Please do not waste the time or money. I had a appointment in January. The Doctor was great. The girl that orders the glasses cant get it right. Ordered the wrong lenses four times. Gives me the run around. Its September and I am still unable to get the correct lens. I have been so many times I am just tired of it. I will not go back ever. I have been given the run around so much I just threw the glasses away. My two year old glasses are better than what they gave me. I will have to just chalk it up to money thrown away and the insurance benefit lost. Never again!

Since they have switched systems the service and quality has diminished greatly. I waited almost 2 1/2 to be seen for just a yearly examination. I love doctor White but having to wait a year for an open appointment only to arrive and wait almost 3 hrs is ludicrous.

I just called and asked if they took my insurance and the lady at the front desk said not that I know of I asked if I could speak to an insurance person and she said corporate did insurance. I asked if the lady in the office behind her (because I have been going there for years)who use to do insurance could help me she said they dont have anyone there. Offered no help what so ever.....

I was visiting Lumberton as a disaster recovery volunteer when I noted significant floaters in my right eye. Floaters can be a symptom of a detached retina, a serious condition. Even though I was not a regular patient and they had no available appointment slots the next day they fit me in. Dr. White did a thorough eye exam and clearly explained what was happening with my vision and the necessary follow-up when I returned home. The care was excellent.

My wife purchased a expensive pair of glasses with this company, 6 months later the Antireflective coating they put on it has started flaking off on the inside of the lenses. Their forcing me to buy another pair out of pocket, says there glasses only lasts 3 months. Walmart glasses has a 1 year warranty without questions asked. Eyecarecenter is a fraud company!!!!!UPDATE: Got a phone call about this horrific situation, will update the outcome...... TBCUPDATE 2: The manager of The Eye Care Center of Lumberton manager Mrs. Tonya contacted my wife and corrected this situation. Mrs. Tonya was professional and considerate towards my wife’s situation. I can see why she’s the manager well done Mrs. Tonya. More businesses should adopt your professionalism (this will help keep customers) Thank you
