Being a girl it was hard to find a mechanic who I felt was honest. Well my boss recommended Scott about a year ago. The first time I had been told I needed nearly a $1000 of work done from other mechanics. Took it to Scott and he simply said I needed a tune up and new spark plugs. 100 bucks and a day later I was back on the road! Today my my car broke down I didn’t hesitate to have it towed there. They are always kind to me, and give me a fair price. Seriously if your a single lady who fears mechanics and their sketchy ways, Scott’s your guy!,

I cant say enough good things about Precision Auto or Scott. When our van broke down, we were all but certain it needed a new motor after having been told months before by another shop that it needed a new oil pump (a repair which cost about 30% of what a new motor would cost, so we had put off doing that repair in favor of a new motor later). We had gambled and drove the van from Utah to Texas, hoping wed get it back home to Utah, where we planned to replace the motor. Unfortunately the transmission went out in Lubbock and immediately after that repair was done, the engine began knocking. We were given Scotts name by Ken at A-1 Transmission (also highly recommended), and planned to have him put in a new motor so we could get our baby home. We were fully prepared to pay the nearly $6000 for the motor and install. After driving across town to pick up the key which had been left behind by the tow truck driver, Scott checked out the van and called to tell us that not only was the motor fine, the oil pump was fine, too. Turns out an o-ring had gone out, and hed seen it so many times he had the part in stock. $347 later, the van is fixed and were back in business. This is the finest example of honesty and integrity in a mechanic Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Not only that, he was kind and professional as I tried to wrangle all of this over the phone from Utah. Wish I could give him 10 stars.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I was told by another auto repair shop that my brakes were shot and needed to be repaired immediately. I was recommended to Precision by a family friend, and I am so glad I went there for a second opinion. They were completely honest when inspecting my brakes. They informed me my brakes were find just a little dirty. I am blown away by the professionalism and honest.I will forever use Precision for any future car repairs!!Jackie

This is the shop next to 34th and loop. My expectations where shattered. This has good customer service, but thier work is very poor. Brought back a few times. Thier work experience seems to be very poor. The 5 stars review must have been from a diffrent location. Bolts where missing and the front wheel alignment came out of our pocket. When i first got car back. Nothing at all lined up. They blamed the insurance? REALLY? had to bring car back. To be without car for a few more days. For some reason they wait till last min to put paint parts back together. They didnt even blend the side with the front bumper. This experience was the worst. I dont know how this place has 4.5 stars. Parts under car falling off. This wreack wasnt our fault and ended up costing me over $300 dollars. Wheel alignment, driverside bearing and new tire.
