The pharmacists are knowledgeable here and the prices are great. However, the lines are usually too long and the wait could be as much as an hour, sometimes more. If youre going, aim for early in the morning. Fortunately, they will let you bring other items to check out at the pharmacy register so you dont have to wait in the checkout line too.

Been on the phone for almost 30 min for a simple question. They said there is three people ahead of me but come on waiting for 30 min?

Im giving this Walmart pharmacy a 5 star rating Not because theyre perfect; they are NOT. They get a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟because most of the pharmacy employees WANT to do their jobs Right!Realistically, (from experience helping friends at several other chain pharmacies) their Rx fill-time is really good. They do strive to serve their customers efficiently and MOST of the pharmacy clerks, techs, and pharmacists really do humanely care (remember, I said Not perfect!). Recently, I watched the techs & clerks really go out of their way to save a client a large chunk of money by making sure the Rx was billed the right way. Yes, I had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes, but if I were that customer, a $70+ savings would mean a lot!EVERY Pharmacy runs short on inventory sometimes. Madera Wal-Mart pharmacy is better than most Ive seen and restocks their shortages PDQ. No system is 100%I have no personal relationship with anyone there; I am just another customer. Remember, most Rx customers are there because they are sick and feel crummy.
