they are ready to pick up in store smh and even worse Lindsey was talking trash about me to her co workers as I was walking out calling me a stupid amateur don’t go here for contacts unless you want to be judged before you walk out the door real professional Lindsey next time do your job the right way and respect your customers smh they are the reason you have a paycheck duhh 🤣

The staff is great and helpful but they have a very small selection of value frames and the lense prices are incredibly high. I went elsewhere, got two pairs of glasses and $0 copay lense insurance for half of the price. Their lense insurance has a $25 copay btw.

They put down expensive lens and other stuff on our order with out asking us. Did not go over the order with us.Took a month before my wife got hers.This store sucks. Said they would call when they found out why it was taking so long for them . Very unprofessional.

Do not buy glasses here!!!! Wanted to get prescription lenses for a pair of sunglasses and with EyeMed, was quoted $117. Didnt realize that they automatically added polarized lenses, tinting, etc. - everything I didnt want - without my knowledge. Got lenses to my specification at Stanton for $40. Duplicitous salesmanship. When I called them on it, they blamed the computer.

I tried calling to get pricing on my contact lenses and was shut down by the individual working. He was not willing to help me because he said he needed more info (my prescription and brand of contacts). I told him I have this info but he said he is helping someone else and this will take too long. I understand that he needs to help someone in the store but blowing me off like that was very rude. I even asked if I need to come in to get pricing and he just ignored this. Very unhappy because my parents have had good experience here in the past. The service has definitely gotten worse! GO ELSEWHERE!!

Short staffed resulting in staff member here there and everywhere. End result was different glasses to what we requested. Luckily when we picked up the wrong glasses staff were amazing.

This place is unbelievably overpriced. Check prices online before you purchase. Contact lens were 50% less online, my $300 glass frames (40% off in the store) were only $109 online. As far as lenses go, youre going to pay a premium price for the basic lens (which are included with online sites). You could be paying that same price to get the best lens possible, but not at lens crafters. Convient place to get your eyes checked and reasonable priced for that service. Buyer beware.

Went the day after Christmas to get an annual eye exam was told i need bifocals i ordered them and picked them up New Years Eve after five days of wearing them my far vision is worse and my near vision goes in and out pf focusWhen i went in the get this and the fact that somehow they also forgot to make them transition lenses I was told that I had to come back tomorrow to get my eyes recheckedNo one ever checked to see if they were even the right perscriptionAt this point I will never go back there after this nonsense
