If you plan on purchasing from this company, make sure you understand their very unforgiving return policy. I purchased a dess online for a funeral, the dress costs $225. When I received it, it didnt fit right. You can only do store credit and the complete transaction (return and new purchase) has to be completed within 14 days of the date of purchase, not even 14 days of when the item was received making it virtually impossible. Basically, treat your purchases as final sale or go to Nordstrom where customer service is always on point. I will never shop here again.

I also ended up buying a few outfits for work because everything I tried on was this amazing combination of being fashionable and comfortable. Highly recommend that you stop in and take a look!

Everything is such beautiful quality, the attention to the products by the owner is so abundantly clear. Everything I own has held up flawlessly for years and continues to remain as staples in my wardrobe. I always feel so good walking out with a new item, love supporting the shop, and will remain a customer for years to come. You will be thrilled with your new favorite shop when you go in.

Michelle is a wonderful store owner. She is so helpful and kind to her customers, really going the extra mile. Plus, she sources unique clothing and accessories from all over the country, mostly from small, woman-owned makers. Theres not a lot of parking nearby, but there are meters usually open across Broadway on 4th (away from downtown), which gives you a quick three block walk, or there are parking garages that are $5 all day, so make an all afternoon trip of it! There are several restaurants and locally owned stores on the block up from Mabel & Moss, like Block Party and Craft, featuring all kinds of local and regional goods, perfect for gift-giving. And, you cant go wrong with the Cellar Door Chocolates right next door either, with dozens of locally made chocolates and amazing truffles and bourbon balls!

While the prices are high, you get what you pay for - incredibly unique and stylish clothing! The atmosphere is bright and homey and the owner (who is often there working the register) is SO nice and helpful. Mable and Moss is a Louisville treasure!
