I had my Mustang repainted several years ago by Maaco and it turned out great! The rear bumper got hit and needed to be repainted. The paint color matches and looks great! Everything was as stated on the estimate. I am very satisfied.

They did a great job on my black truck, a hard color to get right!

I was told to bring my vehicle in on a specific date. I did what was asked of me and my vehicle was not started on until the following week. I was told during the time of drop off that I would be called in 2 weeks when the vehicle was finished. My vehicle was not returned until 5 weeks later. During my first visit to inspect the paint and bodywork done to my vehicle I was not impressed for the high price I was paying. Those issues were addressed and looked worse on my second visit to inspect the work. I pointed that out to the shop manager only to be responded to with a negative we are not going to buff the whole car. The bodywork can be seen throughout the vehicle. I was under the impression that the purpose of bodywork is so that the eye cannot detect it. It has been about 3 days since I picked up my vehicle and I am seeing spot that were misses in the bodywork and prep process. Keep in mind I did not pay a few hundred dollars for this service. Good money was spent with poor results. My estimate on paper did not reflect the work done. Now granted the car is shining but for how long. I supplied all high end materials and feel that I got the short end of the stick. The shop I used was in Lynchburg, Va. I would advise anyone that chooses to use this location to PLEASE have you bodywork done elsewhere before allowing this location to paint. I am NOT satisfied with the results I got. I hope this review of my experience will help someone make the right choice when it comes to their paint and restoration needs

It took over a month for my truck the be finished. The first time I went to pick it up there were numerous pinholes across the area where I was getting it painted. On the second time I got a call telling me the paint was a different shade from the rest of my truck. I went to go pick up my truck again and there was still obvious imperfections. Very inconvenient and wasted a lot of my time.

Fairly Decent paint Job, on my Van. would have given them 5/5 except very poor turn around time. Promised 2 weeks but on week 1 work was not even started . Took 3 weeks . Also White paint on my Back tires & door trim ripped & missing .Customer service is great though.

Took a 2005 Toyota Tacoma in after it sat in the South Carolina sun for years. Jeff at MAACO gave me an honest and fair assessment. The results are beautiful. They painted the camper shell as well, painted grill and polished headlights... its a brand new truck!

Friendly staff and they stand by their work. They will honor the warranty if anything goes wrong no questions asked. Ive been a customer for yrs and often refer friends and family.

I will not go to anyone else but these guys. Jeff and Neil are awesome!! Sweetest guys and super knowledgeable. I never feel screwed over and I always get the best service. I wish I could take my car there for all services! There’s no where else you need to look for body work and repair but here.

I have taken 3 cars to get painted at Maaco in the last two week all together at once, was supposed to touch up two cars and repaint another car, one car getting Factory repaint touch-ups, and headlights cleaned, touch-ups were fine did a great job, but one of my headlights that were supposed to be clean were only 75% clean, still has old residue, plus two scratches on my car that wasnt there before next to one of the headlight that was cleaned, taking it back to Mako tomorrow morning, Monday morning to see what they do about the problem, will make a further response after Monday., new review, took the vehicle back Monday to Maaco, pointed out the problems that I talked about before, Jeff.. Had it taken care of, now there is nothing left to complain about, beautiful vehicle, beautiful job thank you Jeff and Maaco, wonderful job

I went here looking for honest information about what was wrong with the paint on the hood of my car. The person who took a look at my car instead try to sell me on painting the entire hood, and when given a price it was over 100 dollars more than just buying a new hood. I told him that and he said, no you would have to paint the hood again he said this twice, even though most of the hoods you can buy are between 125-200$ for my vehicle and come finished, and in the right color Im looking for.I am very dissatisfied that the man I spoke with was not willing to be up front and honest and instead continued to try to sell me on something I did not need.

I feel like they did a great job for a great price. Only complaint I have is I had a foot print in the back seat. I thought they should’ve put down plastic or something before stepping on it. Or cleaned it afterwards.

I can not say enough about the great service we received this week. They gave us a fantastic price on their paint job and had our car in and out in just a few days. Even though we purchased one of the lower priced paint services due to the age of the car, the paint job was superior. There was no over spray anywhere on the vehicle and we could tell that they care about their lower priced services as they do about their high end jobs. The employees there were incredible and went above and beyond. I have a 1997 GMC pickup and after seeing the job they did with my sons first car, my truck will be in their shop within a week or two. Very satisfied with work performed on several vehicles. Staff was nice and jobs were completed in timely fashion. Had a lot of equipment stolen out of one my vehicles while on their back lot. My vehicle was locked and broken into. Their insurance did not cover, and Maaco offered nothing to make the situation right. Because of this, we have had to take our business somewhere else. Really liked the people their, and would have continued to take all of our business there, if this would not have happened. My recommendation if you have work done there, take all equipment out of work trucks, even if locked, and secured. Sadly we were not given that advice.I took the owners advice, and contacted Maacos corporate office approximately four months ago. I then followed up, and still no response. Very disappointed that there has been no effort to resolve the situation. Even an apology hasnt occured.. Will continue to take my business somewhere else, after many years of going just to Maaco, and referring lots of people to Maaco.

When I came to pick up my car, I was a bit in shock as they’d painted it the wrong color. They repainted it the correct color and paid for a rental for me but it was a pain in the butt. The car looks great after they got the color corrected.

My child had a wreck in an older car with liability insurance only. It was either trash the car or fix it affordably. After looking at the cost & condition of used cars I decided to fix the old reliable car. Explained that I was paying for 100% of the repair and they developed a repair plan that was reasonable. Car looks great and runs fine. Very impressed with the job. Their fee was lower than quotes from other shops.Update: I opted for a higher grade paint and two years later still looks great.

Amazing! Got the $300 paint special for my 1997 dark red corvette and it looks like a new car! Its only been a week so durability performance is unknown. Jeff told me there might be some overspray but it was minimal and definitely worth it! Thanks!

I do a lot of business with this Maaco. They go out of their way to make sure youre happy and things are done quickly.

I had to get my bumper fixed on the back of my 2012 Scion and it turned out amazing everything lined up perfectly the color matched perfect and they even took the extra step to wash my car and the staff is very friendly and welcoming definitely will use them again if need to in the future.

They Said the turn around was5-7 business days . Just to paint the cab of a Toyota pickup truck . Not a big truck at all . They had my truck for 3 weeks which was unacceptable . They did a extremely poor job of keeping me up to date . Never new what was going on and had to call them . Said they were behind like 3 days behind like they always had a excuse .. I get there to finally get my truck i look it over doors and roof they did a good job on. My hood and front fenders not so much . There were imperfections that could have been cover up with ease but they were to lazy to do so . I go inside and pay for the services that I agreed to. They then proceeded to tell me they lost the key to my truck . LOST KEY TO MY TRUCK!! I have a spare at the house I go home to get it and return . My truck will not start it’s dead . I looked under the hood the battery terminals are all chewed up from them jumping my truck tons of times . I never got a call saying my truck was having issues running . There was nuthin wrong with it when I took it there. So truck will not run and they lost the key to my truck .. and to make matters worst there was sanding residue everywhere inside and out didn’t not even bother to clean it . It was a horrible experience . Don’t take your hard earn money hear. This place is shady as hell. All the manger and to say was he did not know . I give this place a total zero and never will I do business with this place of shady characters what a dam joke . That was July 2019 Now it’s August 2020 A year has passed the owner of Macco has never tried to get in contact with me or anyone who Works there to try to make things right .Now the the roof is cracking On just year old paint job . Not satisfied is a understatement. Disappointed I spent my hard earned money with people who don’t care to do a good job . Very sad and disheartening. I called them and left a email with customer support team at the link that was given to me from the owner below I never heard a response out of them . You guys owe me a new battery a new alternator and money of the paint job so I can go get the roof fixed else were: I’m dead serious this not a joke.....

Fantastic service, I had recently been in a rather dramatic accident (A T-Bone) that took out my bumper cover, my right headlight, and bent my fender and hood. I had gone to a number of other autobody shops to get an estimate, and while there was one other estimate that was cheaper, albeit at a rather sketchy shop, Maacos seemed to be the best value for the price by far. Neil, the serviceman that I worked with, was very honest and upfront, letting me know the ins and outs of what would go on during the repair, and warned me of the potential costs that could accrue if more damage was found. Thankfully, there were only some minor parts found after the estimate that needed to be repaired, and it didnt cost me a cent, since they worked very well with my insurance company. The quality of the repair was stellar. Ive had it for about two weeks now, and vehicle actually looks better than it did before the wreck! While you may hear bad reviews about other Maacos locations, the team at the Lynchburg location is very skilled and worked very hard to get my car done before I needed to leave for vacation, despite the fact that they were under no obligation to finish the repairs within such a short window of time. I was extremely pleased with my service at Maacos and will definitely go there again should the need arise. Thank you Maacos!
