Its a very nice store lots of things in it besides food, bakery nice love the meats & their prices veggies too. got hot & cold food to go. Workers very friendly offer help. Love they have electric cars a must for me. Try them.

I love this place!! Super clean. Their sushi is actually really good! The juice bar is my favorite! Fast check out with their self check out stands. My favorite store to shop for sure.

I love this Vallarta!! The Carniceria (meat market) is the best!! BE CAREFUL THOUGH...CUIDADO!!! The parking lot is uneven so when your cart is full, you can easily lose control of it and if empty, they have a tendency to roll away and possibly run into another car.

This southwest themed store opened up about 6 months ago and I have only been here about five times. My visits are mostly aimed at produce and lunch from their food court. Their produce and selection is excellent and prices pretty competitive. Their food court has a large assortment of quick bites and also fresh bulk for larger gatherings. The store is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Meat is poor quality. Its either not seasoned or too seasoned. Chicken always smells rotten and stinky.

This super market has THE BEST meat department. Especially steaks. Porterhouse steaks, T-bone steaks, Ribeye steak are the best from there. If there is none out the will cut it fresh for you. Absolutely the BEST.

Every time Ive stepped in this store has been clean and well stocked. The workers are polite and helpful (which I know is hard to keep up from experience working grocery). It can be a bit pricy but as long as you shop the sales you can get some really good deals. Their inhouse restaurant area is quick service. The food is good for a quick lunch break but if youre looking for really good Mexican food you may want to visit any of the local restaurants. Speaking of lunch break, they have high quality grab and go items so you dont need to eat junk food. You can pick up items like: large boxed sandwiches, hot tamales of different varieties, roasted chicken, seafood cocktail cups and in house made sushi.

I bought several items including cup cakes from 1467 Country Club, Madera branch. While casher was ringing up the items she dropped a cup cake from the plastic bag on the ground and cup cake touched the traffic area. She picked it up with bare hand and put it back in to plastic bag. I told her I dont want the item and she remove it from the plastic bag but she charged me for it. I believe the management should do a better job in training their staff and being health conscious to protect the public health.

Customer service was good.. huge selection of items. they have a bakery, a taqueria, deli, flowers so can bring home to your wife when you get in trouble.. it was huge, .somethings were overpriced... but if you go for the items that are on sale.. its worth it.. I love the self check out.. this place is a step up for Madera ..

I am madly in love with this grocery store!! It is a mexican grocery store that has a bakery, tortilleria, carniceria, ice cream parlor, organic juicing bar, sushi bar, cooked meals for take out, mini flower shop, dulceria(candy section) & so much more. My absolute favorite was the sea food section!! They sell a 3 section platter that contains shrimp ceviche, crab ceviche, & fish ceviche. If you cannot find the platter just go to the sea food section & simply request it!! You can even ask for half of a pound of the ceviche you want. They also have a section where they sell a variety of caramel apples. They all have caramel but are covered in different flavors like oreos, coffee flavor, nuts & more. If you have not been you need to go!

Love this store... fresh fruits and veggies, carnitas, buche, masa, tortillas and chicharones. They have a great selection of meats and seafood. The store is super clean and is close to the 99 freeway.I drive from Sacramento once a month to get items that none of the Mexican stores in Sacramento offer.***Wish theyd open a store closer to Sacramento!***

One of the best Vallarta market Ive ever been ( and Ive been in few of them in Los Angeles area). Clean, huge variety of fresh products and curteous service. It was impressive.

Vallarta is a great place to buy chicken. I always find the good deals on the meats. I always look at the ads and I see some good deals here and there. Great fried chicken at the taqueria. I just wish they would include chicken breast for that leg and thigh deal. The only thing that bothers me is that social distancing isnt happening. The holidays were crazy busy and I was shocked to see no one keeping the distance. So glad Vallarta has self checkout. So easy and quick.Cashiers are very helpful. Excellent customer service.

Fantastic loved this new valqrta supermarket here in madera! Wished fresnos Vallarta would be set up as maderas. Then I would do all my shopping every time we need groceries.

Went to get some plant base protein tacos at 7:30 ish PM. Sad story, they were out! No one in the kitchen crew was willing to please the customer. Ah, but manager Juanita came and saved the night. My tacos were made and were delicious 😋 Thank you Juanita for the excellent customer service.

Beautiful store with so many options to choose from, from their meats, seafood, bakery, fresh juice area, and sushi too! The staff including security, who went out of his way to get a cart for my dad, was friendly.

I always loved going to Vallarta because of the fresh veggies and low prices. Today I got a shock. Wow theyve gone up on their prices, Cucumbers were 69 cents each, tomato sauce was 50 cents for a tiny little can. I saw salsa for maybe half a cup for over 4 dollars and quacamole for about 9 dollars. O MG too much for this girl.

Clean and had the groceries I wanted not too pricey. Lots of mushrooms that you could buy as little or much as you wanted

There place is beautiful nice n neat delicious food, but there customer service is horrible there employees are rude, The security man had his mask under his chin texing on his cell inside the store It made me feel upset! N disappointed that employees were right there n didnt say any thing I did give him the look n he put it over his nose but Im sure once I was walking out he put it right under is chin ! I will Not return there again! They Ned to train there employees to have more manner n respect! N to keep there masks on at all times in the store!!!!!!

I love Vallarta Supermarket!! Its always so clean and well stocked. The meat department is amazing. The different sections of food is the best, also the staff is very helpful and friendly.

I was a little flustrated because I went in for an item that was on sale and they would not give me a rain check. I was told to come back tomorrow when they have the item but the item would not be on sale

I ordered a burrito, came with lots of rice and beans and little to no meat. Burrito tasted dry and not so good. They only gave me one sauce:( Vallarta pls improve your burrito put some guacamole or cream!!!!

The store was clean, and the staff was relatively friendly/helpful. The shelves were well stocked and the prrices seemed fair. Staff and customers were practicing Social Distancing as much as possible and with the exception of a few people, masks were worn throughout the store.

This new store has a lot to offer food wise thats for sure. But for the disability carts that have the pole on them, because they arent supposed to go outside is a little bit over the top. How are the disabled supposed to get on one to use it if it cant be taken to the car that they came in to begin with?

Wrong prices rang up

Went opening day was extremely happy and delighted that they were finally in Madera. But, to my horror, I was over charged on item(s) that were marked on the bag $2.00, my receipt showed $8.00. When confronted store mgr admitted it was a mistake, but boldly told me she had to check the cameras and would contact me on Wednesday its now Friday and no follow up. So who is the thief? Someone who cheats consumers s/becareful. I personally will not stop there again. Feel sorry for those who do shop there make sure you check the prices against your receipt.Update: Still no contact. It is clear that I was accused of dishonesty which is slander when I know I have done nothing wrong. I guess the alleged cameras were never checked. I seriously caution anyone shopping here, be aware that the dishonesty lies within, check and match, look at the pricing, use a calculator if the totals don’t match question it or make them review their aisle pricing, it’s easy for stores to steal money from its customers. Do not leave the store until you validate that you have been charged correctly.

Had a great experience with everything but THE BAKERY DEPARTMENT WAS HORRIBLE. This was the 2nd time I’ve dealt with Them. The first time it wasn’t ready and not on time. And the 2nd time it wasn’t ready, And it wasn’t what we asked for. The bakery needs to get it together. This is the last time we will be going through the bakery

Place was clean and they had many cash registers open. Long line for hot food, but I took that as a good sign.

Very busy but very clean, shelves are well stocked, staff is very friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable. Would recommend that they open the other entrance/exit for better traffic flow and less bottle neck at one opening.

I like the store but I dont like the service in the cash registers because there was a lot of people and just two cash registers open.

Its a great place but the only thing it needs is to get Goya pasteles is a Puerto Rican style tamale. If you order some I guarantee you theyll be gone because I will call all my Puerto Ricans in Madera and Fresno. 🇵🇷🙏 Thanks. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Would give 0 stars if i could the health department needs to look into how they handle their food i was going to order frIed chicken the girl at the register tried to put it straight into a regular grocery plastic bag i asked for a container she flat out refused asked for a manager waited and waited finally i lost my patience and left DO NOT BUY ANY PRE MADE FOOD THEY DO NOT HANDLE IT CORRECTLY!!!

Big new store. Lots of fresh produce and items.Please train your cashiers/front end to be more mindful of treating their customers. I was standing in line and the cashier in the next lane barely opened and let the customer behind me cut in line. I didnt mind because it was a mother with small children. Then I was almost getting ready to put my stuff on the cash register conveyer belt in my own lane until my cashier immediately places the Close sign on there and rudely says to me, Im closed. I asked her, Youre closed now? Youre not opening up? and she repeated, Yes, im closed. If it was another customer, she wouldve been told. Please do a better job at customer service and managing the front end or you will lose customers.

Very clean market. It has everything. Bakery, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh tortillas, meat counter, ceviche salads, sushi bar, carnitas and so much more. Friendly staff.

Finally went here because my husband loves Vallarta Supermarkets. I was impressed with their selection of Latin American products. If you need something, they probably have it here. I bought a container of store made Mexican jello and guacamole. Jello was just ok, but the guacamole was really good. Even at $7 a pound I am willing to keep going back for more. The meat and deli selection is pretty good too they have several types of chorizo.I didnt purchase anything from the hot food section because the line didnt look busy at dinner time which is not a good sign and the food looked a little on the dry side like it had been sitting out a minute. The one area I was not impressed with was the pan dulce. Their pastries were just not good. Their orejas (latin version of French oreilles) were on the salty side because they didnt put enough sugar on the pastry dough to caramelize it. I bought an empanada de crema(or queso as the label it). The custard filling needed more sugar I could taste the salt in it. The dough/crust was also bland. The biggest disappointment by far though was the pan fino that I purchased with a creme filling. I cut it in half to share with my husband and the top crust was RAW. I have been served dry, burnt, and under seasoned foods before but never have I been served a raw crust.So there are some good things there and bad things here. Great product and deli selection. Guacamole is great, I will keep coming back for more. But they need to get themselves a new panadero.

No respect for social distancing. Their prices are higher than at most other big brand stores here in Madera. Like, you could literally find the same quality products at Walmart, Rancho San Miguel, or Food 4 Less for a much better price! I know it is very full because of the Grand Opening of it, but Im sure they will fall in the near future and everybody will go back to Walmart.

When I lived in Fresno I enjoyed going to shop there & am very happy that a store in madera has been built since I moved back to town. 5 stars all the way!

Store had rude customers kids running all over the place.The lady at the cash register didnt give me enough bags and kept squishing my groceries with the conveyer.Some prices are good someare more expensive than other stores .Had some Cooked pork ribs from the deli really had no flavor to them.Might not go back there to shop again.

Store is nice but a store with so many over priced items...I bought a head of lettuce and inside of it was all brown ...I was cooking so had to go back to a much closer store to buy another...what a disappointment
