I had a great experience working with Zimbrick. They did body work on my Honda CR-V after I hit a deer. They were able to get me in quickly, got my car back to me earlier than expected, and kept me updated through the whole process. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company and car rental company to ensure it was a painless experience for me. Regarding the body work, you cannot even tell where it the damage occurred. I was a little surprised they didnt do a full walk around with me when I picked up my car. However, I would definitely recommend them and go back for any future needs.
I am so pleased with the restoration work done on my almost new 2020 Yukon. A parking lot hit and run really did a number on the lower front end of the vehicle. We were devastated. Kristy, our Service Advisor took my wife and I through the process with reassuring words and proactive actions on our behalf. She documented the work with before and after photos, and worked with our insurance to get the job done right. The service technician did excellent body work. It was impossible to tell where the restoration began and ended, it was so seamless. I applaud the staff from the Business Manager Tony on down, and heartily recommend them.
Second insurance claim job. Second time being the cheaper option?! Fast and friendly, helpful professionals. They took care of 100% of the insurance interactions as well.
Every experience Ive had with Zimbrick is top notch and their body shop is no different. They do great work and stand behind their work as well
Great staff & super helpful.
Great job, very thorough in their inspections. Very up front. I have had two cars repaired at the body shop and we have been very satisfied! They work with insurance companies very well.
Awful communicators - hardly answer phones, so expect to have to leave a message and get a call back at their convenience (never mind when *youre* available). Also instead of the original 16 day estimate, it was 36 days. High quality work though. If you do get an estimate, guess that itll take 2-3x as long. Also be careful with working days vs normal days.
Outstanding communication and guidance following an MVA where my car was totaled from an accident caused by another driver. Guidance from Barry at Zimbrick body shop helped me work with the insurance companies involved in processing the claims.
Professional. Efficient. Terrific people.
I took my vehicle in to get the rear bumper fixed. Cory was flexible with my schedule and was super accommodating when I had to reschedule a couple times. When picked up the vehicle it was like the bump was never there! They do a great job in everything they do. Definitely consider calling Zimbrick for any of your body shop needs! They also do mobile glass repair too.
Substandard quality body repear work. Did not expect it from Zimbrick. Very unsatisfied customer.
I sent in my vehicle after an accident- I am a progressive insurance member. Should’ve went with another body shop down the street. The person who worked on my car was very friendly and my boyfriend and I left feeling assured that our car is in good hands. When the Body Shop was ready to work on our car they never called us and they began work without notification. They never called to update us and to let us know how long the car will be in the shop. Only after over 8 days did they call to say our car will need to be in the shop for longer. Bad communication! Not considerate of customers.
John was great to work with thru the front desk. Body work looks great on damaged rear of Honda odeysey.
I have used this dealership for years, and bought my current car from them.
Exceptional service. The front desk staff is friendly, responsive, and was accommodating when I had an unexpected difficulty during the repair process. Even better, they are really empathetic. Getting in a car wreck is a really stressful event, but these guys have easily been the best part of the experience so far.Im getting frequent (but not overbearing) status updates regarding the progress of the repair, and it seems to be coming along in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone.
Unfortunately my second accident in as many years. The first time two years ago was a great experience with Zimbrick. I was rear-ended. They worked with insurance and repaired my vehicle to basically new. This time, I was t-boned and my car was totaled out by insurance. Everyone was so helpful in all ways they could be and very professional. Im really hoping Ill never have to come back but know Ill be happy if I do.
TL;DRI do not recommend this service as they will never get back to you. I still have yet to receive a call back 2 months after my initial consultation.I had an appointment scheduled for Thursday, Aug 7. I went in and things were fine, Kyle told me that the reason my window was not rolling up completely was because one of the cables for the power window motor needed to be replaced. He informed me that they would order the part and that he would call me some time in the next week to schedule for an appointment to replace the cable. He wrote down my name and phone number on the back of one of his business cards. I left, and waited for a call. Two weeks go by, and on Aug 20, I had still not heard back from Kyle. I called him and his voice mail said that he was out of office and shouldve been back on Aug 17, I left a voice mail with my contact information and also a request for the status of the part for my car. Figuring that he needed some time to catch up with work after a break, I decided to be patient. I waited almost another month, and still had not received a call.On Sept 13, I decided to go into the shop to check on the status myself. I was able to get a hold of Kyle when I went into the shop; he checked the status of the part for me and told me that it had come in but that he was not informed of it. He tells me that he would e-mail me a quote that same day, as well as set up a date for the appointment in the e-mail. He again, wrote down my information on the back of one of his business cards. This time, my name and e-mail.I waited another week and on Sept 20 I decided to call Kyle. I was sent to his voice mail again where I once again left my contact information and asked about the status of the e-mail that I was expecting from him so that we could finally fix my window. It is now Oct 8 and I still have not heard a word from Kyle and no longer expect to.I am at the end of my patience, and I hope that this postmortem of my experience with Zimbrick Body Shop on Fish Hatchery has been helpful to those who are considering using this service for their car repair.
They are terrible communicators, in my case they have trouble responding to voice mails or e-mails, and getting a hold of someone live (even the front desk) is an exercise of futility (office closed messages and voice mail boxes). Those problems are compounded by needing to take time out of the work day to try and get in touch. It took me over a month from my initial assessment to get in for repairs (minor rear end fender bender, I stopped they didnt, ~$2000). Repairs took almost twice as long as initially estimated, and ironically the repairs were worse from a usability standpoint than the damage initially sustained from the accident. The dented fender was a bit of an eyesore, but the repairs included a 3rd party muffler which is a little too large for the space and rattles against the frame making obnoxious noises at low speeds, on rougher roads, when making turns, and idling on certain slopes.Shame I didnt catch the problem initially so I could just circle back; we were headed out on vacation the same day I picked and I was pressed for time (they went over by twice their time estimate for pickup for that day as well). I did notice some weird noises, but half of that was due to the AC being on max, but the fan speed turned down to nothing. That sounds pretty weird all on its own and by the time I figured that out I was halfway home. Two stars for vacuuming up the toddler mess from under the car seat. That is the one and only positive thing to come out of this experience thus far.
I just recently got a quote on some damage to my passenger door from running into a pole (I know I know). Despite the damage looking superficial it turned out it had also caused some structural damage to my car. A nice man named John did my estimate and talked me through all of the damages so that I understood how the repair would proceed and why the things needed to be repaired despite seemingly being minor. Additionally, he talked me through the insurance process so I knew what my options were. Ill be updating my review once the repairs are complete but I was extremely satisfied with the initial customer service.
Ive always had great experiences at this bodyshop and what made me leave this review today is the great service provided by the receptionist when dropping my car off. I was supposed to be met there by Hertz but they no showed, thats when the receptionist attempted to call them several times and when it was apparent they werent coming she set me up with a different rental company. Thank you for going above and beyond!
I took my car in last Monday morning for what was quoted to be a day and a half job until multiple delivery mistakes were made and Im looking at not getting my car back until Monday! As a new resident of the area this place hasnt given a good impression. Understandably they have given me a rental car, however as the customer you still have to pay the insurance fees and that adds up VERY fast when it takes your car 5 to 6 days longer than expected, and you didnt want the rental car in the first place. Its very hard not to be frustrated and disapointed with the service so far.
I was in a bad spot and Zimbrick was there for me in a big way. They were able to process the needed paperwork for an insurance repair before the tow company even got there with my car. Fantastic service from a great company
Chad and his team do great work. Mike did a great job detailing both of our cars
I would rate lower than a 1 star. I brought my vehicle in for an estimate, and the receptionist embarrassed me. Talk to the manager not much help. Ive been doing business with Zimbrick for over 20 years, and purchased quite a few cars in that time. Well. Im sure one of the other reputable auto body shops will be happy to assist me!!!
My vehicle was at Zimbrick Fish Hatchery for a week to repair damage from a car/deer crash. When I picked it up today I was looking forward to having my car back and expected to get into a shiny clean vehicle. No such luck! After giving them $3800 worth of business, I was pretty disappointed that I didnt even get a car wash at the end. I will say the woman working at the front desk is very friendly and helpful.
Horrific. Took them two weeks to replace a windshield and were completely unprofessional. After they replaced my windshield, I had issues with the cruise control and they claimed that I was accusing them. Please avoid. Go elsewhere.
I went there just to get an estimate. Great service.
I just went there for my appointment. They sent me to three buildings and then said they couldnt find my appointment on their schedule.
Horrible customer service. Dropped my car off Monday for a 6 hour repair...told they would call when its done...end of day Monday I call them Itll be done tomorrow....Tuesday I call at 2:00 and leave a voicemail...dont hear back...call again at 4:00 and leave a voice mail...still waiting
So bad they stole us. So bad people so bad services, 😤😤😤😤😤
Bad customer service. I had to call them to check on my car and it turns out it was ready the day before. They claimed to have called me but never did. Customer service sucks here.
