My girls tires popped so we took the wheels and had the tires replaced. Cant remember names but the dude that helped us was nice and the job was well done. I installed the tires later and noticed that one of the center caps looked a bit off, and when I came to pick up the second wheel the guys gave us the correct center cap and offered to fix it. I have my own tire spot in OC but this place is just as good. Price was justified for the quality of work and product. Plus they got a nice 190E parked in their lot, someone has an eye for undesired classics.

Went in for tire checkup and repair on 8/13. It was a tricky case that other tire shops just could not figure out. These guys finally figured it out--it was a cracked wheel that needed a replacement. Service was quick within 20 mins and each rep and mechanic was highly professional and friendly. I also liked their online estimate and approval system. Eryck was highly effective in communication by telephone call, voicemail followed by text message. Last but not least, this is one of the best looking auto service facilities Ive ever been to. Clean, uncluttered, and organized. Im definitely going back if I ever need more services in the future.

Needed a knob replacement on my manual transmission shift stick. Sadly I couldnt find an original piece and had to purchase an after-market product that didnt fit precisely well. The folks at University Tire & Auto Service were able to make the replacement work and I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done. Super friendly, professional crew with integrity. And thankfully they are close to my apartment. Will definitely use them again!

Very cool shop. They were highly communicative, very clear in explanations, fair on price, and quick to complete repairs! They let me know what was going on the entire time and never tried to up-sell or add in those little extra costs that so many shops tend to do. My vehicle has never ridden better or smoother. All the employees were incredibly friendly. Even the mechanics in the bays would say hello or greet you when they walked by. Its those little things that count. Catalytic converter was installed after my car had it stolen. All personnel I interacted with at University Tire were knowledgeable, communicative, and friendly. The job was handled faster than I expected even though my insurance specified parts that were not readily available. Top notch job by the team!

I will never use this place, I was given a price for Shocks and Brakes, then sent a estimate twice the price, and then told that it didnt even include parts which would raise the price several hundred dollars more. I went to a different shop and had the job done for less than half the price. Avoid this place at all cost.

I’ve brought all my vehicles here for routine oil changes to timing chain repairs. I recommend friends/family do the same. They do quality work and have a dedication to getting it right. John runs a great shop they are very detailed on their inspections and take the time to explain it thoroughly. I just recently came in to have my AC system recharged. I scheduled an appointment and it was finished at the promised time. University Tire is the place to go. Hes got a great team that do a phenomenal job. This is my new to go shop from now on.

We have used University Tire twice now. Once for general service and the second time after the car was in an accident. When we left if after the accident we also left town so we had to navigate the situation from afar. They handled dealing with the insurance company which was delayed and it took awhile. They kept us posted and gave us advice all along the way. They fixed what the insurance company paid for and then did some additional work. We were pleased with how it turned out and how they managed the process. Would go to them again if we lived in the area.

Had a pleasant experience here. As a woman I’m always nervous about how I’ll be treated when it comes to cars, but I felt at ease with these guys. My car was having delayed start issues, They got me in the very next morning for an estimate, the estimate was fair and they got to work immediately. Eryck who worked on my vehicle was awesome. Just for reference, I needed a new battery, I paid $272 and the inspection and service took less than 2 hrs. They didn’t try to sell me on anything extra or give me some insane list of problems. I’m for sure going back to them and would recommend them to anyone.

Normally the service is great but this time around i felt they were giving me the runaround. I brought my car in to find out why my car wasn’t starting right away. They tested my starter and said that I needed to replace it. I had them replace the starter. I got my car back but when it starts it makes a noticeable engine revving sound . When I explained this to the technician he gave me all kinds of excuses about why this is happening. My car never made this sound before. Im desponded because i really thought i found a good car service

My first time here was exeptional for tire rotations customer service was great my second time here was not a good experience charge me 95 to diagnose and didnt help with the problem a noise my sterring wheel was making the mechanic didnt put stering fluid an easy fix i was able to get done elsewhere and was charged only 20 dollars the other mechanic elsewhere did the same diagnose and offer further help with other car issues he observe.i went here because i tought they did things right the first time i was extremely upset that they couldnt just add stering fluid since my car was out off it they diagnose a leaking.once the other mechanic added stering fluid the noise was gone and told me to check for the leaking and bring it back for further assistance.i ask for a refund with university tired and was told they were suppose to add fluids upon inspection but didnt and that they where going to check who had done the work but not a refund.extremely upset.not a job well done👎👎

I was searching around for a place that would be able to replace a flat that I had received from an accident the night before. I was stressed because I don’t know the area, I called a more well-known company and they weren’t able to help me. I called here and they immediately told me to come in and that they would be able to replace my donut with a new tire today and I wouldn’t have to wait for another day. As soon as I came in they immediately helped me, replaced my tire and I was good to go after about 30 mins. I am so thankful for the friendly and quick service I received, and will gladly return if I am in the area again! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Very irresponsibles. Went there with appointment to change the oil and tires rotation and after one and a half hour came back to pick the car up and they hadnt even started to work on it. A waste of time!!

Our daughter recently relocated to Los Angeles, and we knew at some point wed need to find a qualified mechanic for her car. We didnt plan for it to be so urgent, but when her brakes needed immediate replacing, University Tire and Auto Service took care of it. Unfortunately, the wheel lock had been lost from her car, so they had to deal with that big inconvenience before even starting work. They did so, and were professional, helpful, communicated with us frequently, and left us knowing we now had a qualified local repair shop for our daughter. We highly recommend them.

This place is awesome. Brought my E93 bmw 335i in today for a oil change. They took less than an hour and they were very kind and respectful. Price is reasonable also. Definitely recommend to anybody whos looking for a good shop to bring their car to.

This was the worst experience I’ve had in any auto shop. I would not recommend anyone to come here. The reason is because I went in to fix my breaks spent over $2500. When my car was fixed and I took it home I noticed the front wheel was lose. I took it back, got it back, they did not resolve my problem plus they messed up my battery. Now I need to pay more for those repairs, not to mention they did not take responsibility. I haven’t ride my car at all because it is not mobile whatsoever. Worst auto shop ever!!! Expensive, waste of time and does not meet customers satisfaction. Do not recommend!

Nice guys. Clean. Dont go here for anything important. Just throwing money away.Theyre good for quick fixes, get your oil changed, new wipers, not much else.Youll be overcharged for unnecessary parts and the work that is necessary wont get done. Offer free diagnostic, they couldnt find anything with the free version, charged for a better diagnostic, they still couldnt figure it out.I brought a used car in for a general diagnostic, check engine light on, wheels constantly losing air, A/C problems, bad handling and suspension.Over more than 10 visits and over $1,000 wasted all these problems were still problems. ALL!Unnecessary parts were replaced at the highest parts and labor rates. Unskilled mechanics couldnt diagnosis or repair any of the real problems. Finally got the car to better shop and got results and fixes.

I can’t complain enough about this place. Do not bring your car here. I took my car in for regular oil change service in the summer. When I left all my service light indicators were still on. I called and they assured me it had been done so I let it go. I spoke with the manager this time to ensure proper service, and he assured me they would take care of it and also check my engine lights to pull the codes. After leaving my car there for almost five hours causing me to miss an appointment, I picked the car up and the engine codes were not checked, I did not get the inspection report until I asked for it (they usually tell you before they do anything) and a day later my engine coolant alert (which should have been topped off during the oil change) has come on saying I need to add it to my car. Had to take it to another service station two days after paying them. Never coming back here or giving them any more money.

It got their reference through Costco, they also accept the 15% off coupon provided by Costco. Very fair, friendly and efficient team. I would definitely consider them as one of my trusted Garages.

Called for estimate on 4 tires for my truck, their estimate was a lot higher than 4 tire dealers i checked, ended up paying $1300 for the exact tires they were charging me $1879 for. Save your money, go elsewhere

Took my care to this place and ask for a simple alignment and for a body quote to replace a door. As Ali said simple right? Except it wasn’t. I would told by De’ontea that my car could not be aligned because the tire was too far out and that a body shop would have to repair this issue before any alignment could be done. What a coincidence they have one. I was promised a repair and quote from the body shop the next day. No surprise that didn’t happen. When the body shop finally contacted me. Stating there was nothing wrong with the tire from the body side. Meaning It was either a mechanical issue or I was lied to. When speaking back with the mechanic he wanted to change me $500 dollars to look into the reason again. I declined and asked for the alignment, I originally ask for. I received a call two hours later. Stating my fairly bad tire was flat and that couldn’t do the alignment. That is unless of course I payed for new tires before. This place is not about its customers, only money. Seeing how they charge you for every time they lay a finger on a car.

Went in to see what leak my check engine code was referring to and they fixed the issue in a timely (albeit expensive) manner. Definitely worth the money for the speed, professionalism, and quality service. Dropped it off on a Wednesday afternoon and it was ready for pickup the very next day (Thursday afternoon). Took my car in on Sunday, I was the first car In. I had some leaks in my engine. The gasket was leaking as well as my car was misfiring. I have an old car 2007 Chrysler that hasn’t had much big work done to it from its last owner, I saw the reviews with university tire online and decided to give it a shot. I wanted my car to be touched by real professionals and I wanted the job to be done quickly. Which university succeeded in doing so. I Took my car in at 8:00 am and it was done by 2:30 pm. The great thing about going to this place is they actually care about your car, they give you suggestions on what you should up keep to keep your car running beautifully. If you’ve already gotten what they suggested to your car repaired then you’re already one step ahead. I was helped, listened to and service was quick and my car is running beautifully. The only thing is ... it’s expensive, but hey I like the finer things anyways, and you pay for the service you want. Any other mechanic would’ve kept my car for three four days. Thanks y’all !

Ive been using them for years and absolutely love this place and make the drive all the way from west LA because I trust them so much. They do a lot more than tires too. Ive had them do oil changes, smog checks, AC repair. They always are able to fit me in and give me a great price.

In my opinion this is the most professional alignment shop Ive been to. While the price per alignment in other shops range fron $50 up to $70 ... here is a little bit more but its well worth the extra bucks. In addition, the alignment is performed to factory specs and the technician test drives the vehicle before returning it to you along with the print out of the alignment results. Definitely way superior service than other shops around.

Worst place ever!!! Do not come here, I went in with one problem my car came out with multiple problems. They charge a lot and they do not take responsibility for what they damaged. Better off taking them to the small local auto shops.

This is the second place I called when I found a flat. They had great weekend hours and were able to pick me up some uniquely sized tires. They’re also in the area, which was important because my EV was low on power when I brought it in. This business has great customer service. Although I only went in for a simple flat tire repair I was taken care of very professionally. They have very skilled people working for them. I have a pretty old Honda Accord with manual transmission and they were patient with what wound up being a much more complicated repair than originally anticipated. They completed the repair at their original quote, despite having to purchase some unexpected parts. Ill be coming back here the next time I need maintenance.

On a sunday morning i noticed my brakes were weak, this was the only place i found open, i gave them a call, the gentleman i spoke with was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, once there i believe i spoke to the same person, overall excellent experience from him, if it was only for another gentleman who didnt care enough to give a good customer experience, but overall great. i left for lunch and he said he would shoot me a text when it was ready, i never got any notifications and after a few hours i returned to learn my car had been finish not long after i had left. After a very dry apology i was on my way. if i wasnt in a rush i would have not mind. Great place, i recommend, i would have five 5 stars if it wasnt for what i previously explained.
