Food4less typically has good prices on most food items. Its also busy pretty often. I still like to go to other supermarkets because they have better deals and higher quality products sometimes

We went at 9:30 @ night so they were stocking.meat prices were good. I usually go to savemart.

I had a wonderful experience coming into food4less for my first time moving here! I was quite unsure of where to find certain things and I asked one of the nicest employees on cash register. His name was jahred. He told me directions of where to go for the food I needed. Once I was done shopping he helped me on register and held a firm conversation with me asking me how my day was. You know the basic questions that gives you a nice welcome here. Most definitely going to be shopping here more often!

This is a great store with plenty of low low prices and they are always keeping everything clean and up to health standards. The stuff is very friendly and they will gladly assist you with any question you have. It is conveniently located in a shopping center with plenty of other amenities.

Upon arrival, Id noticed some employees putting carts away without sanitizing. During my visit, Id had trouble finding an item in particular. An employee walked right passed me as I attempted to ask for assistance. During checkout, I was guided to register 8 where Id immediately noticed the cashier Jerrod and his short manager speaking unprofessionally while very slowly counting some cash(obviously distracted with her conversation). If a customer is in line, you need to attend to them as quickly as possible. Atleast greet your customer! While I had been bagging my items, Jarrod refused to use the other side for the next customer(as other cashiers had been doing) and decided to proceed to force my items down the line, thus squishing my chips. Id told him to stop, and asked why he hadnt used the other side. Unfortunately, my question was ignored. Worst experience Id ever had in the 3 years Ive been coming here. Somebody retrain him in customer service.

You can get in and out pretty quick here if you know your way around food4less but it can definitely be a hunt for things considering how big this place is.

Check expiration dates!Some sloppy lady coughed in her hand, then proceeded to touch several tubs of the macaroni and potato salads at beginning of the meat section.😒😷😵Caution- gross people out there!

Fresh vegetables thanks for having okra maybe more indian vegetables. Tomato was.49c. Associate at the vegetables were nice and helpful when 1 of the item didnt have price he help me find the price ❤

This is my husbands and my first choice when it comes to grocery stores in Madera. They, for the most part, have what we are looking for. Plus more. :) Staff are generally friendly and helpful if asked. Store is always clean and shelves are kept neat and clean.

Absolutely the worst managers. Purchased $125 worth of Baby backs. And one rack turned white while smoking. The store mgrs (general and meat) would not replace. Could have killed someone.

Cashiers are friendly sometimes. I like this place a bit more than the Pac N Save down the road as it is a bit more organized and a bit cleaner. This Food 4 Less seems to have less compared to the one in Selma and the one in Los Banos. Overall its a decent grocery store.

It was a good experience, and eazy to find what I need.

I eat a lot of pho an can’t find a lot of noodle choices for rice noodles or sauces for pho but other than that it’s a good places unless you want brisket which you have to reserve the morning of before noon or so

This is a nice place with a wide variety of delicious food at a decent price with decent quality.

Employees are very friendly, all are wearing masks, carts are sanitized between customers. Customer spacing in line is enforced by staff. The guy who was directing the customer line was fantastic, kept his cool when another (horrid) customer cut in front of the rest of the line & then got on to the employee for not organizing the line how he would. Gotta admire an employee who can remain polite in the face of so much stupid

Clean store and good CUSTOMER service. Their prices are way to high. Dont get me wrong you can get a good bargain when some of their items are on sale. I just prefer to do my shopping in Fresno where you can save a ton of money 💰💰💰💰💰

Good store good prices but the prices are going up on a lot of things I remember used to be able to buy a loaf of bread for $0.97 now its a dollar something lot of things have changed in there they even took down the big giant bag that used to sit on top of the security booth it said Food 4 Less on the big giant bag paper bag yall remember that miss the good old days

Its was great. Andrew Perez was very helpful. He knew where all of the products were and his customer service was exceptional. Usually i have to initiate conversation during my shopping but he was very friendly and welcoming compared to the other employees. I was very impressed.

Madera is a very clean store and meat and produce well maintained.

Masks are required to enter, but since Covid, the lines move hella faster and there are more cashiers.

Great quality meats vegetables at great prices

Things such as not many people in store during these covid days are good for grocery items to come get. They dont have order and pick up though.

Its the only 24 hr grocery store in town so thats awesome. The prices are pretty good too. When you do go really late at night they, restock and there is stuff everywhere making it hard to walk around in some places. There also is never enough registers open at any time of day making it take forever to check out.

Affordable prices and beats the competition in all areas. They are clean and friendly. They are always opening lanes up when theres more than 3 customers in line. This is where you want to go for a quick trip. Meat department is clean. Cashiers are quick and efficient.

This food 4 less is excellent they always have fresh produce and low prices. The staff are very friendly and you can tell they all enjoy their jobs. They have a wide selection of groceries here and the shelves are always stocked. This store is very clean and nice. If asked if Id recommend this store to anyone I would say yes absolutely i love food 4 less here in madera.

I dont want to go during the daytime cuz I dont have the time to but Ive had nothing but good experiences with the nighttime crew theyre kind friendly and willing to help you out all in all I can say its a decent place to go to way better than all of their places that are open late will be gladly returning

The Store is nice and clean. The produce is always fresh. I worked for Fleming Foods, a wholesale food distributor in Fremont, CA, from 1972 to 1986, and I was part of the team which established the first Food 4 Less in CA.

My husband and I literally always shop here I would definitely give it a 5 star rate but tonight we were completely humiliated by their so called loss prevention . Completely unprofessional, if they believed we took something they should have called our attention in an appropriate and professional manner. They need to be trained better on how to handle situations such as these. They were wrong btw which is why we were so humiliated. Hopefully these young kids get trained properly.
