Extremely happy with their knowledge and workmanship on my leather boots. They rescued a pair poorly repaired at another shop in town.The prices are so great that Ill bring a $5 pair rescued from Goodwill and their knowledge/skills so great that Ill happily bring me far more expensive Italian and Spanish boots as well. So glad to find them.

Not only did they do a great repair for me, but they also have a good selection of boots and other clothing items & accessories that are very nice quality. High marks from me.

Had my boots for 3 months without starting work on them. Best part of the experience was an easy refund.

Took in a pair of hiking boots with the soles starting to fall off at the toe, and I am *thrilled* to report that after a fix here, not only did they perform superbly on a few recent winter hikes, but they were even comfier than before. Five stars! Only problem is that the work is so good I wont have to visit often. Thanks again!

Great Experience! Dropped off an old pair of boots for repair that had begun to break down in the heels making them uncomfortable and hard to get on and off. Boots were fixed, and matching the original stitching so that from the outside you cant even tell they were repaired. Boots were returned cleaned and looking sharp, restored and ready for years of continued use!

Fantastic experience. tl;dr: friendly and courteous, good work, reasonable price, fast turnaround. 10/10 would get shoes fixed again.Had a pair of winter boots with a eyelet that broke the day after the first snow of the season. Took it in, Michael was super pleasant and friendly and worked with me to figure out solid repair options and even recommended a competitor for a particular service that would take him a long time—they really care about the customer! Once we decided on what repair to go with, turnaround was very fast; I dropped it off on a Wednesday and the repair was done by the next Tuesday, crucially, before the next snow. Took the boots on a hike and the repair seems to have been done well and everythings behaving as it should! The price was extremely reasonable, and Id honestly have been happy to pay more for the level of service, speed, and quality work I received. Madison Shoe Repair & Bootery definitely has my future shoe-repair business!

Worst customer service. Didnt fix my boots in time and didnt offer any apology. Front office workers were snarky and rude when I asked for help.

Stopped in to have some of my favorite boots polished and sealed. They did an exceptional job for a great price and I couldnt be happier. Love the atmosphere and the great selection of boots they haveas well. Ill definitely be back!

Michael was great and did a fantastic job replacing the soles on my boots. He went above and beyond even recolored the wood heel to match and gave them a good polish. They look better than when I originally purchased them.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Brought a pair of dress shoes and boots I had given up on trying to get discoloration and scuffs out of. For very reasonable price, they were able to get them back to original or close to original, as well as educating me on future care. Very grateful and will be recommending them in the future for all shoecare needs!!
