Poor customer service as they never returned calls while I tried to purchase a rolling walker. I was never given a choice of models or manufactures. Lincare tried to sell me a “one size fits all” “cookie cutter” one that would not accommodate my needs. After 17 1/2 days of trying to no avail I fired them. You have rights as a paying patient and customer.

My family and I, all use c-Pap machines and have given them our business for many years … ..we’ve had nothing but problems with them the last three years … I use my machine every night .. no matter what .. they sent someone to my house and tried to take my machine away for not using it enough ( BTW I OWN IT ) so I refused to give it to them .. it’s been three months and my insurance company nor myself can even get anyone on the phone … I’m DONE with them .. looking for a new place and hopefully can finally get some supplies as well !!! Run away … don’t walk ! Save yourself the stress and headache 🤕
Every freakin time I call there is a problem with non-compliance. I wear my mask every NIGHT! I am so frustrated it is causing anxiety! They will tell you your doctor either never sent the information or the doctor sent the wrong information. What is going on there it is a train wreck. I am sooo done... If you are new, do yourself a favor and find another company to work with. I am finding one now. I had given them 3 years to get their S#@* together and its not happening.
We were headed up from TN to visit my family in Richmond over Thanksgiving and I forgot to pack a piece of my husband’s CPAP hose/mask. The very helpful staff here not only gave us the part we needed, but also took a look at my husband’s mask and gave him a newer, better one that should help him move more easily. So not only did they meet our needs, but went above and beyond...at no charge.
I almost didn’t go to Lincare after seeing the reviews, but decided to go since my Dr highly recommended them. I’m glad I went! BillyJo is who worked with me. She did an amazing job explaining everything and helping me!
We have been waiting for a call from the Lynchburg, VA office for approximately 10 days, in order to get a CPAP machine that my husband needs and we have heard nothing from the office. In addition, his doctor re-faxed the prescription earlier this week because they stated that they had not received it. His doctor states that he needs this machine ASAP so that he doesn’t go into a-fib again. What do we have to do in order to get this moving?
My husband and I like Lincare. The staff has been friendly and helpful. The volume of customers they service is tremendous and I think that they do a good job of handling so many people in a small space with not enough staff.
Dr faxed in prescription yesterday...Kelly gave me an appointment at 10am today. Got there early...and was seen early by Eric. Professional and excellent fitting for an APAP machine and mask...Eric explained operation, cleaning, assembly etc. Great visit!!!!Recommend.
Not willing to help. Nasty attitudes. Ladies at the front desk are nice. Thats about it.
Believe the staff to have good intentions, but clearly no training, outdated computers and filing system. They make any simple task very difficult. To buy Cpap equipment its clear they have no idea how to properly apply with insurance. Ive switched to online companies, dont expect this place to be around much longer. They also sold my information to other companies whom have called trying to drum up service.

Chose Lincare because I thought I would get great customer service. Did not happen. Purchased CPAP machine with insurance and would have paid a lot more. You can purchase a new/used unit a lot cheaper! Was never offered this option!!! Try calling their billing dept - more bad customer service. Terrible experience. Go with Roberts Home Medical if you are in the Lynchburg area. The store is dirty and not well lit. Half the lights are out in the ceiling. Not a good experience at all.
Very difficult to get anyone to answer at the Lynchburg location. The main office in Florida is not any better. I think Im about ready to find another provider.
Summary: Good local staff, terrible parent company, disastrous billing practices, zero inter-office communication. Constant source of frustration.Details:- Local staff: Competent, kind/caring, trying to do right, but powerless. The absolute only reason I gave the 2nd star.- Billing / Financial Assistance: Absolute disaster. Each branch is handled separately, and the parent company/customer advocates cant get anything right. None of them seem to communicate with one another. If you get assistance for one thing (oxygen) then good luck trying to get it for another (CPAP). Once you DO get it, expect it to be wrong AND to be subsequently billed for outstanding balances you shouldnt owe, even after talking to 4 different areas (advocate, corporate, local office 1, local office 2). It should be *criminal* to run a business like this.- Parent / Corp Structure: Terrible, Linde has horrible reviews from its ex-workers, and it seems Lincare became a disaster after Linde acquired it.- Apparently the home medical business is just a disaster in general, because Lincare apparently doesnt have good competition. Other companies in the area have similar problem. Can no one get this stuff right? Have they all just decided to give up on caring about customers?

It had took my son forever to get his cpap. I have been calling everyday, each day they come up with the Dr. has not send in the prescription. Which wasnt true he had send it in 3 times.
