Small, compact Indian market that seems to have everything from sweets to spices to flours and beans to prepared food and a la carte full menu. Very helpful staff.

Its an Indian grocery store plus Deli / Take Out. And since the remodel they now have several tables set up where you can eat what you order, but since its a small store the tables are close so theres not much privacy for conversation, etc. Better for take out, & basic Indian groceries. Fairly large menu for such a small place. A small hot bar for Fast orders, but for most dishes you have to wait.

Zero start service. Went there and got samosa chaat. There was somethong bad in that samosa chaat, told the owner . She didnt want to acknowledge that. So we didnt eat and threw that away in trash. Still they charged us for their bad food and service. Not sure how they can charge for their old and bad going things. Not going there again

I ordered food through Uber Eats and the packaging was all broken. The package they use is of very cheap quality. The broken pieces of the plastic lids were all in my gravy so obviously I did not even taste is fearing that I might eat a piece of plastic. Also, half of my order was not delivered. Dal was delivered without rice and believe it or not idli sambar was delivered without idli 😳I don’t know if this was the fault of the Uber driver’s fault or the restaurant. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience. Would not recommend this place.

Came for lunch and had a great experience. The food is all excellent. I especially recommend trying the samosas even if youre not generally a fan, as the samosas here are much more flavorful than average. The service was also excellent even though we came during the lunch rush and the restaurant was packed.

I loved the food, and they give you a lot for a very affordable price. It is very bare bones inside, but the staff is nice and hospitable. They bring the food to your table too.I just wish there was more privacy in the restaurant, like cute booths with curtains or something like other Indian restaurants.

This is a go to place for all meat lovers... and all my friends had a amazing time here, but the vegan options here are limited. There was one on the menu but they didnt have it that day unfortunately.Giving them a heads up about your preferences could be a good way to assure they have ingredients to cook you a meal.

The current owners are relatively new. The old owners were the loveliest people! They were always so kind. They always greeted everyone with big, welcoming smiles. I miss them and wish them all the best. I will never eat from the cooked food section there because the first (and last) time I ordered something from the new owners, I pointed out to the gentleman serving that there was a fly in the case where the food is kept on the hot table. His reply was that we all have flies. I didnt bother to attempt to disabuse him of this. Part of the store where the groceries are looks as if it is being remodeled. Or do they just keep it that way? The selection on the shelves is smaller than before or perhaps just different. They no longer have the Mahabringraj Oil I love nor the Ahmeds Mango Pickles, my favorite brand. Though they do carry several others. The prices are reasonable and I may visit there again because I dont drive and its a relatively short bus ride away. But the search is on for a cleaner place with people who are respectful and kind.

Shocked and disappointed East India Grill closed on La Brea. I really wanted the eggplant, and the sign on the window referred me to this location. So, we drove twenty minutes to the new location. I ordered the eggplant, and oil was running out of the dish. This was not the same eggplant I remember, nor had. The food was adequate. There is parking in the front for a fee, or in the corner strip mall. Theres a grocery store on the other side catering to Indian cuisine for your needs.

Truly delicious, if a bit pricey. Still, the lamb vindaloo will live up to the spicy label on the menu for even the biggest fan of spicy food and the Mogambo fried chicken Tikka Masala sandwich (not on the dinner menu but you can request it) was ultra satisfyingly tasty, if a bit small. We really enjoyed our dinner here and will dream of coming back!

Probably the worst Indian store Ive ever been to. They keep a lot of expired products on the shelf, be very careful when buying from here. Added to that, the prices are really overpriced. They dont give you a bill since the prices are entered by hand and they inflate it a lot.

Just ok. Happens to be a life saver cause unfortunately its the only place in West LA close to my apartment. Needs a major refurbishment and should remove expired food off the shelves.
