This place has the BEST customer service! Kennedy was my bridal consultant for the day and she was the SWEETEST soul! Everyone there was super sweet and welcoming! I felt very comfortable and at home! I 10/10 recommend House of Hines for any of your bridal needs.

My daughter included me in her wedding plans for the coming fall. What a joy! She lives out of town, but came back home to Macon to look for her gown. The first choice, House of Hines, turned out to be the BEST choice. After sharing her thoughts and ideas with Daisy and Elissa the assistants, they immediately and graciously displayed their selections to match her dream dress and at the same time outfitted my son for his attire. That was just a few weeks ago and VIOLA, today she picked up her dress and he is ready for the big day. SATISFIED! Thanks to you Daisy and Elissa I can scratch both of these GOLIATHs of the list.

I will always recommend House of Hines to anyone getting married. I found my wedding dress here after quite a few visits to other bridal shops. No one seemed to have anything I loved. I came in with an idea of what I thought I wanted, and left with something completely different. The consultants are excellent!! Even though the dress I purchased was over my budget, Lisa made sure to ask how flexible my budget was before she let me step into it. After just a few alterations my dress was perfect and I felt beautiful on my wedding day!

My daughter and I had the absolute BEST experience from the time we walked in the door. Peggy greeted us with the sweetest smile and helped us pick out several dresses to try on. The owners daughter was in town visiting and what a pleasure to meet her. She was so helpful choosing the perfect dress. The owner and her daughter treated us like family. Treasure did her measurements and was a true treasure. We actually stopped by on the way to meet an individual to try on a dress. My daughter was so comfortable with everyone at HOH that she said she wanted to buy a dress from them just because she loved the experience there! Will recommend to all her friends!

This absolutely the worse place to deal with. They could not get anything correct after trying 3 times. Made a very disheartening experience for our wedding and they would not even take the time to care to fix. Just yell at you on the phone and tell you how much more they were going to charge you. Please take my advice and do not use them at all cost.

I decided to check out House of Hines for my first stop of trying on wedding dresses because I had bought both of my prom dresses from there back in high school (mind you this was around 12 & 13 years ago, respectively).From the get go, when I called to schedule an appointment, Daisy who answered the phone was extremely rude and seemed very put off that I wanted to make an appointment to come try on dresses.When we got there for our appointment, we waited for 10 minutes before someone came to greet us. During the try-on session, the girl helping me, Elissa, was very rude. Didnt help me in/out of dresses and basically told me in a very condescending (think Pretty Woman) way that I would have to wear a size 22+ because I have a chest and butt.Basically, to put it in short, due to the horrendous customer service I received, HoH has lost a long time customer.

I called and made a Bridal appointment a month and a half before the appointment. Two days before my appointment I called to make sure I was still confirmed because I had not heard anything. Ashley who I spoke to was sweet, but let me know my appointment was not on the books and that there was no way they could fit me in or add me on to the end of the day because they were short staffed due to it being prom season... I was coming from Atlanta for several appointments and planning on making a decision the weekend I booked my appointment due to my timeline. Very disappointing that they werent able to fix their mistake considering Im sure they want to make money (and would make more by selling a wedding dress, accessories, bridesmaid dresses, etc). Thank you to Carries Bridal Collection for being accommodating and getting me in the day before. They understand customer service and how important your wedding dress is to your big day! I love to shop small and support local businesses, but I would not recommend House of Hines for brides.

House of Hines is so precious! the backstory is so sweet. Treasure took care of me and was absolutely awesome. she is so helpful! she is really good at reading emotions and finding extra dresses she thinks you will like. I found my dress here!

I found the dress of my dreams Im glad Treasure convinced me to try another color and be open minded. Shes amazing and so sweet. The house is also so beautiful I will defiantly come back again.

The lady that greeted us was NOT friendly or inviting. I told her we were looking for a dress for a wedding reception. She asked formal,prom or bridal, then asked how much we wanted to spend and then when was it. These are standard questions Im sure but the way she asked was patronizing and made me feel as if she didnt want to help us. Mind you we never made it past the desk to look at any gowns at all. I told my daughter to lets just leave because I was getting upset.

I live out of town and had an issue in the beginning with my bridesmaids and I not getting a call back when trying to order dresses. I went in person to try and sort it out with the manager, Lisa, and she was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help me, and we had no further issues after that. She was always professional, friendly and willing to help in any way the times I had to speak with her on the phone, which meant a lot since I don’t live locally. I would definitely ask for her if you plan on looking for a dress here- she’s great!

Went in today for bridesmaids fitting. We were serviced by Treasure, who was absolutely amazing. All of our wants and needs were accommodated for and she made us feel very welcomed!! I strongly recommend Treasure for your bridal needs.

Christina was awesome. everyone is so nice and treat you as if you are the most beautiful bride. The staff there made the experience so fun. They have so many beautiful dresses and if there is not one in the store, they will get you what you want.

House of Hines is the number 1 place to go in Middle Ga for formal wear! I went and found my dress on the very first visit! Not only that, but the ordered my dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and fitted my husbands groomsmen (plus my father!) for their tuxedos! They treated me as if I were the only bride in the world, but werent too pushy! I recommend them to EVERYONE!

I visited here for my first wedding dress try on and it was a pleasant experience. They were overbooked so unfortunately I did not get a regular dressing room but the area I had was still nice. The associates were friendly and the selection was nice.

I went around april to find a prom dress with my friends who were noticeably smaller than me and an employee by the name of treasure went on to basically fat shame me and even told me “get out of my dress” when i was contemplating buying said dress. She had the rudest attitude i’ve ever seen in retail. Never ever shopping here

Went with my sister so she could try on dresses. Selection was limited but I didnt find that unusual for a small town bridal boutique. Sales ladies were nice, guiding but without being pushy.

I ONLY use House of Hines for my special events. I have gotten prom dresses, my wedding gown, formal dresses for the annual military ball, as well as tuxedo rentals for my husband (and groomsmen at our wedding.) The staff is always friendly and helpful! I am going again this week to order my shoes for an upcoming formal ball. Dont pass through Macon without stopping by House of Hines when shopping for formal wear.

We took my sister to pick out her wedding dress. The staff we worked with were friendly but not overbearing, and she ended up picking out a dress they suggested from a newer vendor that she wasnt aware of when looking around online.

They made me and my crew look very dapper and were very helpful in accommodating us. They were even able to perfectly fit someone from out of town on measurements alone.

They provided really good customer service and my dress suits and and fits me well i was only there for about 20 minutes and found the perfect dress their definitely worth visiting.

I called yesterday asking for a particular bridesmaid dress. The woman I spoke with told me she did have something that I could look at. I specifically asked if I needed an appointment and she said I didn’t. We went in at 11:15 am and we were greeted and told that we couldn’t even look at the dresses because they had two brides there already. She didn’t offer an alternative option, just that they wouldn’t be able to help us for “several hours”. I am disgusted with the way we were treated, and it’s hard not to believe that we were turned away because my fiancé and his daughter are African American. We went down the street to Ingleside bridal where we were treated very well.

Such a wonderful experience finding a wedding dress with my future daughter in law, and mother of the bride! Christina was absolutely fantastic!!! Thank you for everything!

Went to try on bridal dresses expecting to have a good selection to pick from, there is one small room in back with no dressing rooms and the lady who was helping me wanted to stay in there with me while I was putting them on so I would have had NO privacy. So I drove 2 hrs to try on 3 dresses to walk away with none...

I went yesterday to look at bridal gowns and out of the 8 I wanted to try on HofH only had 2 of them there and one sample size was a 4. I do believe that I bridal shop should have a set sample size and all samples should be in that size. Also, there is absolutely zero privacy! There are no real dressing rooms to try on bridal gowns. I have been to other bridal shops that have individual rooms and will give you either a robe or a slip to wear while waiting for the consultant to prepare the dress for you to try on. H of H gives you nothing so better come prepared. I did not and basically stood there half naked in a room with other employees traipsing in and out of the room. I will NOT use H of H for any of my formal wear. Among these problems there was an obvious lack of organization. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Take the time and drive to Atlanta or Augusta.

Very nice and reasonable prices

I went to House of Hines with my best friend to find her a wedding dress. Upon entering I was immediately deterred by the place. To be blunt, its insanely creepy. Mannequins are super creepy looking and it honestly looked like a wax museum. Anyway, we get almost immediately pushed to this one room in the back with very few wedding dresses. She tells us to look around and she will be back. We only find one dress in the style we are looking for and in the right size. So its already a disappointing visit. The lady comes in and practically pushes myself and my friends sister out of the room and then exclaims that she will be staying in the room. Bride is not a very comfortable person and does NOT like to be exposed in front of people. Bride goes to put dress on and realizes its too small. The employee I guess was determined to make a sale and practically forces bride to try to put the dress on overhead. Bride is also claustrophobic. This doesnt work at all and bride finally just says that she needs to leave. So, in conclusion 0/10 would do again, place should be called House of Terror with those creepy mannequins, and staff was rude and give you no privacy at all.
