I came here to get some high quality floor paint. The customer service rep helped me find the product I was looking for and had some good pointers on application techniques. Im very pleased with the paint quality - definitely worth the Benjamin Moore premium cost.
I had a difficult time matching a difficult color. I finally took the task away from my painter who was working with another paint store and took it into Mallory Paint Store in Lynnwood, where I have gone for years. The manager, Carolyn, was absolutely phenomenal in assisting me. She was not only patient working with me but extremely good at her craft. It was not an easy task! I am grateful for her patience and understanding, not to mention, the match was great!
My favorite store to get paint from. Greg is a great manager, everyone else that works there is very friendly.I highly recommend BM paints. The mallory stores have a very wide variety of sundries, primers, stains, varnishes. Its hard to find such a selection elsewhere. If you need a great sales rep. grab Matts card while at this store!
Love Benjamin Moore paints, hate the way this store is run. The manager is incredibly rude and makes it seem like any question you have is a huge imposition on his day. He rolled his eyes and walked away when I explained I’m looking for a specific green color. Then went behind the counter to loudly complain that so many customers are asking them to match colors. When I showed him their swatches that seemed like they could work, I asked him about undertones in the paint. He then made a big deal about delegating this task that was clearly “beneath him” to another employee. Saying sarcastically “Wouldn’t you just LOVE to help her pick a green?”. One of the main selling points of Benjamin Moore paints is supposed to be the expert help. Not so here. It’s not the first time I’ve felt unwelcome in this store. Today’s incident has me mad enough to write my first Google review in years. I will not be supporting this establishment again.
Went in was standing looking for some things no one came up to me asked if I needed help they don’t even greet you when you come in
I visited the store on Feb. 18th, 2021 to get some paints for our bedrooms and the color that I brought with me was bought by my friend at True Value store. Although the paint is Benjamin Moores paint, the color is from the True Values color so it would have to be custom made to match the color. Daniel was very patient in trying to help me match the color and create another shade for the ceiling as samples for me to try out at home. I came back a second time shortly after my first visit to get another sample from the store to compare with the first one that I picked since I was not sure if the first choice would be the right choice. I met the employee Hanh the second time I came and she was very knowledgeable about colors and had helped me pick a color to match with my new floor. She gave me a large sample to take home to make it easier to see how the colors would match with the floor. My husband and I both liked the color she picked out for us and I came back the following day for the purchase. Hanh also informed me of different kinds of paint and she spoke highly of the new line of Scuff-X which is scratch resistant and has very good durability for high traffic area. It seems to be a good investment so I bought the Scuff- X though it costs more than the rest. I hope that it will last for a much longer time, and will live up to its promise. My painter liked the paint very much. The texture is thick and the paint dries fast. It makes the painting job much easier. I purchased the color and the finish that Hanh suggested which was Spanish White plus Marble White which was my preference to try them both out with different bedroom. Both colors turned out very nicely with the new floor we installed. Though I have to say the color Spanish White which was picked by Hanh turned out to be the one we liked better than the color White Marble which was my pick. The difference in both colors is subtle so they both work out well for the floor. Thank you, Daniel and Hanh for your patience, and help. Hanhs expertise on colors had helped me a great deal in picking the right color with great confidence. I also learned a few things from Hanh about colors and what finish would work for the project. It was an awesome team.
Kind and incredibly knowledgeable staff that sells great products
I went to the store last week to purchase some black paint for a piece of furniture I am painting. The gentleman who helped me didnt seem very knowledgeable about what type of paint to recommend but sold me a quart of their advance paint with no explanation of how it works.Today I went back to explain with pictures that the satin sheen is extremely shiny and the paint is thin. The two men acted so superior and told me I needed two coats and it had to cure. I doubt iy
I was looking for a specific type of paint, but educated myself ahead so all I needed to do was get to the store and pick up what I was looking for. The second I walked in, I felt uncomfortable. No acknowledgement and then when I was in the aisle to find what I was looking for I was being hovered by two women that work there. One stood at the end of the aisle eyeing me. Look, just because Im in jeans and a sweatshirt doesnt mean Im gonna steal paint.... why would anyone shoplift paint?
Very helpful; they can match other brands colors too for free.
