Friendly, excellent service at very reasonable prices!! We were traveling on Interstate 5 and ran into problem with our engine light. Found Picos, and immediately was greeted by Ray. He immediately diagnosed the possible issues and was happy to explain everything. Did not try to sell us anything we didn’t need and got us rolling back on the road in no time... thank you Ray! Honest, and trustworthy shop, wish they were in my home neighborhood!

I had emergency car trouble in the morning, and found Picos Auto Repair 2. I was helped by Ray, who was able to get the parts for my 2001 car, and get me back on the road within a couple of hours. Ray goes the extra mile and was friendly, helpful, with very fair price! Great experience considering this was an unexpected emergency. Definitely recommend.

Great experience here. We had a safety issue and they were able to diagnose and fix it pretty much immediately (at a reasonable price, hence the 5 stars!). Also Ray was really nice and patient with my family hanging around while they did the work.

I took my car to picos so he install a new engine in to my car and went to pick up my vehicle it broke down on me not even four blocks from the shop. Turned out they forgot to add oil on to my car and they had put the wrong oil filter . I REALLY DONT RECOMMENDED THIS SHOP . They have poor customer service and wouldnt want what happened to me happen to anyone else .

I was just passing through Los Banos on a road trip when my engine broke down. As soon as I arrived, Ray (one of the owners) decided to make my car the #1 priority because he could see I was in a very rough situation. The customer service was great! Fast, but still a good job!

Taking my vehicle to Picos Auto repair was the best decision Ive made. Not only are the Father and Son two of the most friendliest and honest mechanics around but they also do fantastic work and for a very fair price. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. THEY ALSO HAVE WONDERFUL COMMUNICATION...WHICH IS A MUST. I HIGHLY recommend Picos Auto Repair to all. No hassles...no run around. They are great they are friendly fast and honest I highly recommend them! I took my car in on Wednesday afternoon need it by Thursday midday and they did it they had it ready for me they are great! Well it definitely be coming back!

My daughter was driving home from the bay area to southern California when here starter decided to die when she filled up at a local gas station. AAA was able to tow her car to Picos where Ray was able to quickly diagnose the issue and replace the starter. Being 350 miles away, I felt helpless but Ray was so nice and assured me he would take care of the situation. I called ahead, giving him the Car make & model - he order the part. Ray was able to get this fixed and on her way in under an hour. On top of the attentive service was the extremely fair pricing. I would recommend anyone in need of good auto care to go here. I like the reviews but they don’t answer their phone, it just rings and rings and rings for a long time then says enter your code. No option to leave a message! Is it still in business...?????? lol!

I took my car here for a tune up. They are a wonderful shop, they gave me a really good price. The mechanics there are very knowledge, and friendly. I highly recommend you visit this new shop in town.

Outstanding service, competitive prices, and quick and reliable service. Had them replace the fuel pump in my Audi - Ray let me leave my car at their shop for a week till I got the pump that I ordered from the Internet, and after the pump was delivered they installed it in less than an hour. I called almost all the shops in Los Banos for quotes and Picos gave me one of the lowest quotes. I drove the car to San Jose the same day and have been driving it ever since - no issues what so ever so far. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Great hospitality and a comfortable environment. Their prices are fair and they do an outstanding job every time.

Ray gave me a wrong description of the part my vehicle needed, and made me drive for 2 hours to Merced and back, and when I brought him the part of which he wrote down the name, he looked at it, and said: Im sorry man, thats not the part I need!. And by the time I went back to Merced, to return the item, the store had closed. Consequently, he made me miss the test behind the wheel that I had been waiting for for 2 months. Furthermore, he called the cops on me, and allegedly told them that I stole pieces of his tools. He turned my stay in Los Banos into a living hell!

Came here for an oil leak and the guy had my car for three weeks and didn’t know how to fix the problem ..Car is in worse shape then when I brought it inWould not recommend this place at all
