Great selection of games, super cool menu! Got a pistachio blackberry lemonade which sounds odd but tastes delicious! Their music choice is phenomenal, mostly soundtracks from video games and older movies, it really adds to the atmosphere and makes gaming a little more intense haha. My friends and I drove up from farmville, about an hour out and it was so worth the drive. Menu is reasonably priced with lots of different add ins for drinks available in sugar free and seasonal options, including a “surprise me” option where one rolls a d20 to receive a mystery drink which is a cute touch! We visited August 28th, 2021 at around 2pm during their open house event where admission was free and they held a raffle for board games. Great experience for all ages with games ranging in play times from 5 minutes to a few hours, polite staff! Wonderful time was had by all!

This place is awesome! Over 1000 games and the owner, Whitney, is so very helpful to finding the right game and teaching you how to play in 5 mins. They also have some delicious loose leaf teas. Great price, great drinks, great company and great games. What could be better! Highly recommend checking it out

I absolutely love this game store. I come here with my friends from school and play there. We drive over an hour just to come here. The environment in here is always so welcoming, and the drinks are nice and won’t break the bank

Fun atmosphere, very friendly staff and regulars, and creative menu. Their d20 drink is probably my favorite where you roll a d20 and depending on the result, they make a mystery drink for you. Ive only had one drink from that I didnt like from that set, and the food is pretty good. Organized play is fun and engaging with opportunities for beginners and experienced players alike

I absolutely love this place! They have a great atmosphere and the business concept is fantastic. I love being able to play games that I wouldnt be able to afford or Im unsure if I would like. The bathrooms are clean. The food is good. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Its going to be a staple for my friend group.

Great variety of boardgames available here (i believe there are over 800 games)! We had fun trying and learning new games - time really flew by fast while we were there. They also have a cafe that serves food and drinks but we did not get a chance to try it today.

Meeples is a fun place to hang out and play board games with your friends and family, on friday nights you can visit then and play games with other people on community game night! Over all a fun place to hang out for the day or evening.

Definitely the thing I miss most about living in Lynchburg!With hundreds of games and more appearing all the time, youll never run out of interesting and exciting new games to play but youll also be able to play all your favorites! Dont know what to play? The owners are able to recommend games to try next! Ten-minute party games or ten-hour masterful strategy games, they have the game for you and everything in between.

My favorite place in Lynchburg! Such a great deal for hours of entertainment. Whitney and Patrick are so friendly and their service is great. If you don’t know what to play next they will happily give you recommendations and then explain how the game works quickly and efficiently. The selection is great, the food is awesome, and honestly there’s no other place I’d rather spend my Saturdays!

First of all, the selection of games here is immense- there is a near guarantee that you will both find games you already love, and discover new games which you will love even more.Meeples has, over time, developed an extremely welcoming community, making it an amazing place to meet new people!Finally, the café portion has very good coffee and food, and the prices are very good!Overall, I highly recommend it- the whole atmosphere of the place is enough to find yourself coming back over and over again!

Do yourself a favor and go check out Meeples!!My husband and I went, paid $5 each for 6 hours - and its so worth it. Theres a cafe with snacks and beverages and the owners are wonderful, wonderful people with an extensive knowledge of most of the 800+ options available. Anything from Uno, Candy Land, to some of those SUPER long strategy games everyone loves. They also seemed to have rooms available for tournaments and campaigns.

First time here tonight! We had a blast! We were welcomed and greeted by one of the owners who was very friendly and helpful. He asked what kinds of games we were interested in and we were surprised that they had a very new game we were looking for! Note that their website library of games is not up to date. We played Wingspan, Patrick (the owner) helped us set the game up and ran through the rules and our first round SUPER HELPFUL which we were not expecting. Our experience was fantastic and we felt very welcomed by the other customers there too. Highly recommend giving them a try, you cant beat the price either! Tell me where you can go and have fun for $5?!

I have been coming to this place ever since they first opened downtown. I have seen them grow and expand but maintain their drive to do right by their customers and their community. Having grown from a single shelf to a library of 800 and counting, they have board games that can cater to any age range and preference of complexity.Not being a coffee drinker myself I can only repeat what I have heard,vand everyone I have heard speak of it raves about how good it is. So even if board games arent your cup of tea, you can still stop by and get a delicious cup of tea! If you want to support local businesses especially in the churning morass that is this pandemic, Meeples is definitely one to wildly fling money at.

Meeples is the best hangout in Lynchburg! They have over 800 board games and their staff is extremely knowledgeable about them. The store owner, Whitney, is great at helping you find your new favorite game. Their food and drinks are really good. I would go just for their coffee! The community that attends Meeples events, like Dungeons and Dragons on Mondays, is also super welcoming! Overall, its a great place to hang out with family and friends or make new friends!

All of the staff is nice and knowledgeable. I have never felt excluded from the community as a DnD player, which is great when youre a women.

I went to Meeples once over a year ago at a friends recommendation to try Monday D&D, and ended up:- going consistently every Monday since, outside of holidays and the like- picking up board games as a hobby on non-Monday nights, which wasnt a thing prior to my first visit- making a bunch of friendsThe owners are down to earth, the drinks are delicious (their Chai Latte easily ranks top 3 creamiest in Lynchburg), and the community is welcoming. Highly recommend.

A fun and charming place with a wide variety of game choices from party to strategy. Admission is only $5.35 with tax and that gets you access to all of there games as well as a gummy bear jar. The admission ticket doubles as a 10% discount coupon to Bean Tree Café which is right next door. My only complaint would be that it is a little cramped with the table placement but with a starting business that is to be expected. I think its a great place, with a fun atmosphere, and amazing people working there who are passionate about group tabletop gaming.

Been here a few times and Ive got to say, its nice to have a place like this in Lynchburg where unless you like Car Dealerships, Chik-Fil-A, or Clothing Store #47, theres really not much else to do here.Absolute ton of games to play, everyone is always friendly, and I finally got to introduce my brother to Carcassonne and then proceed to beat him every time in it.Would absolutely recommend swinging by with some friends and check it out! Real cheap compared to other forms of entertainment you can find and youre guaranteed to have hours of fun.Id recommend Superfight!

Came here with a few friends for the Arkham Epic Event and had an awesome time. Staff were all really friendly. They have a massive selection of board games and card games to choose from. They also have a selection of food and drinks, teas and coffees. I would definitely recommend anyone local who enjoys coffee or teas, board games or card games to come here for events or bring a few friends and play.
