I am new to the area & came in 7/1 evening for the first time. The set up is pretty nice. The issues I had were there wasn’t any greeting what so ever even though a lady was standing by the front door with drink samples. Also there were at least 3 employees walking around, but no one asked did I need assistance finding anything. The male cashier wasn’t pleasant & gave the most forced “hi” I have ever heard. It was best if he didn’t speak at all. Also he watched me struggle to get the box with 7 bottles in it without handles into the small cart without asking did I need assistance. As a woman I actually expected him to at least ask did I need help. He was so busy signaling the next customer to put their things on the counter before I could get my box into the cart. The only pleasant employee was the African American male that was assisting other customers. The first impression should be the best impression. What ever happened to good customer service? I will not be returning & spend my $ elsewhere.

We were greeted by Wes, the manager who immediately began helping us find what we needed. He made great wine recommendations and gave us very good value. They had everything we needed for our party and again, Wes could not have been more helpful. Liquor Barn is not the closest liquor store but that’s where we’ll be doing our shopping.

Broad selection of everything. Wide aisles with plenty of room to look around. You could spend a couple hours here if you dont know what you want. One of the few liquor stores where you want a cart. Great place to stock up. From rot gut to top shelf and everything in between.

Wow, this place is massive. This has to be the biggest liquor/beer/wine store Ive been in besides Jungle Jims in Cincinnati. They had everything you could think off. I was looking for some Falls City beer since I was in Louisville. The staff pointed me to the location.

I used to live in Louisville and used the Liquor Barn a lot as I lived in Windy Hills but after tonight’s experience I will never set foot in there again. I can’t believe how rudely the female employee treated me as I entered your establishment. I have lived in Florida for the last decade and they the COVID and we aren’t required to wear mask. So I forgot to put mine on as I walked in and was yelled at to put on my mask! I remembered and put on the mask and did my shopping. When I go to check out, no one is there and I here her yelling about me not wearing the Mask, which I was when they came up front then proceeded to tell me about manners or something. I ask them to do there job and check me out and I might have said a cruse word but was then told to leave. So I left and will never do business with your business again. I ended up at Cox’s and they were great.

This is like alcohol heaven! They always have cool stuff there and I tried new drinks because of Liquor Barn my current favorite is Sake a Japanese wine I believe.But staff is amazing and prices are fair.

First stop when we come to Louisville is the Liquor Barn. Love the exclusive bottles you can find, and the selection is bananas compared to the ABC stores in North Carolina (thanks government). Four stars only bc there werent as many exclusives as the last time I came.Quick tip: this is also a fabulous place to get Torani syrups (they have every flavor imaginable), mixers and snacks! We found a wee brie that was so tasty!

I go there for Cigars and their selection of Arturo Fuente sungrown Cigars are very adequate as some places can’t even get them.

This was the most amazing liquor shopping experience of my life. The selection was basically unbelievable. Ill definitely be back on my next trip.

This place has an excellent selection of wine. The staff is really helpful and helped me find exactly what I needed. All I had to do was describe what type of wine I wanted and the guy knew exactly which ones to show me. He even let me try a few samples. The inside of the store was perfectly clean. The prices were great.

They said they could match the price of a particular wine I drink. And when I looked it up and showed them the price of the wine. They said they CANT GO THAT LOW! 🤔🙄Dont tell a customer you can match the price of another store, and then tell them you cant go that low. You lost a customer.

I have been going to liquor barn for decades. Although I enjoy their huge selection, I wish they could get their act together. They have always been unorganized when it comes to their beverage pricing. When checking out at the register, it is a miracle if the 12 pack of beer you are buying rings up correctly. Many times I have bought beers that were incorrectly labeled with the wrong price. Somehow the price at the cashregister is much more than the price printed at the shelf. And NO, I’m not talking about the tax. If I mention the discrepancy in price, then it becomes a big time consuming production. They have to call for a manager, I get moved to the end of the line, a manager finally shows up and has somebody go to the shelf where the beer was grabbed to investigate the price, finally the manager gets on the register to punch me up a partial refund. Furthermore I have seen a 12 pack of beer priced higher in the walk in cooler then that exact same 12 pack of beer thats out on the room temperature shelf. Good grief! They need to hire someone to just pay attention to the pricing and whether or not it’s correct. It is obvious to me that their wide selection is also their curse because they obviously can’t correctly keep track of it all. Do Better!

You guys had a better craft beer selection going on for a while that is still good but not as it was in recent past. Idk if it is the distributors or waning sales but Im sure there is reason. Again, still a good selection and I thank you for that.You also stopped carrying my wifes favorite red wine, and you were once the only place we could find it. Luckily other retailers carry it now.

This place is massive!!! A liquor store that’s the size of a grocery store shouldn’t surprise me in Louisville.Helpful hint: Go to their website and get on their email list. They do different releases for extremely hard to find bourbon including Pappy Van Winkle, Weller, Old Fitz, Blantons and many more.Also a huge selection of wines and craft beer. They have beers on tap as well and do bourbon tastings!

I always order from Drizzly and I always pick Middletown Party Center. However this time I forgot to check and Drizzly picked Liquor barn at Springhurst. The delivery person was very rude, he made a comment that he had to climb two floors- its a Drizzly delivery hes required to do that. He was not a delivery guy, he was a Liquor Barn employee as he was wearing an apron with store name on it. Id never order from this place even by mistake and will make sure to select a different store on Drizzly.

This place is huge ! Great selection of bourbon & whisky, I got some apple pie moonshine & it was great. I wasn’t too sure I was welcomed at first, but after I was there for maybe 5 mins a staff member finally greeted me.

I am not a fan of this place any longer. I spent $158.00 and the lady would not even help me find a box for my 5 wines. She continued to check out the person behind me and got that persons items mixed in with mine..NOT a good process. She said I had to take care of my own purchases...very different from the last time I was there.

Great selection of alcohol, snacks, and party supplies... I would have given 5 stars, but they were out of the Irish Whiskey I love, and they dont even sell this cheap beverage I enjoy. But overall I like the place, and would recommend it to anyone hosting a party.

The liquor barn was an eye opener for me. I moved from Massachusetts recently and we have nothing like it there. Its one stop shopping and has everything you could ever need. The beer selection itself is very interesting and impressive. Liquor and wine are plentiful and the selection varied. One of the things that impressed me was the availableilty of snacks such as Kentuckys delicious beer cheese. The liquor Barn is a great experience which I will be back to enjoy in the future.

Since they have been bought out by an equity group, they seem to be reducing their inventory and dont carry as much variety. (Shelves are only 1/3 full) Mentioned this to employees working there and they agreed. There is a lot of competition in Louisville that do a bettter job, hope they realize this before it is too late.

Sever visits to the liquor barn. Tonight after taking care to make my selections, and mostly a full cart. As I stood in line to pay for my several hundred dollars worth of items; the credit card machine would not work! At this point I had to put everything back. So they lost thousands of dollars in sales just while I was there. Fortunately, there was a great package store down the street. They were locally owned, had a great selection and many things that he liquor barn did not have. They also accepted credit cards. I have had a new liquor store!

Nice selection of beer, wine, and liquor thats easy to find. Theres also a section of deli meats and cheeses with a good bit of them being local. Its also good your standard mixers, chips, and so forth.

I wouldnt recommend trying to buy a growler from there, one of the managers at the liquor barn just tried to sell me a half full growler without a lid. Filled it from the tap (they have special growler filling machines he didnt know how to work them, there was a very informative procedure card he looked at and said theres like 18 steps, man I read the card, it was very well written with arrows and full color pictures, we could have figured it out together, it wasnt busy) so he sat it flat on the drain (supposed to be tilted at 45 degrees to cut down on foam) and filled it until foam came out the top and handed it too me. It was half foam. When I pointed this out he said foam is beer itll go down and offered to wait for the foam to go down and continue filling. It seems to me that the entire point of the specialized bottle filling apparatus is to fill each 64 ouncer properly and repeatably. He didnt know where the lids were and tried to sell it to me without one offering to just tape up the opening without one. His conclusion was that they just dont offer lids. So a half full open container of alcohol Im going to be transporting illegally? pass.He was pretty clearly annoyed that I wouldnt just accept his subpar offering.Please teach the staff how to operate the equipment or to at least not act so offended at the expectation that product matches promise.

Great selection and good prices.They have everything youll want. Including the cheaper brands for more uncommon liquors like sambuca. They had a good selection of Port wine (yay!) And even some liquor related decor for the house.

Huge selection of liquor and a decent selection of macro and craft beers. Very good weekly deals but make sure it rings up as advertised. I had to go back for a refund after noticing 4 of my sale items rang up at regular price.

Not my first choice when I think of liquor stores to go to, however their selection is a lot bigger than most. When I say bigger I mean BIGGER! The place is huge compared to a lot of other liquor stores. Their prices are ok. If you are just looking to pickup beer or something like that I would suggest looking elsewhere like one of the many local grocery stores. If its nicer wines and spirits, or even the hard to find liquors you are after, then this is probably the place for you.

Prices are more compared to Walmart. But only place where we can find few good brands of wine. Porch swing is the best wine.

We love Liquor Barn! My husband is like a kid in a candy factory EVERY time we are in Kentucky....we have to stop at the liquor barn! Plus the free sample burbon shots helps!!

Liquor barn is probably the best place to go for your spirit needs especially if you are looking for something specific. Huge selections, good prices, and knowledgeable staff. The wine selection is great and there is one guy in there who has a great expertise with wine. He was providing wine tastings last time we went in there which is not something you get at most liquor stores.

This place has many unique things most places dont have. The prices might be a little more then some smaller places but they do have a large building to keep up so Im good with the prices here in general.

Hate to do this but i was given misinformation from 2 employees while looking for a special bottle. they told me it was no longer being made. i told them its being sold everywhere else and that not having it was ok... nope, im the idiot it no longer being made or bottles with an age due to the demand for bourbon. went down to Kroger and bought 4 brand new bottles that are not from old stock... they date this product. just say i dont know and that would be fine.... Im sure they are up to date on bud light.... another quality product... not saying dont go here, just beware who waits on you.....

Well I went in to find a cigar for my friend. Couldnt find it or anyone to help. When I got to the counter the lady didnt seem to care I didnt find what I wanted.

You have to give a place five stars when they have such a great distributor relationship with their Sazerac rep that they have 20 bottles of Eagle Rate and Buffalo Trace bourbon sitting on the shelves. The staff is incredibly helpful, approach customers, and genuinely care.
