Jetta needed a new turbo so take it in to the closest dealership because I’m out of state from Miami Fl. Told them it needs a new turbo and the service lady tells me okay we still need to hook it up and get the codes to get a diagnosis which i had no problem with she said an hour wait. We walk across to the movie theater to kill time come back an hour later to see the car hadn’t moved. And then when we walk in the service lady sees us and realizes my car hasn’t been seen walls by me outside without saying anything gets in my car and moves it to get looked at and then comes back in says it will be a few more minutes mind you this is an hour and 10 minutes later the car is finally getting looked at. Was finally told i need a new turbo had to wait long for the part to come in and had issues on repair day was not called at all and they’re managers were no were to be seen. Unprofessional dealership.

I made an appointment at 12, and upon arrival there was nobody in the office. We had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone walked in. Then we were told it takes about an hour to run diagnostics, so we left for an hour and came back to find our car had not moved-hadn’t been seen. We went into the office to look for the person who helped us, who was nowhere to be seen, and yet again nobody helped us. That was until the person who had initially helped us saw us in the office and decided that would be when the car would be seen. They moved the car then came in to tell us it would only be a few minutes and said nothing else. My experience was terrible, costumer service was terrible, overall very unhappy.

Horrible!!!! I contacted SEVERAL times to buy a used car, asked to speak w a salesperson who was actually iat the dealership to verify the cars condition, i was give the run around by the internet sales staff, given an appointment - called to verifiy the car was there before i left my house for the hour and 30 min drive to the appt when i was 2 mins away, i got a call they sold it. Not once did someone offer to let me pay to hold the car, after i said i would come by the car if it was in the condition they claimed. Now i wonder if they even really had it!

Beware the catfishing! They advertise a few very cheap cars that they do not have anymore: when you go to test drive the car, they tell you that it was already sold and then try to sell you other cars. Theyve done this a few times to me. Always ask for the VIN of the car you are trying to purchase before you go and then make sure they are showing you this same car.

I called to make an appointment to see one of their vehicles. The next day I called to cancel because I wasn’t interested in the vehicle anymore (rightfully so) The man tries to tell me I have to pay $99 to cancel my appointment, which I was not told upon making the appointment and then this man proceeds to be extremely rude to me. He was telling me he’s going to mail me a bill and that I “took up their time” even though I called and canceled in advance so that they were able to give someone else that spot. Don’t shop here they’re snakes clearly.

Left a detailed message with somebody at the office because their techs were too busy to hear me asking about scheduling a diagnosis. Fast forward to 3 days later no record of my message or note. I followed up and tried to find a day that would work since this location does oil changes and nothing else on weekends. While checking my schedule Mike decided I wasnt worth his time and hung up. Ill take my business elsewhere. I probably dodged a bullet with a place that could care less about professionalism.

Originally bought my 2016 GTI from Atamian VW in Tewksbury but they stopped dealing with VW 2 months after I bought the car >.>. After that I have been using this dealership and have had nothing but great customer service. Recently had to have my turbo replaced and they did a great job in a timely manner.

Mike in the service department is EXCELLENT! Ive been to other dealerships and other places for car service and Im going to say, he is THE BEST. He did a great job of explaining my options before getting the service and then explaining the work that was done. I also appreciated that he gave me tips on what to look out for rather than pushing me to keep adding on service. And he was also friendly and personable and made sure I got a complimentary shuttle ride in a timely manner. Id highly recommend taking your Volkswagen to this service department. Its much further than my local places but Ill surely be going back.

This is our 5th car purchase from the Gervais family. 3 Fords and 2 VWs. The level of customer service is off the charts. These dealerships are run the RIGHT way, they listen to the customer, provide a great price and dont employ outdated and annoying Sales tactics. We have always been treated great and every transaction was quick and smooth. For this purchase Bobby the GM and Kevin in Finance were great, easy to deal with and smooth and quick transaction. The dealership was set up safely to address COVID.

He was always quick to respond, did not mess around and the price was right. When he told me how much something would cost or how long something would take, it was an exact number and then delivered on it exactly. I wish more dealerships operated like this. Brought my car in for its 90,000 mile service. Check engine light has been on for about two weeks but I declined to get it diagnosed as it cost $100 extra when I can just do that at home with an ODB 2 scanner. The man at the service desk was kind and helpful. When my car was done and the keys and papers were brought up, the mechanic clearly said my check engine light went off but they did something and it came back on?? He then stated how there was an issue with a part that deals with the coolant and how it would need to be fixed. He stated the amount of hours and cost and then stated something about “maintenance”. When I went to pay, none of this was relayed back to me. I suppose they wanted me to pay the $100 just to tell me this. I owned a BMW prior to this. If I brought it to get serviced and they found something wrong with my car when doing something else, they told me. I didn’t have to pay to find out if they found it while working on it. I got a car from the dealership I believe but I was in a building and it disconnected. I was expecting a call back but nope. Nothing. Not bringing it here and wouldn’t recommend this place either. I don’t know what they did to my car or how my check engine light went off and somehow went back on when they were messing with it. Just trying to get money out of people.

Bobby rolled out the red carpet for me. Made everything clear, concise, easy to understand, and transparent. They even helped me get my last car to the old dealership, got a specialist to show me all of the great features on my new car, AND a full tank of gas. No detail was missed. He made purchasing my car easier than I ever could have imagined, and certainly changed my opinions on the car-buying process since it was a quick, no BS transaction. I personally will be back, and will be telling all of my friends and co-workers to buy there as well.

Called for a test drive during pandemic, was told I’d have to commit to buying the car before test driving it, at which point what is the point of a test drive? The employee said every VW in the area will be doing the same thing. Immediately called the Bedford location and set up a normal test drive the same day. I highly recommend Minuteman Volkswagon in Bedford, MA!

Overall experience was solid. No aggressive upselling and quick/easy finalization. Brought the car in for an oil change and 2 recall campaigns. A very friendly service mgr. did call with some suggested work following the complimentary inspection, but was never pushy about getting any of it done. The only downside to it all was the online scheduling tool wasnt working, so as painful as it was, I had to call and talk to someone. But they got me in and got it done.

You have been warned!! Place is a complet RIP off. Will charge you for repairs when vehicle is still under warranty, will over charge you for repairs, so as fair warning shop around before u commit to a repair. Get the same repair from another dealer at a cheaper rate and done correctly. Dealer is super small and staff are ignorant. Read the other reviews there spot on. Would not recommend !!

I made my appointment with Bill and was very satisfied with how he handled my appointment and communication of the status of my service. This was my first interaction with the Service Dept. as it was the first 10,000 mile scheduled maintenance. While I am satisfied with the overall mechanical service performed, I was surprised that the car was not washed or vacuumed as a courtesy. In the interests of full disclosure, I will state that I was not lead to believe that this would be performed but I do believe that it should go without saying as part of providing quality service to the customer during scheduled maintenance.

First time doing the whole car process by myself—I started with Kevin, I thought I should see other prices too, I went to a few other dealerships who gave me super high prices; when I told other dealers the price Gervais gave me they told me something was wrong—that it wasn’t possible to get it that low with my credit (it was possible, I’m paying said price now), some lied to me over the phone to get me in the door, etc.Ultimately, I should have stuck with Gervais, Kevin, and Bobby the entire time. They were so patient with me and always very professional. I really got a great price for a car I never thought I could afford—I absolutely love my car and I’m so thankful for them as I was treated great during this entire process.

This car buying process with Gervais has been a nightmare and I would steer everyone away unless you are family or looking for a very specific vehicle. I would have given them zero stars if possible.#1 I first contacted the dealership 2 days after a car arrived on the lot asking for photos and more details about the car. I continued to contact the dealership at least twice a week for updates. The pictures were never sent to me and I never received any updates. It took roughly a month to finally see photos of the car and it was only because I was consistent in checking the internet.#2 I drove 3 hours to look at the car and was only greeted with the usual dealership lies such as “the car is priced so low we cannot negotiate the price” and “we can run the numbers for you, but the deal is only good for today”. Both are just usual lines from the dealership to make a buyer anxious to put money down and commit to a car they can’t afford. After all of the trouble I went through, they were still not willing to move off of the price (not even a dollar) and I wasn’t greeted by anyone besides the floor salesman (who was the only pleasant part of my experience).#3 I was looking for a very specific model car and ended up purchasing the car anyway. I came from out of state, so I needed to get the paperwork situated and was trying to work with the dealership, so I could register the car out of state before picking it up. I wanted to drive the car back legally instead of towing it back. They would not work with me or send me any documentation, so I could accomplish what I was aiming to do. I asked for the manufacturer’s statement of origin, so they could still keep the title in their name and I could still get the car registered to drive legally. They stated, “the manufacturer’s statement of origin was the same as the title”, which is a complete lie.#4 I stated I could come back Friday around closing time, but I was told none of the notaries could stay late so I had to wait another day to complete the sale. I stated I would come back Saturday morning and asked that all of the paperwork be ready, the car cleaned, and with a full tank of gas so I could get back on the road as soon as possible. When I arrived, the car was being “recleaned” and not very well because there was still sticker residue all over the windshield from previous stickers / documents. The documents were mostly completed, but the notaries weren’t present to notarize my signature. They notarized someone else’s signature at the dealership, which could have easily been completed the day prior. They said they couldn’t even fill it up with gas because it was already filled up when they took the car in off of a trade. These were all further lies from the manager. I didn’t meet the sales manager until I had a check in my hand, even though I put money down and committed to purchasing the car the first time I was at the dealership. Just another sign that this dealership doesn’t care about customers or to work with customers, you are just a source of income to them and that is it.#5 I asked for an inspection of the car prior to purchase and for the inspection documents during the final purchase meeting, but I did not receive the paperwork. Soon after buying the car, I noticed that the passenger side fog light was either loose or the tab is broken. They did not disclose this information or fix it prior to purchase. While the car was in transit, the antenna cover came flying off on the highway. I contacted the dealership and since these parts are “not detrimental to safety” and “not a component of the drive train”, they are not covered. Now I have to put another $400 into a barely used car I just purchased.I am just trying to help the next person avoid this headache. This transaction was a cash deal where dealerships are usually more willing to work with the buyer. This clearly was not the case and I would never recommend this dealership unless you are very particular about the car you are buying and cannot find it anywhere else.

Brought my car in for an engine noise. The tech (Wesley) was great. He found the issue and said they would need to order a few parts to fix. I followed up once a week for 4 weeks...my calls were never returned. Followed up in person...was told we will look into it...thanks for coming in Basically they blew me off. Stupid me waited 6 weeks before I figured out they had no interest in helping me. I had to goto another dealer (Colonial) to get the car fixed. Colonial had the parts in two days...and fixed the car right away.

Avoid service at all costs. Ended up paying over $1200 on my new GTI that was still under warranty. Tech said I caused the electrical problem by over tightening an electrical component in the engine bay that I never touched. A month later same problem occurred but this time it was covered under warranty? When I spoke to the tech to try and clarify he became confrontational accusing me of modifying electrical components. Service Manager gave me the corporate VW 800 number saying I give this out 2 to 3 times per week. The VW corporate customer support said they take the word of the dealer....had a great experience purchasing but will never go near this place. Asked the service manager if I could speak with owner but never heard back.

The dealership itself is nice enough. Clean and organized. The selection is good, but not huge. My salesman, Jhoan, was great. Very nice and knowledgeable and not pushy. Parts and service looks fine, but I havent had to deal with that yet. The waiting room is small but clean enough and has WiFi. It is also very easy to get to... Right next to cross point towers in Lowell.

An unsatisfactory experience. My original service appointment was lost in their system, so they were only able to do the oil change and air filters (an inconvenience on a work day). Their service technicians didnt balance my tires after the rotation. I also need to mention their technicians attitude set a very uncomfortable setting in the waiting area. They were aggressively maneuvering the service door, which was quite close to a sitting customer. You can tell the way they treat their customers cars. My seats were pretty dirty after a tech was in there changing the air filters. I ended up canceling my following appt (the services I originally scheduled with the oil change) because I came to a conclusion that I wont receive the service I pay for. Convenience and a trusted name doesnt always mean youll receive good service.

If I have a choice, I do not even want to give them this single star!This VW service site is the worst !!! Forgave me to start use the worst which I really do not want to use before now. Let me tell my story. I have two VW cars and always do my services with them -- meaning that I have spent a lot of money with them and deserve at least an honest service treatment. A few month ago, I did my VW recall service again with them on my Passat. After their recall fix, I started to notice engine oil leaking and went back to them for a check. I did not know if they really did the check or not, but I was told that they did thorough pressure check and found no oil leaking. I believed them and drove back, the oil leaking was still very obvious . I drove back to them again and asked for a check again, and this time I told them I could leave the car there to allow them sufficient time for the check. A few days later, I received a call and they told me that they have done the checking and found no oil leaking anywhere. I have no options but chose to believe them again. The problem was that every day I saw a large new oil mark under the engine. Recently I went to Sears for a break change and asked them to help checking the oil leaking problem. The Sears technician immediately located the problem and it was a very obvious problem that can be easily spotted by eyes ! I do not understand why this Gervais service site lie to me repeatedly and for what ! The only possibility I can imagine is that they do not want to fix the problem caused by their fault for free. That is all. I do not know what to say, but angry. I will never ever do any business with them again. I strongly advise others be careful with these guys!!!

LIARS. Gervais treats repeat customer with nothing but lies!We called to see if a specific used car was available. Kevin said yes, we asked if we could have the car put aside. At first kevin said no, under stable. So we offered to put $500 down on a credit card over the phone to ensure it was there for us when we came in to show we were serious buyers. Kevin then said “ you know what I can tuck that away for you when you come down” we set up a time to come in at 5:30. We show up EARLY at 5:10 as we pull in kevin pulls up the exact car he was holding for our SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT for another customer. When we confront Kevin about the situation he plays dumb and pretends to not know who we are. We are obviously pissed. So we go in and speak to the manager, didn’t get his name we can just call him Liar #2. After explaining the situation to the manager and Kevin pretending our previous conversation didn’t happen the manager offered nothing. The manager said it was policy to not take money down for used cars. THATS A NEW ONE, really I can’t put money down on a used car and go to the bank and get you a check?! I had no problem putting money down on a previous used car I bought from Gervais. The manager then proceeded to tell us that the guy test-driving the car “put in a credit application already” who puts in a credit app before you look at the car? The two of them lied directly to us and kept making up stories to cover themselves. I told them what I though of them and left, will never give them the time of day or even Gervais again for that matter.Don’t plaster your website with “set up an appointment to see the car” if you don’t actually mean it. We were more than willing to even give you money prior to us coming in to ensure it was there. I would have been happier if they owned up and said they dropped the ball. But to stand in front of us and not only lie but pretend to not remember who we were or we were coming in?! Come on.We took our money elsewhere to a REAL dealer who honored an appointmentShame on you Kevin and Manager

I have been there twice after I brought my car. My second experience was really bad. My car tire popped off. I went there for asking to order the same tire, and the servicer promised that he will call me once the tire arrived. However, there was no response from them and I have been waiting for their call for almost a month. I still dont know what was happened to them. So I went to another VW service center at Lawrence. I finally got my tire replaced.

Michael Turilli was my Salesman, he was very knowledgeable and open to any and all questions about the VW line of vehicles, the paperwork / financing processing and RMV / insurance requirements and paperwork. I enjoyed the process and love the Jetta I decided on. A scary process when it started was made fun and any of my fears were quickly removed from the process. Just had our VW EOS there for repair due to an accident, we worked with Bill in VW Service. Since we live over two hundred miles away and our car could not be towed up to our local dealer, we left our car with Bill. He kept us informed every step of the way after the insurance adjuster inspected the car, and they had approval to repair our car. We are very satisfied with the repair and very appreciative to Bill for keeping us in the loop and overseeing that everything was done per VW specifications. When we returned to pick up our car our little baby was washed and all shined up! We didnt even have to ask them to do that they just did it! They did an amazing job and the car drives just as it did before the accident.

Worst Customer service I ever deal with, I dont know what is Kevin Dunn role is at the dealership but looks like he needs to take some customer service classes, I did made a mistake on my inquiry over the internet and this is the e-mail I got back from him. so sorry for this guys.Alex,Everything I said to you is true. I told you we had 2 se w/ technology in stock they are V-6 engines. you said you wanted the 2.0 4 cylinder turbo. They are only available in the front wheel drive models. If you want AWD YOU HAVE TO GET A V-6. And according to the VW order guide the R line package with 2.0 engine and FWD is only available as a sold order. Check it with any dealer or go on line.As for a trade I am TREMENDOUSLY sorry that I so offended you by asking if you had one. I do not appreciate the shot at my integrity which I have never encountered before. Quite frankly given the way you are approaching this I am glad we did not get into numbers because you probrably would have taken them to another dealer after I did the work and give them your business I get that kind of vibe from you. I wasnt sure I was going to stick with VW when I returned my Passat diesel, but Bobby Des Forge answered all my questions, over several visits. I looked at other brands and decided to stick with VW. Bobby and Anthony found me the exact car I wanted at the price I was comfortable with. Even the dreaded price negotiation was a pleasant experience.
