I just recently redecorated my bedroom and of course Ethan Allen, located on Shelbyville road in Louisville Ky was the only place for me to go to create the bedroom of my dreams. Carissa Harrison greeted me when I walked in. I had seen her there many times before but I never had the pleasure of working with her. I told her exactly what I was looking for, she listened to all of my wants and helped me to pick out the perfect pieces for my bedroom. She is very knowledgeable and very attentive to her clients needs. Carissa helped me from the beginning to the end of this process. She was even kind enough to come to my home after my furniture was delivered to hang pictures, curtains and a Fandelier that she helped find to add the finishing touches to my lovely bedroom. My experience working with designer, Lee Farris was beyond my expectations!I was in the midst of a irate floor refresh in my home and purchased a sofa from her through Ethan Allen. During the transaction I expressed to Leah feeling overwhelmed with paint color decisions.Lee worked with me in the store narrowing down my color choices ANDCame to my home to ensure the selections would work in my home!Her commitment to ensure that my project would be beautiful was beyond commendable. I love the style, and comfort of my sofa. Every paint color Lee recommended was spot on! End result…a beautiful finished project!

My spouse and I met Tonya when we wandered into Ethan Allen to get a sense of their merchandise. She told us of the stores furnitures advantages without being pushy. We were impressed with quality of their furniture and Tonya was awesome. They offer free design services with purchases, so we had Tonya come to our home, twice. She meticulously measured our spaces to use on her computer program to do a furniture layout for our rooms. It was clear that her goal was to help us pick what would work for us, not what she would want if it were her home. We loved the floor plan and fabrics she picked and ordered furniture to completely redo our kitchen and family room. Tonya has a degree in design work and was fun to work. Tonya Simpson is a pleasure to work with. She worked with me over the course of few weeks receiving input and pictures from me to get an idea of my taste. Frankly, I had no idea of my own taste so it was a challenge for her.Then Tonya came out to my house with various options sketched out electronically and many samples of fabrics and wood to choose from. We walked through the house, measured, and made our selections. Tonyas design didnt need any tweaks by me. I was thrilled with what she was able to put together from the very little direction I was able to give. She was also able to recommend a painter since the rooms necessarily needed painted as well.Tonya was communicative, prompt, and professional. Her designs were perfect for my colonial home. I cant imagine going to anyone else to continue furnishing and redecorating my house. She will be tired of me by the time we finish all of the rooms in my home. I cant say enough good things about her and my experience.

The best experience I’ve had with designing a room! Tonya Simpson is very personable and takes the time to figure out your style. She visited our home took pics of room then presented us with a floor plan including fabrics and furniture options that worked best for our space. She has an amazing eye for color combinations, spacial configuration and incorporating older pieces with the new. She was conscious in keeping the den a space that worked both visually for me and a comfortable space for my husband. Win, win for both of us!! The order and delivery process were seamless. Have browsed at Ethan Allen for years put never made a purchase. Never previously felt comfortable with the sales people. That changed this year. Was just casually looking and was approached by Carrisa Harrison. Carrisa immediately placed us at ease and offered to show us around. She took the time to look at photos of our existing furniture which helped her guide us in ways to improve our surroundings. She took the floor plans of the house we are building and was able to show us optimal placement of furniture. She was very patient as we choose fabrics, helping us coordinate various pieces.As I said earlier, we were just in the store casually looking. Because Carrissa took the time to learn about us, that casual trip turned into the purchase of two sofas, two chairs (with fabric we would have never chosen biu they look great) two sets of custom pillows and 3 bar stools.We look forward to continuing to work with Carrissa as we choose window treatments. She has become a great resource for us.

Easiest buying experience in a long time. No pressure sales in store. Priced well for quality. Painless delivery.

I have never had worse service in my life.I bought a recliner amongst other furniture that was delivered before Thanksgiving. The recliner back material was put on to tight and ripped within a month. Ethan Allen didn’t not respond to my issue until I wrote a negative review. When they finally responded they said they needed to get the proper dye lot. That took 4 months. The customer service representative, Debbie Mahiques, seemed to not understand why I would be irritated even though she continued to quote their customer service policy. They picked up the chair April 1st and I was guarantied they would return the chair by April 11th, it’s the 13th and I have had no call.I would really like to return the chair at this point (if I ever get it back) but Ethan Allen doesn’t do that even though they gave me a chair that was made improperly.This service is not even close to being satisfactory. When I purchase furniture again I will make sure to go to a different hi-end furniture store.

Love my new furniture! We bought new pieces for our Den and Carissa helped us pick out the fabrics. I based it around one chair on the showroom that had a cute tartan plaid (that no one liked) so that was 40% off. The other pieces are unique and custom. Pleased with the delivery men as well.Consequently, some flaking occurred on my rattan wicker chair, and the store sent a repairman to touch up. I asked if they could send me some paint from the warehouse, but that was not an option.

We had the pleasure of working closely with Tracy Tolone as a designer from Ethan Allen to help inform our decision-making process in making a home out of our newly acquired living spaces. We recently moved from life in the Caribbean to Clearwater, Florida. Our initial plans were to leave mostly everything behind, except for pieces of artwork in the form of paintings we had collected over the years. We were looking for an arrangement of furniture that would accommodate our immediate needs of settling in to our new home, but ultimately realized, with Tracy Tolone’s keen eye, that many of our lively pieces of art could set beautiful tones and contrasts that would help guide our decisions. We were so pleased to come to that realization that what we had brought with us could match the modern lines and themes that could be created with just the right prescription of pieces, using color, light and form to find the perfect combination. Tracey Tolone was so patient with us in every step of the way, designing spaces that not only exceeded a room’s functional expectations, but that simultaneously expressed a theme which celebrated what we held dear esthetically, while staying true to our budgetary projections. Terrible experience and not worth the $$$$. Find another place to make a purchase! I have spent a lot of money in this store in previous years but I will never purchase from Ethan Allen again. In fact, anyone I know who is considering this store will be made aware of my horrible experience. Their furniture is not even that great!A piece of advise for unsuspecting customers. Make sure to pay 100% of your purchase up front or you will have to continue to wait until your form of payment (cashiers check or money order) posts. This must happen before the company can set up for delivery. To add insult to injury, the delivery scheduler (Traneese) was derogatory and dismissive of my requests or concerns....she was everything but customer oriented.
