I went into Oak Creek homes looking for the perfect home. It was hot and I really didn’t want to look at every single one. Jim Bagley was our sales agent, and I honestly believe he is a mind reader. The first home he showed us was everything I wanted. It was perfect! Jim took time to answer all of my questions and explained everything thoroughly. Definitely go in and check out their homes and ask for Jim!

Update: ive been in the house for about 3 months. I still have faulty plugs which is a fire hazard. Faulty lighting that never worked. Faulty heater that never worked. A subfloor board which is loose... Not nailed down! AC barely blows in the front side of the house. Cant fill the tub in the master bathroom with hot water... Luke warm at best... Hand held water head in the shower barely flows water despite having adequate pressure throughout the house...The response has consistently been: Well get your skirting soon and we are short handed so hopefully we will fix your issues, just turn off all AC vents at night so your room is comfortable. Oh, so sorry everyone is experiancing similar problems.Its a nice layout despite numerous quality and safety issues, but you want to consider either another location to buy from another builder.

Oak Creek homes in Lufkin has stood out the most to us in the 1.5 years we have been looking for our perfect starter home. The houses on the lot differ a lot from each other, not resemble each other like a few other places we’ve seen. These mobile homes are beautiful and I can truly see calling one of them “home”. Our salesman, Calvin, did absolutely wonderful. He showed us exactly what we asked for and explained why each one would fit our criteria. We walked away loving every single one he showed us (very unusual). A fun fact, the houses are BEAUTIFULLY decorated for your convenience to see what it would look like furnished, & Calvin informed us it is actually his mother that comes in and decorates the houses for them. She did a beautiful job & it made it easier to envision actually living in it. Calvin also mentioned to us we have the option to make changes; such as countertops, wall color, cabinet color, etc. Many places we have been looking, there are no changes to be made & the few that you can, it is super expensive. At Oak Creek, it’s no extra charge. Another thing we loved, the houses have full electricity & AC. We decided to “house shop” one evening around 4pm while it was 96 degrees out. This made a huge difference looking at the insides, most places do not have electricity set up. Although this is a scary & nerve racking experience, our salesman Calvin promised to make this experience as happy and exciting with as least worry as possible. We will definitely be back to talk more details over & hopefully sign papers in the near future.

My husband and I spent the day looking around at multiple homes and Oak Creek was our first stop. Calvin Smallwood immediately greeted us as we stepped into the office. He welcomed us back to his desk and asked what we were looking for in a home. Then Calvin took us on a tour of some of the most gorgeous model homes wed ever seen! He started from the lowest price point and worked up and every single time I kept saying this one is my favorite haha. He was knowledgeable as well as informative and the entire experience felt like he was our personal realtor instead of a salesman. He was looking out for our best interest in every home he walked us through!After leaving Oak Creek we went to a few other companies to see their homes and we realized very quickly, Oak Creek takes pride in their homes and showmanship because the rest of our finds were very disappointing.We wound up returning back to Oak Creek the same day with my husbands brother and his wife as they were looking around too and luckily Calvin was still there.
