Love this place. Found it by chance about four years ago, and appreciate the selection, and personnel. They really go the extra mile to understand your tastes and recommend beers. They always have my husband’s soda, and it’s appreciated. They’ve also been super agile during this constantly evolving environment, and sensitive to the precautions that need to be taken. If you are a local, and like good beer, hit them up!

A lot of good specialty drafts as well as cans you can buy. Very nice atmosphere. Although a little on the small side, its cozy inside with a good amount of seating outside. And from what I hear from talking to the regulars it is also dog friendly.

Was just there today. I have been here about a few times a month. I ordered a crowler of ^ nothing special beer ^ which sells for $10 a pint or thereabouts. I have spent a lot of money here. The guy tells me that he wont sell it to me. Well either you dont need the $$ or dont care about your business. Reality check ✔, with the Corona virus going on I dont want to hangout, would rather take it home. Definitely wont go back ever again.

Adding this place to my top-5 go-to list for craft beer. Theyve got a very wide selection of current top local & west coast brewers (emphasizing micro, nano). Lots of cans and bottled options. They also have a beer garden and a bunch of beers on tap to enjoy on-the-spot. Similar to Chucks and A1 Hopshops. Check it out when youre in the area!

Whats to say about this lil place...except...how did they cram all that beer into that little space.... if your looking to find that one brew that got away or are on the hunt for a new love, this is the place to go. Went in this friendly wine shop the other day to pick up a bottle of bubbly to celebrate my husbands new position! The staff helped me find a wonderful Champagne that I wouldnt have looked at without his helpful description of the flavor profile! It was perfect with the oysters!

This place is not really a bar but they have taps you can pour or beers you can pay to open. The people that go to this place I have found to be friendly and willing to talk lots of different walks of life. I enjoy the selection and company of the crowd. Have gone here since they opened casually.

This is the greatest beer store ever. As a non drinker with a husband who has a taste for interesting beers, I appreciate having the help of the very knowledgeable employee to choose from the literally hundreds of beers available here. Its a cool, funky little place to grab a beer with friends, or just to pick up a new beer to try at home. And everyone here is so friendly and helpful. They have always been very kind when I tell them I have no actual clue what Im looking for. They ask the right questions to help me narrow it down. And you can spend what youre willing to. They have some cool inexpensive beers, and some cool very expensive beers. Ive purchased both and never been disappointed.

This is a wonderful beverage location and has good access, too. They have one of the best selections of specialty brews and wines that can be found anywhere in the area and have very reasonable prices, too. A great place to go for a special something to drink.

Glad I found this place! They had a great selection of beer from all over the northwest and beyond. They also have been on tap and a TV or two if you want to drop by for a pint. The staff were helpful and friendly. I will be back.

Funky speciality brew pub that serves about 15 rotating local taps. Prices are average. They allow dogs and food to be brought in. They also carry about 400 different canned and bottled beers for carryout. Clean but temps always seem little cold so dress accordingly. Big screen TV.

Special Brews is the locals watering hole and retail beer emporium for the discriminating drinker. With a great selection of packaged beers from around the world, you can find more than at your local supermarket. They are also a bar with 20 tap beers on rotation. The staff is friendly and the crowd is mellow. Like any local bottle shop bar the regulars are a little clicky but friendly enough. No food available past nuts and chips.

Garrett Mow is probably the best employee. He always treats me right when I am there. The rest of the crew there is awesome and super helpful. Good community in the joint. Go and watch a game there or just play cards with you and some friends. Regardless its a great place for a couple Brews. A must go in my opinion.

Best place for beer fans in the area. Very friendly staff who know a lot about the beer they sell. Always has something excited on tap. Can get pretty busy but there is usually a place to sit. Free pretzels and pub mix are a nice touch. Very easy to spend a lot of money on all the beer to take with you.

If you are familiar with Chucks Hop Shop this is a Lynnwood version of that. We went for the chili cook off and it was awesome. Such a fun time and a great cause and cost. However the staff behind the bar were rude, hence the 4 out of 5.

After getting into buying craft beer, grocery store to beer shops, Special brews is the go-to for beer. Dont waste time at qfc, go to special brews. They always have things you CANNOT get at the normal store at the end of your block. It is worth checking out!

I come here for their brew tasting and the AMAZING knowledge by the staff. Especially the owner Annie.They expanded in less than one year to include a better sitting area. The selection and friendliness of the staff is top tier.The selection is very good. I would guess there are at least over 100 beers there. at least. Not to mention the specialty beers like sour beer, fruit beer and international beer.

Great Location to get different beers on taps and in bottles. They rotate regularly and feature different breweries - always a good reason to go in. Only downfall - the AC is way too high and its very cold. I always bring a jacket.

I love this place, but theyre beer selection didnt conform too society. Oh, thats a good thing? Too many conformist taprooms in your life? Then this is a 5 start review for you. They always have a unique taplist of very solid beers, but I guess if Im being honest with myself, and as much as Id like to emphasize my individuality, I prefer a solid 6% IPA more often than not.Maybe its less a problem with this bar and more an issue with all the other bars in the area. Its all Applebees clones up here. I want to go someplace with character, and SB is at the top of that list. But I guess I just find myself wanting more out of the tap list.

This place will quickly become your regular watering hole. The staff is knowledgeable and will remember you after just a couple visits. Beer selection is always good and rotates just about daily. Bottle shop has fair pricing and decent selection with new product all the time.

Amazing staff very helpful and knowledgeable, good selection of beers on tap and many more on the shelves anything from mead, wine, and ciders to IPAS, lagers, and bourbon barrel aged beers. They also have hotdogs for cheap and free bar snack mix. Order deliver invite some friends and have a good night, Wednesdays and weekends recommended.
